Easy to use website with one strong…
Easy to use website with one strong recommendation - A hire for 2 days should equate 48hrs, and hirer needs to be advised earlier of pick-up and drop-off arrangements, so that they can schedule THEIR time.
In our circumstance, I am to pick up Van tomorrow morning (Saturday) but still don't know where or when I can do this?
After pick-up, I must come back home to pack gear into van, then we must drive to the country for a luncheon, and this will be on a tight schedule if the morning pick-up is difficult or cant be done until later in the morning.
Additionally, we are hiring the van for 2 days.
I would expect 48hrs of hire, but it seems I will be constrained to pick up Saturday (Some time?), and must return it Sunday (Some time?), that's not 2 days hire! We only need it to sleep in Saturday night.
Returning the van Monday morning (Same time as I picked up Saturday) would equate to 2 full days hire and allow us to enjoy the weekend fully.
Vendor advises that to do this, I must pay a third days hire, primarily revolving around insurance limitations it was said? Seems unreasonable and something a risk assessor should be able to navigate around, if they are any good at their job!
Just link the insurance to the hire time frame within a date window, instead of strictly date to date.

MISLEADING AND EXPLOITATIVE
We were exploited by the owner to replace a visibly worn and perished handle after it broke THE FIRST time we opened the door less than one hour into our hire. When we questioned the responsibility falling to us he said “are you being righteous or are you guys short on money?!”. Camplify was absolutely no help although no instructions on handover were given not to use the handle to open the door. Although we reported this to Camplify with receipts and pictures we were told we have to seek compensation through the owner, who is clearly the reason we had to reach out to camplify at all. They also don’t mind that we were threatened with drop off fees because the van was not located in the same city it was listed as NOR that the owner wanted us to pick it up a day early AND pay extra insurance costs because it was more convenient for him due to personal commitments on our first hire day.
UPDATE: There has been no attempt from Camplify to contact me let alone rectify the exploitation that occurred via their platform. Camplify have also failed to ensure the van listing be updated to the CORRECT city and are therefore continuing to allow platform users to be misled.

This was the second time I hired this…
This was the second time I hired this campervan. This time we hired this campervan for 4 days and took it on a road trip to Bright, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The van was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our trip. It was easy to drive, reliable on both highways and mountain roads, and surprisingly spacious for cooking and relaxing after a day of exploring.
The owners were friendly, helpful, and made the whole pickup and drop-off process smooth and stress-free. We loved the freedom of being able to cook our own meals and wake up surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Overall, it was a great experience and played a big part in making our trip memorable. We would definitely hire this campervan again and highly recommend it to anyone planning an adventure around Victoria.
