Both me and my husband got our driving lessons from Sab. He was able to cover all the topics for the tests and even the test routes within 4 days and one of us passed in one attempt, while the other passed after the first attempt without further training required.

I recently passed my driving test
I recently passed my driving test, and I owe it all to Mr. Asif from CDA. He is truly a kind-hearted, honest, and dedicated instructor—an outstanding example of what every driving trainer and examiner should be. From the very first lesson, he made me feel confident and supported, patiently guiding me through every step with professionalism and encouragement.
What sets Mr. Asif apart is not just his excellent teaching skills, but his genuine care for his students. On the day of my test, he even prayed for my success—and I genuinely believe I passed because of his support, both technically and spiritually.

Excellent instructor
Learning to drive with Özcan was an excellent experience. He was my third instructor, and from the very first lesson, I could see the difference. His calm and professional approach, combined with his friendly attitude, made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. He has a great way of explaining things clearly and patiently, which really helped me build my confidence on the road. Thanks to his guidance, I now feel much more capable and at ease while driving. I had driving lessons with Ozcan
I had driving lessons with Ozcan Yildirim, and I’m writing this review because I felt intimidated and frightened by his behavior. He raised his voice and used an aggressive tone, which made me very anxious—especially because I’m still a beginner and early in my driving journey.
A driving instructor should be patient, calm, and professional. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite. What upset me most was hearing unprofessional phrases like “there is something wrong with you.” That is not okay and it made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
Because of this experience, I would not recommend him to beginner learners, especially women who may feel more vulnerable in this situation.

Noor is a great instructor
Noor is a great instructor.
Had my lessons with Noor, who taught me over the course of about 20 lessons. At the end of the lessons I had the confidence to drive well, and I passed my driving exam on the first try.
Noor was very straightforward, but also very reassuring, from the initial stages of teaching me the ins and outs of driving, to finally making me road ready. I would definitely recommend Noor, and CDA for lessons in Cambridge.

100% Recommended - First Time Pass
100% been an experience I will always, undoubtedly recommend. My driving instructor, Elnara Babayeva, the kindest, most patient and supportive driving instructor I’ve ever had, made this commitment to support me throughout this experience. She believed in me, instructed me and guided me better than any instructor I’ve had. I passed first time, with 4 minors, thanks to her. I will always recommend her, and her teaching and guidance if anyone is looking to pass first time.

I highly recommend Sab! I just passed my UK practical driving in my first attempt. Sab’s teaching is exceptional, he's so observant and quickly identified where I needed the most practice, making sure I repeated things until I felt confident. His explanations were always super clear and was really patient throughout. If you're looking for a fantastic instructor, I highly recommend Sab!

Thanks to her encouragement and remarkable teaching, I passed my test on the first attempt with only three minor faults — a result that perfectly reflects her dedication and expertise. I had only two weeks before my exam date, but she took it as a challenge and succeeded brilliantly in only 20hours
I honestly don’t have enough words to thank Meena for being the most wonderful instructor anyone could ask for. In just two short weeks, she taught me not only how to drive but also how to feel calm, confident, and completely at ease behind the wheel. Her patience, skill, and attention to detail are truly exceptional — she notices even the smallest mistakes and gently guides you until everything feels just right.

It was a wonderful experience learning to drive with CDA especially Sab! My lovely instructor!! From the very first lesson, we set our goal and made a good plan to achieve that.Which made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. His teaching style is patient, clear, and tailored to my learning pace, which helped me quickly grasp both basic and advanced driving skills.
What stands out about Sab is his professionalism and calm demeanour, even in stressful traffic situations. He always explained manoeuvres step-by-step and gave constructive feedback, a little bit brutally honest 🤪 that boosted my confidence and never gave false hope . His punctuality and reliability and flexibility around my working hour made scheduling lessons hassle-free.
Thanks to Sab , I am ready for real-world driving. He insisted that rather than getting passed in test ,focus on being a good and safe driver! I highly recommend CDA and Sab to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and friendly driving instructor.

Good instructors, poor customer service
I started driving lessons with CDA under Afzal Aslam and continued with Mohammad Hamayoon Rashidi. Both were competent, helpful instructors and I was able to pass my test first time without any faults. If this review was solely about the instructors, I would have no qualms giving a 5 star rating.
However, dealing with the customer service at CDA itself was like pulling teeth and is the reason I have deducted 2 stars:
-When I first attempted to book a lesson, I was not asked for some contact information until the day before lesson. Though I responded to the email as soon as I got home from work, this was apparently too late. The email did not mention a deadline to respond, nor was I told that they were unable to book the lesson in time, so I wasn't aware there was a problem until the instructor didn't show up the following day. My attempts to reschedule the lesson (which I had already paid for) received no response for over a week until I asked for a refund, at which point they magically perked up and were able to find me a slot.
-From here on, things went well until I had to take an extended break from driving lessons, which resulted in my account on the app being deleted automatically. When I wanted to resume lessons, it took over a week for CDA to respond to my email about getting my account reinstated, and then another week to actually setup the new account as the first attempt failed somehow.
-In November, they decided to discontinue booking through the app and instead moved to booking through their website. This was never officially communicated, so I only found out when I was suddenly unable to book through the app. Fortunately I had another lesson already booked with Hamayoon, so I was able to ask him in person whether there was an issue, but this should have been communicated proactively.
In short, if everything goes well and you only interact with the instructors, you will probably have a good experience. But if you ever need to interact with CDA's customer support, god help you and brush up on your brickwallese.
