Thanks to Mr Rasul, who helped me pass my test in first attempt. Not just that, we did that in a very short notice of 13 days. He has put lots of effort in helping me ace this test and also making me a safe driver. Just amazing.

It was a wonderful experience learning to drive with CDA especially Sab! My lovely instructor!! From the very first lesson, we set our goal and made a good plan to achieve that.Which made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. His teaching style is patient, clear, and tailored to my learning pace, which helped me quickly grasp both basic and advanced driving skills.

What stands out about Sab is his professionalism and calm demeanour, even in stressful traffic situations. He always explained manoeuvres step-by-step and gave constructive feedback, a little bit brutally honest 🤪 that boosted my confidence and never gave false hope . His punctuality and reliability and flexibility around my working hour made scheduling lessons hassle-free.

Thanks to Sab , I am ready for real-world driving. He insisted that rather than getting passed in test ,focus on being a good and safe driver! I highly recommend CDA and Sab to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and friendly driving instructor.

I started driving lessons with CDA under Afzal Aslam and continued with Mohammad Hamayoon Rashidi. Both were competent, helpful instructors and I was able to pass my test first time without any faults. If this review was solely about the instructors, I would have no qualms giving a 5 star rating.

However, dealing with the customer service at CDA itself was like pulling teeth and is the reason I have deducted 2 stars:
-When I first attempted to book a lesson, I was not asked for some contact information until the day before lesson. Though I responded to the email as soon as I got home from work, this was apparently too late. The email did not mention a deadline to respond, nor was I told that they were unable to book the lesson in time, so I wasn't aware there was a problem until the instructor didn't show up the following day. My attempts to reschedule the lesson (which I had already paid for) received no response for over a week until I asked for a refund, at which point they magically perked up and were able to find me a slot.
-From here on, things went well until I had to take an extended break from driving lessons, which resulted in my account on the app being deleted automatically. When I wanted to resume lessons, it took over a week for CDA to respond to my email about getting my account reinstated, and then another week to actually setup the new account as the first attempt failed somehow.
-In November, they decided to discontinue booking through the app and instead moved to booking through their website. This was never officially communicated, so I only found out when I was suddenly unable to book through the app. Fortunately I had another lesson already booked with Hamayoon, so I was able to ask him in person whether there was an issue, but this should have been communicated proactively.

In short, if everything goes well and you only interact with the instructors, you will probably have a good experience. But if you ever need to interact with CDA's customer support, god help you and brush up on your brickwallese.

I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Rasul at Cambridge Driving Academy, and I am thrilled to share that I passed my practical driving test on my first attempt.
Rasul was a fantastic instructor, strict when needed which truly helped me become a better and safer driver. He knows the roads and rules of the area extremely well and he always pointed out the little details that really make a difference during the test and in real-world driving. His pace of teaching was perfect, clear, structured and never rushed. He priorities the students and accommodates the my requirements about the lesson times.
What I particularly appreciated was how he balanced discipline with encouragement, helping me build confidence while ensuring I understood exactly what was expected. i always felt well-prepared for every scenario we practiced.
Overall, this was truly a positive learning experience and I definitely recommend Rasul as an instructor if you want through and high quality guidance. I'd give him and CDA 10 out of 10.

Rasul from CDA has been a brilliant instructor, which is evidenced by my passing the test first time! He's known exactly what to practice, everything to take into account whilst driving around Cambridge, and has been very accommodating with scheduling lessons. He's been patient throughout and has made it a great experience. Many thanks to him!

Rasoul was very good with my son. Very patient and kind. My son developed a good relationship with him and was able to pass his test the second time around. Rasoul kept looking for early dates for his driving test which shows his profesionalism and the fact that he is interested in the pupil and not the money. Highly recommend!

I am so happy having passed the practical driving test on first attempt, and would extend my sincere and huge appreciation to CDA instructor Palwasha. Before learning with Palwasha, I've been troubled with self double while driving although having been practiced for a while. Many thanks to Palwasha who keeps encouraging and assuring to help me build up confidence in my judgement. Palwasha is always calm, gives clear and focused instructions, and prepares training sessions according to my learning situation. I definitely won't be able to pass the test without Palwasha, and would strongly recommend her to all learner drivers!

I had few lessons with Noora. I really recommend her. She is calm, professional, organised. She took me to main road including Milton roundabout from the first lesson. She does not waste time. Her worries to learn toward passing.

Sab was my trainer.
I really appreciate the way he identified the gaps in my driving with respect to UK test needs. Most of the issues were because of my more than 25 years experience of driving in different environment (Country, rules and practices of that place). Sab perfectly identified those issues and worked on them to ensure that I change my practices to meet UK requirements.
This kind of specialized attention and expertise of trainers make CDA really special and reliable.

I switched to Qodsia for a couple lessons before my test. She was very helpful giving me all appropriate knowledge for my driving test and such a joy during my lesson im really going to miss that. I wouldn’t have been able to pass without her encouragement and support for that I am grateful. Thank you Qodsia for getting me my pass certificate.

Sab is an amazing instructor! He’s patient, supportive, and really wants you to do well. He pushes you in the best way so you’re fully prepared and confident. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Ozcan. He’s calm, patient, and always made me feel comfortable. He explained everything in a really simple way and knew exactly what I needed to work on. Thanks to him, I went into my test feeling confident and passed. I just passed my test yesterday with Rasul at CDA as my instructor! I was coming up from London due to the issues with booking tests and he was incredibly helpful with accommodating my timings, and was of course a great instructor, guiding me through the new area with expertise!

A very special thank-you to my instructor Elnara, who was extremely professional and patient. Her clear communication and helpful tips were key to my successful pass on the first attempt.

Whenever I had a question, she used to answer it then say "Okay let's go there and have attempt there".

She was also incredibly kind — she managed to find me an earlier test slot through her friends, saving me an additional three months of waiting. She did all of that completely free of charge, while others would have asked for a lot of money.

I truly appreciate her support and highly recommend her to anyone preparing for their test.
