For a first time user we found the whole process straightforward and easy to understand and navigate. Van owner replied straight away and answered our questions then booked and all done within the day I started. We was also surprised how many vans are available in each pick up location

A Great adventure in Jayco Expanda
Paul was great and very easy to deal with. We contacted him at short notice to hire his Jayco Expanda for 10 days to drive to QLD and he was completely accommodating, making sure the van was ready for us to drive the 3,000 + km journey. The van was in great condition, easy to tow and easy to use and the perfect home away from home for our family of 5.

WARNING: Unconscionable claims process. Do not trust Camplify
Be extremely careful booking through Camplify. After my trip, the platform's automated system processed an unverified damage claim and issued me a bill for $2,433.64. Camplify’s claims team blindly approved this massive amount without performing any basic metadata or quality checks on the documentation.
On the official post-hire checklist, I formally stated that “ Unsure how the damaged happen. Could have been strong winds in Sandy Cape or it may have been when packing away. Caught in a pinch point”, that is not admission of guilt. Upon reviewing the claim details, it was clear that Camplify's system has a severe vulnerability that allows out-of-date, historical images (clearly date-stamped 13 October from a past period) to be accepted as fresh pre-hire evidence. Camplify completely failed its duty of care to verify this data before targeting a customer for thousands of dollars.
Worse yet, once I exposed the invalid photo dates and Camplify knew the claim was legally unenforceable, they still tried to pressure me via email to pay an arbitrary $500 "settlement fee" to close the file. They only dropped the claim to $0 after I threatened to take the matter to the state tribunal and Consumer Protection.
Camplify refused to refund my "Risk Taker" protection fees. They claimed a casual, good-faith message where I offered to help if it wasn't expensive was an "admission of fault," completely ignoring their own administrative failures and my official checklist denial.
Camplify does not protect the hirer. Lock your credit card after your trip, check all photo dates carefully, and stand your ground if they issue an unverified bill. I will never use this platform again

Experience very good in general
Experience very good in general. Caravan pickup and setdown was easy and the quality of the caravan was good.
My only constructive criticism is regarding the website, specifically finding a van. We found that even though we had put in a certain pickup spot and did a search we would often get vans from all over australia in the search results e.g. we would select Highfields QLd as pickup area and would have vans in WA offered to us. this was a minor annoyance and maybe could be addressed in future site maintenance.
