My car was damaged when being recovered by them. Large dent on front of car. They did not inform me of damage and then my keys went "missing" for several days. I went to pick car up from my garage after several days and saw the damage. Took six weeks to investigate the claim. The keys were miraculously found at the last minute ! They refused to replace the keys until they had investigated at first even though their recovery agent had lost them. Offered to fix damage on car after six weeks by towing to a town 30 miles away. Car was drivable. I phoned them and they said they were just checking if I was "amenable" to this even though they told me it was final decision letter ! Eventually fixed locally with a company car for me. Do not use these guys. Start rescue use their services. The customer service team were friendly and polite / helpful but any problems the claims dept are not and just want rid of you

Fixed my car at home with no fusss

Quickly answered my call and Comfort called me regularly to make sure I was ok as I was on my own. Very efficient service. Regular updates on when help was arriving. Only took just over an hour for help to arrive to transport myself and my car to my nominated garage and then dropped me home(live near garage.)
Could not fault their response and was very impressed with their customer service. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a cut on my front of side tyre on a early Sunday morning. The customer service was great and the response time was quick, less than an hour. The recovery recommended me a good garage, after the one I initially had looked up was actually closed. The recommended garage gave me a good deal on the trye.

I had a broken altenator pulley first thing in the morning on school run. Got stranded. The rescue operator arrived within a hour, as promised, diagnosed the issue correctly and then towed my car to the nearest garage that would accept the repair. All with no fuss and complete professionalism and expertise. Cannot recommend highly enough. Costs much less than big names like AA or RAC or Greenflag, but provides a A-class service nonetheless.

Absolutely brilliant. First time using the app but it worked brilliantly. Cant fault it.

I found my experience very good, I would have given 5star but I had to wait 3hours for the tow truck which normally wouldn't be to much of an issue but it was 12am before it arrived and being a 72 year old woman with health issues and being alone I found it quite daunting, but otherwise the recovery man was very apologetic and very polite. So thank you to all.

This review is slightly different to the rest, I am an established employee (Steve H) working at the company for over ten years now, and I can honestly say we all try our best to help anyone in need. Not everything is perfect, that is life after all, however we have a comprehensive setup of supervisors and managers etc and because of our experience and good communication we all come together to get the job done for the customer.

Five stars for a company that will always go above and beyond as a team to help its customers and team members alike. Good communication and a really friendly team - thank you Call Assist:)

Repair man diagnosed alternator intermittent failure and helped me arrange a repair. I broke down on a busy road and managed to roll and push the car to safety and then get it restarted and drove home. When I found out, the following morning, that the garage would not help for a week I phoned StartRescue as a non-urgent text and they sent someone from CallAssist within a couple of hours. The repair man could not have been more helpful and polite. He diagnosed my problem as a failing alternator even though the voltage output was satisfactory when he tested it. He could smell the burning and fit it to my story of what had happened. He had a suggestion for a mobile mechanic and shared his contact details with me. The mobile mechnanic sourced a refurbished alternator and fitted it by early afternoon of the day when I started the call to StartRescue in the morning

Technician communicated well, arrived on time, was prompt and very competent to identifying the fault. He was both courteous and helpful giving prompt advice and getting me in the road again . I was left very impressed .

Very easy to use app. Updates all the time on the app and could track the recovery trucks journey. Call from driver on the way giving eta as well. Very pleased with quick recovery arrival as dark and very cold and elderly lady on my own apart from my dog. Soon got me started and on my way and follow up call by start to see that I got home ok

When had a flat tyre from home a recovery truck arrived in just over an hour and I was telephoned to update me on when they would arrive. Great service.

My car was involved in an accident and I called upon start Rescue for the first time in many years of diligent membership, I was not disappointed.

within the hour my car was transported home by a very friendly and customer orientated recovery operator. I cannot thank him enough!

Excellent service, quick auction efficient even escorting me too a recommended garage to get a new tyre at a reasonable price.

They came out quickly on a Saturday morning after I got a puncture on the motorway. I had managed to just get off the motorway into a layby on a secondary road but still felt vulnerable. The technician was confident and quickly changed the wheel to the emergency saver wheel, having first ensured it was fully inflated. He advised me on where I may be able to get a new tyre nearby. Great service!

Everything was on time, staff on the phone was very polite and professional, the recovery driver same very professional and try to help
