I bought a pair of sandals in july 2023. After only a couple of months of use, last summer and this summer, the insoles are completely cracked. This is really frustrating for a pair of sandals that... See more

Note: these Yuccatan Ecco sandals started releasing a black dye onto my feet after I had worn them for a while. I provided Ecco with a picture of my feet after only wearing them for one hour, usually... See more

I was shipped different shoes than my order -- twice -- and was informed by Ecco that I would have to pay the return postage. I wrote a letter to the company. No reply.

ECCO: Shockingly bad product and customer service
My wife purchased me a pair of shoes described as "The ECCO GRUUV sneakers are specially engineered to provide a comfortable walking experience and support your every step." They have elastic laces - brain-dead feature for a walking shoe, they lacerate your heels after only 10 mins walking at pace. Ecco would not even offer a pair of proper laces to solve the issue, no help, just blamed me for not knowing how to walk, what socks to wear etc., anything to brush me off.
I will never buy from this organisation again and would advise you to steer clear too. Incompetent design by uncaring fools.
TIM CALLED ME A LIAR
The hostility and lack of willingness to help from your customer service team is appalling. I tried to return two pairs of shoes that I purchased online for over $400 - but my call was ten days after ECCO’s 60 day return policy. Fifteen years ago when I first started doing business with ECCO they had the best customer service any place. A special shout-out to Customer Service agent “Tim” who called me a liar and faulted me for not calling within the deadline. I thought customer service was about serving customers. I’ve bought probably 20 pairs of ECCOs through the years since 2001. And they all fit the first time. I wasn’t asking for money or a refund. Just a simple exchange for a size that fits. Seems like an easy fix to help someone. Right? Stay away from ECCO.
There is no shoe like and Ecco Shoe. Once you have spoiled your feet they will never be happy with anything else.
I looked on line and must admit that I had already purchased a pair of golf shoes and with some help from an Ecco Rep we had come up with a perfect fit in the correct size and width. when ordering my latest pair I referred to my golf shoes and gave them the size and width and my new ones, women's Ult-Trn, I just slipped my feet into them and was so comfortable from the start. I have to say that my husband now plays golf in Ecco Shoes and his next walking shoes will also be Ecco
DISASTER from the the Start!
DISASTER from the the Start!
1. Order Place on March 9 for 2 pair of shoes.
2. One pair gets cancelled by ECCO Canada but only partial refund processed. I have to email and ask for the rest of the refund for the 2nd pair.
3. Canada Post tracking stopped updating a couple of days after. I email ECCO for help and they told me to contact Canada Post.
4. Canada Post's deadline passed and they asked me to reach out to the sender.
5. Today so far 4 emails to ECCO Canada but no response!!
These guys are THIEVES!! DO NOT BUY HERE!!
DELAMINATING SOLES
Really liked my ECCO shoes. They were comfortable with good cushioning. The problem is both soles delaminated from the rest of the shoes. For the $$ they cost they should last more than 2 years.
Poor workmanship
The Ecco Light Shock Point shoes I seldom wear are separating from the soul and leather its apparently glued to.I took the wonderfully comfortable shoes to a shoe cobbler and right away he knew the brand and problem. There is nothing to sew together to remedy the problem and cannot replace the rubber soul!A $120 shoe that's made of inferior glue which is evidently different thats used in Ecco gold shoes...I have a pair...I would express to people look elsewhere for quality footwear other than Ecco...so obtuse.
On recent trip to Europe I took my Ecco…
On recent trip to Europe I took my Ecco walking shoe. The soles completely fell apart leaving my feet both wet and cold. Took pictures and sent to company and they told me to cut out the tongue of each shoe and sent another photo. I threw the shoes away before returning home as I had no use for them. At that point Ecco would do nothing. This seems to be a fairly common problem. I will never buy from them again. Beware!!!
not even 2 years of light use. soles crambling
not even 2 years of light use, stored in dry, cool place both of the Shoe soles are falling a part and crambling . I've decided to contact customer service which was fast BUT the solution is not good as we can read only here how many people had the same problem and they want to check my shoes first and IT it's defective they will trash a shoe that fit perfect in my feet and I've paid big money for it. I've heard they would give me a "voucher" to help to pay for another pair but the value is not even close to what I've paid, besides the style I had is no longer available, only ugly, gross styles. So not good a company who promise to have the stronger shoes in the earth. very very bad way to treat their customers.
