Outstanding customer service

Had to organise taxis to Edinburgh from Glasgow on short notice and these guys were excellent. Great value and constantly kept in contact to make sure things ran smoothly. Thoroughly recommend.

Worst experience we’ve ever encountered.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered with organising a shuttle bus/mini van. The mini bus I booked was for 17 people at 10am- the bus showed up 2 hours late after promises that it ‘wasn’t far away’ and the company had sent a 16 seater- therefore not big enough for our group.
We had organised this for royal ascot and due to the late arrival we missed the Queen’s procession and the first race. There were no apologies from the company and I would never recommend them to anyone. Such a disappointing experience for what should have been a great day out with friends.

Inadequate Reply from Cabzilla

So Cabzilla have replied to my previous post asking for proof they let us down..... why does this not surprise me.
How can I upload proof of waiting in a Wetherspoons for 4 hours then breaking down 80 yards away???????????

As for being ‘unable to trace the booking’ you said the same thing on the phone EVERY SINGLE TIME we called so this does not surprise me either!!!!

Disgusting of you to ask for proof knowing there’s no way for our party to provide it.

Worst service I have ever had...

We recently tried to book a Mini Bus for a stag doo and had frankly an awful experience.

After speaking with 'Abi Johnson' who works for Cabzilla, we agreed on a price for the journey. A few days later after asking for the details to pay a deposit Abi came back and asked to increase the price of the bus due to him having under quoted and the drivers expressing that they would not be able to complete the journey for that price.

We agreed to this and agreed to pay a £50 deposit for the journey and had to wait a number of days to receive the details to make a bank transfer. As soon as the details were received the payment was made to the company within a couple of hours. I spoke to Abi and he promised a booking confirmation email.

The next day without having received an email I rang Abi to request a confirmation email. When I eventually got hold of Abi he told me that they weren't going to be able to fulfill the booking due to having double booked the driver even having taken a deposit from myself. After challenging Abi on this he became unbelievably rude on the phone and started to tell me it was my fault for not paying the deposit on time (having only received the details the day before) and raising his voice to talk over me throughout the whole phone call. I asked for an immediate refund on my deposit and was told that I would have to wait up to 28 days to see this refund. I again challenged Abi on this and told him given that they had canceled the service and not myself I was entitled to receiving the refund immediately. He proceeded to lie by telling me that Business Bank accounts weren't able to make refunds immediately and it would take up to 28 days.

Following arguing with Abi until he agreed to send me a confirmation email with regards to the refund I was told I had to wait up to 28 days again to wait for the refund to be made. He said if they didn't pay me then I could take them to court. This was repeated on a number of phone calls with Abi.

After waiting over 30 days for a refund I had to email Cabzilla to inform them if they did not make a refund then I would be approaching Trading Standards and reporting them about their conduct.

I then received an email telling me that the payment had already been made on the same day I originally made the payment. When I provided screenshots of my bank statement and again threatened the company with reporting them to trading standards.

The company then realised they were in the wrong and someone made contact with me to say there had been a mix up on their end organised a refund that hit my account the next day.

Whilst I am happy that I have eventually received my refund, the overall experience has not been a pleasant one. I would also like to add that 'Abi Johnson' is an embarrassment to the company and needs to be educated on customer service and customer rights as he makes the company appear to be scamming customers and is rude beyond belief.

If you deal with Abi...put the phone down and book with another business.

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW

Since posting my original review I have received a number of phone calls and a text from Abi. Abi has asked me to remove the review from the Trust Pilot website and threatened to have it removed by force if needed. I have screenshot the texts and video evidence of the link between Abi Johnson and Cabzilla to provide as needed in support of this review.

The worst experience I have ever had…

The worst experience I have ever had bar none.

Paid £400 for a mini bus return journey to Wales (was originally quoted £385 but was then asked to pay an additional £50 fee as their card machine was broken and they wanted to use paypal. Refused and a £15 fee was agreed to be added on the invoice for paying ‘by credit card’.). The taxi was 45 minutes late with no apology and the driver had no idea where we were going. We had to wait 5 minutes for him to programme the sat nav. When I complained to Abi after we had waited for 35 minutes with no explanation for a car we had already paid for, I had this conversation; ‘The taxi is 35 minutes late, this is ridiculous!’ to which he responded ‘Well how about I cancel your car, how’s that? You don’t get to talk to me like s**t.’

If you want to be sworn at, swindled, provided with awful service and threatened when you have no alternative but to accept said service, then this is the taxi company for you!

UPDATE: The response to this review shows what kind of company this is. I did not swear or raise my voice, which is more than I can say for Abi. To call your customers a liar and to think that being 45 minutes late is acceptable says it all. To clarify, we were not told there had been a traffic accident, only that the taxi was not there and he didn't know where it was, we were then given an alternative number to call to sort it out ourselves.

If you google this company you will find other similar reviews, one of which sums it up 'cowboys'.

Thank you for taking your time to leave our company a review. As it stands with your transfer we done our upmost to cater for your transfer unfortunately we don't provide JET based vehicles that can guarantee pick up on time or skip & avoid any traffic or diversions. We always schedule a pick up for our driver to arrive 10 to 15 minutes in advance. I wish there was a such thing as a crystal ball that tells us exactly what is going to happen with each transfer in advance that we conduct that way we'd be the best company in the world. You being a manager or a director did not have the right to swear at me or talk down as a professional & position that you are in you shocked me. Luckily I still reasoned with this customers even after what was said to me was not pleased at all. Lies & manipulations is this review. Driver was pleasant as always & no issue on return just a shame this customer did not understand what a Rd traffic accident can cause which is in the terms & Condition on our web site that we have no control of. Job was a well done job from our side. I did not swear nor was a rude. There is always two sides to a story.

Well certainly its the world we live in you can not please everyone especially if all is out of your hands. If you google our company yes we have good & bad reviews but that should not reflect this review which still shy's away from the truth & puts us in the dark patch when no proof is visible. When you have GOOD & BAD Reviews you know you are dealing with a real company.

Excellent transport company

Excellent service. The booking was easy. Confirmation was sent. There is a phone number in case of problems. It was a very reasonable price. The driver was on time both to the venue and return and was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this company.

Amazing effort to help

My trip was inundated with calamity at many different stages (not as a result of this company) from planning until the day of departure.

The staff did everything in their power to make things as easy as possible for me. They were Absolutely brilliant

Very accommodating and punctual taxi service

Abi and our driver were both very good when they picked us up from a recent festival. Competitive price and were at the meeting point on time, driver got us home quickly and was friendly which we needed as there was a few sore heads in the car! Will definitely use again next year :)

I was very pleased wth my experience with Cabzilla.

Whilst prices were inflated due to the busy time at which I booked, my experience with Cabzilla was wholly positive. The drivers were very friendly and always on time (usually arrived well before time and were happy to wait as long as needed). Booking was straightforward, quick and easy, the gentlemen I spoke to was very helpful and polite. I would recommend using their services to anyone.

Great service, would recommend!

I was worried that it was going to be a con and we wouldn't have a taxi and they'd then have all my money but it was great, very cheap, very reliable and the bus and it's driver was very pleasant. Would 100% use this service again and would happily recommend to anyone else to use it!
