Callout mate  

Call Out Mate were fantastic! I have a 19 month old baby and my Fuse Box was not working so we were close to being in darkness overnight; no lighting, heating etc with electricians not being able to come out until the next day or two. An electrician (Idrees) was in attendance within 4 hours and sorted everything out! I now have light, heat etc all back on again! Thank you so much Idrees as well as the lady I spoke to; both of which were highly professional and very reassuring.

I was called on a Saturday afternoon by callout mate to help an OAP who had a leak in her bathroom, we agreed a payment of £70+vat. I did the job very promptly & efficiently, but have not been paid, callout mate will have demanded money up front from the OAP, callout mate are conmen of the highest degree !

Everything I try will not work

I'm happy with the phone and the deal I got from the company.

Do not use Callout Mate under any circumstances.
They charged £227 to send out an absolutely cowboy to my house to mend the boiler. He charged me a further £200, didn't fix it and left it pouring with water into electrics. Callout Mate and then the Express Boilers company then claimed another part had broken and wanted to charge me more. Dreadful company.

My shower wasn't working called this company and asked for plumber. They sent electrician who couldn't fix it. Charged £227 for nothing , have emailed a complaint, not had the decency to reply. Rubbish service, rip off. Beware!!!

I was worried about using this company because some of the reviews on here but I phoned up in the morning because I had a problem with the boiler not working, and a plumber came in the afternoon, identified the issue and fixed it, now I have heating and hot water working again.

thank you to the call out mate team, full electrical tripping issue at my elderly parents house - no power to sockets or lights for over 24 hours was a rather stressful situation as I live over 5 hours away. Came across this company and I'm glad I did, same day resolve, professional attitude, kept me in the loop and got everything back up and running for my parents. Thank you again David

Leaking boiler Saturday morning, trying to get a plumber out same day was so difficult all saying Monday which I of course couldn’t wait until - called these guys, they were great so helpful I was called an hour later with an update and under 2 hours the plumber was at my door! Boiler all fixed no more leaking, this was a great service from start to finish - thank you to all involved

Call-out Mate are shocking fraudsters.
They took our money on an emergency plumbing call out on Saturday morning for a job that day. The plumber did not arrive that day or the next day. Two days later I spent hours trying to get them to answer the telephone and only when I used a different number (my daughters phone) did I get through. We had to pay another plumber to do the emergency work and the scammers have still not refunded my money. Blatant fraud. It is now in the hands of my banks fraud squad. Be warned.

Very easy-sorted out a local plumber very quickly. Great communication with him and the problem was very quickly sorted. All stress free.

During the recent very cold weather has frozen pipes I called this company who guarantee a plumber that day I paid their fee and awaited the plumber despitevarious calls no plumber appeared I was contacted and a small refund of the fee was made with a guaranteed next day service I waited all days and made at least 60 calls and was fobbed off eventually gave up I then contacted my bank and claimed my money back via the scam team this action was successful but I would warn anyone to avoid this company at all costs I would never use them again even in emergency

Got sent to a call out and was told I'd be paid the following Friday. This was 2 weeks ago and they keep calling with jobs to do. Still not been paid.

Edit, calloutmate why are you trying to say this never happened to me? You've expressed concern that I'm lying about this. I can forward the text messages received from your colleague and I can forward my original invoice that I sent to you. This did happen and I am still waiting to be paid.

I phoned and booked an emergency boiler engineer. I paid over £220 over the phone. The engineer came 2 days later. I would not recommend this service.

I phoned the company at 11.30am and was told that someone would attend in 2-3hrs. In the end Richard attended at 7:15pm, but I understand that people have other prior jobs and that sometimes these take longer than anticipated.

Richard was polite and got the job done, even though it was tricky. I proveded the parts ready for him.

I would probably consider paying with credit card if doing the same again given the awful reviews.

Overall I was pleased and service could only be improved by being faster.

My sink had been blocked for ages, messing with it all over Christmas. Somebody came in and we thought it was done but a few days later it started blocking again.

The young chap from this company came in, checked it all out. Then said vacuum hopefully will deal with this. Brought a big cleaner in stuck it down the short pipe from the sink, went out and shook the pipe and we virtually heard it clear.
Great service, no mess, just did what was needed.

Appalling,con-artists,rip-off,scammers,shocking service I wish I had read the previous reviews before I booked this company for my 84yearold mother in-law whose gas boiler/central heating went off during the recent cold weather.People are struggling with the cost of living and energy prices especially OAPS living on their own,so to charge a 84year old £227 and not solve the problem is a absolute disgrace.BE WARNED KEEP WELL CLEAR

Made an appointment for boiler repair - before I even got a call back, they tried charging my credit card £227! I will report them to the proper authorities!
