Very bad experience

The gift was never received by the recipient and when asking for a refund no one replied to me. I spent 130 euros and my friend never received her gift.
The service is very bad and I will never purchase from you ever again.

bad customer service and worst experience in my life!

Being a foreigner, i was trying to send a birthday surprise gift to my friend and i paid for express service. however i didnt know that the hotel was not accepting gifts so the gift was not delivered in the end. even after several tries of talking with the customer service, the attitude was rude and insisted it was my fault as i didnt check with the hotel before arranging the delivery. so in the end, i had paid for the gift, paid for the express service but NO gift was delivered and NO refund can be made as well. WORST experience ever in my life!!!

Our customer service has informed you in a professional and courteous manner that our website states very clearly that prior verification is required if hotels/hospitals receive parcels.
The shipper fulfilled its obligation and the parcel was offered, but as the hotel in question does not accept parcels, it was refused.
Passing on another address was not possible at this point as the quality of the chocolate could no longer be guaranteed. These were sent back to us to be thrown away.

Was promised delivery on March…

Was promised delivery on March 31.delivery was April 2 for gift for 80 year old. I was told the reason was the recipient or I refused delivery or changed it to April 2. That was a lie— I said so — then was told sarcastically “was I aware of strikes etc in France?” This was a total turn around excuse and quite frankly, to me insulting. Switching to gifts for Europe.

First of all, we would like to confirm that there have been major strikes for almost 2 weeks now in all of France due to the pension reform. As a result, many shipments are unfortunately delayed. These are unforeseen circumstances for us and for the transport companies. In theory, we do not have to offer compensation for force majeure, but for the clients of CadoFrance we are happy to make an exception. Therefore, you will be refunded the full transport cost. I ordered this from Australia to my son-in-law for his birthday - everything arrived on time and everyone was happy with the goods provided.
I was a little disappointed in the size of the champagne supplied, but I'll maybe read the small print in the future. The bottle quantity was small compared to the photo.

The package could not be delivered

The package could not be delivered. The address was correct, the recipient was home all days on delivery, no attempts were made or notification of an attempt. Package was returned to sender and no reimbursement for failure to deliver....?

They use UPS which never even attempts…

They use UPS which never even attempts delivery in France. And when they even do, they only deliver between 9am and 6pm when people are at work. What a joke. Oh, and their depot for picking it up yourself is 50km away!! Don’t use the absolute worst courrier service in Europe and expect to run a business properly. Find a different delivery provider than has local access/relay pickup points at local businesses or that delivers at night or early mornings before work like FedEx or DHL. Otherwise you’re essentially just running a scam. So you’ll never actually receive anything that you order from this place and will have to do a chargeback to your bank card because they won’t refund. Avoid. Nothing but a disaster on two or three separate occasions.

Order never received by the recipient …

Order never received by the recipient after multiple attempts to contact UPS (who never attempted delivery). Total fraud!

Funny that after all the headache, complaining to UPS and CadoFrance, even after they wrote me saying it’s not their problem and they pointed out that their website says they don’t offer refunds … they finally admitted that UPS is lying about delivery attempts, they will be filing a complaint against them and they did issue me a full refund. Still not a reliable service
and won’t be using again. Change your carrier Cadofrance!

My item was not delivered

My item was not delivered - been a huge nightmare and am still waiting! Awful comms - they do not answer phones and do not resolve issues - very good at just passing the buck! Will not order with them again!

Added 14th March. Check your records - order was not delivered 6th Dec - thats the original date it SHOULD have been delivered - it was delivered 24 Dec! Goes to show how badly organised this company is!