TERRIBLE PRODUCT AT TOP PRICE
Ecco shoes used to be high quality and they were my shoe choice. In recent years I’ve had three different pairs where the heal and sole of the shoe completely crumbled into black particles. Upon contacting ECCO. was offered a 20 percent discount on a new pair. Don’t invest 300 hundred on a terrible product with poor customer service. Consumer beware.
Bad experience
I had the worst experience with this company. I was very happy that i found a good quality with nice design but it appeared to be the opposite. After 3 months of using the shoes it appeared to be a manufacturing default and the color of the leather changed, after showing it to them few times they said that they can fix the default but not the color, but when i went to get the shoes back i noticed that they fixed a different part that had nothing wrong beside the fact that they kept blaming me for the default and said that i didn't use it properly as if it's the first time i use a shoes, and now i have paid half of the price of the shoes on transportation and didn't get to a result yet. Everything is nice until you face them with a problem, they made me feel i committed a crime. It was the first and last time i deal with this brand.
Shoelaces
I like the Ecco 7’s but am extremely disappointed that you can’t get replacement shoelaces. The shoes look terrible without the original laces and Ecco is nonexistent to help recommend similar laces. Would never have bought the shoes if I knew this.
still crumbling shoesoles and abysmal follow-up
I had a pair of Ecco shoes some years ago where the soles crumbled the third time wearing them. Bad experience at the time but at least the store was helpful.
Fast forward to recently, where I took a chance with Ecco shoes as they claimed that the problem with crumbling soles that they blamed on rare "hydrolysis" was solved. Mistake. The soles started disintegrating after about 15 days of use over multiple months. Shoes were stored in a dry and well ventilated place, so this is not about some freak hydrolysis. This is defective material and design. This time around, the online service was slow and the response was a runaround about helping the "customer" contact the store. No ownership of the problem by the manufacturer, no goodwill, no responsiveness.
Lesson learned: Ecco is an untrustworthy company that keeps cheating on quality and service.
bloody shoes
The absolute worst customer service…
The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's like dealing with a disfunctional robot.
Ecco shoes store worth a look!
Last week I bought a pair of Ecco golf shoes to wear as a work shoe. The 2 young ladies at the Bayshore store were great to deal with. Fantastic knowledge of the products, recommended some shoes to try and I left the store with a nice pair of shoes. By far better customer service than the previous 10 stores I went to looking for shoes.....First pair of Eccos and certainly not the last as I am very hard on shoes whilst on the job...The shoes are great, the Client Service shines "head & shoulders" above the rest of the stores my wife and I went to so as to replace my work shoes. Way to go Ecco!
I also got issues with that merchant
I also got issues with that merchant. But we aren't alone. We can file a complain to police. They are a poor shopify online store and they can't even take care of their clients.
Ecco shoes
My only previous experience was owning a pair of golf shoes which were nice recently ordered 2 pairs from Ecco online and when I got them they were too big I wear 11.5 and ordered 11 11.5 45 had to pay for return shipping which cost me 47 dollars , what a mistake that was when you can get virtually any shoe Ecco makes at Amazon with free shipping and free returns ,,,word to the wise don’t ever Oder Ecco shoes online without trying on first or only but from a retailer who offers free returns , the sizing on Ecco shoes vary widely from model to model hope this helps .
Wrong size, two months this and counting for return
Terrible customer service. They sent wrong size. Sent back and two months later they ask me to confirm my order number. All is info was included in original email and form with return. No problem taking your money. Never again.
Broken within a year
Bought a pair of rugged GTX Exostrike boots but the leather is already worn through several places and the "unbreakable" material around the sole is coming apart!
In comparison my Meindl Borneo boots have lasted over 10 years with hard use!
Ecco is overmarketed thrash.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ECCO SHOES
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ECCO SHOES! THEY CHARGE TOP DOLLARS BUT USE VERY CHEAP LEATHER. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO POOR! AFTER 3 ROUNDS OF GOLF, MY SHOES LEATHER IS FADED AND WORN OUT ALREADY!
