The Aloha cake was fantastic! The birthday girl and her diary intolerant 7 year old loved it. You would never have guessed it was a vegan cake.
It was delivered well in perfect packaging too.

Thanks for your review Alex, I am sorry that you found the cake to be smaller than expected, some of the photographs on the website are tall cakes and some are regular. There is a size guide on each product page which indicates a Regular cake as 4 layers of sponge and a Tall as 5. They are all baked in 6' tins and this is also indicated on the size guide.
As we are a small independent family business, all of our cakes are hand made, we do not use any manufacturing machinery.
I do hope that the taste of the cake outweighed the disappointment in the expected size.

Wow what a service!! A beautiful cake, wonderfully packaged and in fabulous condition despite having been shipped 150 miles to me. My daughter was thrilled with the rainbow sponge layers inside. Thank you for such a wonderful service at a reasonable price!

Perfect Vegan delight
Ordered the vegan cupcakes for my twins bday as a surprise for them. The cupcakes reached on time and beautifilly packedm. They loved every bite of it. Shall surely come back for more.
Only suggestion, I would have is to include the tags for different flavors.

Not worth dying over - Dangerous and disastrous chocolate cake
Cake was delivered on time and ordering was easy. I even sent a note asking them to leave off the candy bar that had almonds which they did. We have nut allergies. I was very careful to make sure that the rest of the cake was nut free including hazelnuts in the listed ingredients. Unfortunately, on the day the cake fell apart when cutting it and 3 people had an allergic reaction to it because the chocolate used in the frosting contained hazelnut. Several people at the party who are not allergic confirmed a very strong presence of hazelnut. Needless to say the cake was seriously dangerous and a sad ending to my 10 year olds birthday party since she was horribly sick all night.
Even worse was Andrew's reaction to this review. He called me and emailed me to try and get me to take this down. Never once did he ask if everyone was ok or apologise for the mistake. He's a big bully and you should really think hard about giving your business to someone who doesn't really care about the welfare of his customers.

I have checked this order and it appears the disclaimer for allergies was selected 'DISCLAIMER: I confirm that the receiver of the above products has no allergies. I have read the ingredients, dietary and allergen information on each product and would like to proceed with my order.'
I have also checked the webchat and the request to 'leave off the Daim bars' was adhered to and followed up by the staff in the bakery, however this chat did not make any reference that this request was due to an allergy. Having reviewed this information it is clear that the CBA team were not made aware of any allergies by the customer.
