I placed my order on June 3 for delivery on 8 July. This allowed plenty of time for the cake to be delivered in time for my daughter’s party. However after receiving no notification of my order being shipped I tried to contact the Cakes by Andrew to find out what was happening. When I could not get through via phone (phone lines were not working as of 8 July), I tried to contact them via the chat function on their website (as of 12 July still no rely), I then sent a cancellation request email via their contact form on the website and have now sent an email directly to the email address provided. To say that I am not impressed with the customer service is an understatement , considering their response to an earlier review that states they place ‘great importance on customer service as a small family run business’.
I have yet to receive my money back, I had to scramble to get another cake in time for the party. Simply put, my experience has been terrible.
Very disappointed.

Ordered 2 mix boxes,got about 3 of what I actually ordered and the rest all replacements without notice. Near enough all melted when arrived. Gifted to other people as I couldnt eat them after one tasting funny,maybe due to the melting I'm no so sure. And the others well I didn't like hence not ordering them ones.. for 50 odd pound I just wasnt impressed with my first purchase and not sure I'll be returning to try anymore.

The variety pack is genius. And the special note was a nice touch!

The quality control was lacking and the cake did not really represent the picture. The cake was damaged in delivery, but this item was pack very well.

I got my husband 6 cakes for Father’s Day and they were absolutely perfect! Soo lovely! Thank you :)

Ordered reeses pieces cake in may came on time was perfect for my daughter birthday well happy with it and great taste then decided to order Spider-Man one this month for my sons 6th birthday arrived today absolutely disgusting it was all smashed in on the 1 side and all lop sided was nothing like on the picture waste of money it was went straight in the bin so disappointed about it

I placed an order for 2 Brownie Boxes to be delivered the Saturday before Fathers Day. One to each of my Dads. Neither one of them has received their gift which cost £27 per box. Now I feel very upset and let down not only that this company has basically robbed me of £54 but my Fathers never received anything from me on Fathers Day. The order was placed through the website and allowed me to select Saturday 17th June 2023 as date for delivery. I have tried to contact them for the past 3 days now on their website chat box also leaving my email address and have had no reply. The company phone line is down also. I want a refund.

** UPDATE ** I was contacted by the company after leaving this review and received a full refund for both orders. I am still left very disappointed that my Fathers Day gifts were not delivered. The company states in their reply I never selected a date but the fact is you cannot order without specifying a delivery date and I was very specific about choosing the Saturday before Fathers Day. In fact as they were sent to 2 separate addresses I had to do 2 separate orders so went through the date selection process twice - that coupled with the fact the card inside said 'Happy Fathers Day'. I could have went to any other cake supplier and regret choosing this one. I have changed my review from 1 star to 2 stars given the fact I did get a refund on the end but I couldn't rate any more than 2 out of 5 - below average. The whole experience has been time consuming, stressful and dissapointing.

I ordered a selection of cakes for a friend for her birthday, I'll be honest I didn't think they would be in great shape, being transported from Liverpool to Cardiff 🙈 but boy was I wrong 😁 arrived the day they should have,and in perfect condition like they had just been picked up from the bakery itself! and my friend said they were absolutely stunning 😍 so thankyou for a great service and amazing cakes and brownies 😁😁

My cake got damaged in transit so my daughter never got to have her cake. I was very disappointed and upset because it was the weekend Andrew couldn’t get me another one made and sent out. I did receive a full refund and gift card and communication was great.

Also I ordered from Andrew before in April and everything was perfect with that cake which is why I ordered again in June.

Was sent an item I didn’t ask for and turned out to be a something my child was allergic too. Contacted them and the message was read over 18 hours ago and no reply. Not the best for how expensive it is. Cupcakes dry but brownies were nice.

Rated 5 so review would show - real rating minus 2. Ordered a cake for my daughters 30th birthday. Was delivered and left at my front door in hot weather. I was at work and nobody attempted to contact me. No appropriate packing and was damaged in transit. Top and bottom damaged and cake lopsided. Tried ringing customer services but number not in service. Emailed and to date no response.

Bought a cake for my dad's 70th easy to order.cake selection was great many to choose from. Delivered on the date I wanted came packaged very well and in perfect condition. The cake was stunning and tasted amazing. Will definitely be ordering again

Was a birthday gift for my sister-in-law. Apparently the cakes were good but they were delivered the day before I asked them to be delivered

Fantastic service! Turned up promptly and cake all intact! Ferrero rocher cake was absolutely delicious too! Well worth it!
