I bought a brand new Canon PIXMA T8352a…
I bought a brand new Canon PIXMA T8352a at the weekend 2/2/2024. I set it up printed about 20 pages and the ink was showing almost out for the CYan and very low for the amount of use 20 pages. Trying to get Customer service is a JOKE. eventually got a person Sophie on the chat BOT who said Quote " When the printer is first installed, there is no ink is present in the chambers of the print head. Therefore, when the ink tanks are installed the print head chambers will automatically be filled. This is not failure it is a necessary initial sequence only when installation is carried out. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Gareth (2/6/2024, 11:57:25 AM): Yes I want some ink to last me more than 2 days of very little printing
Sophia P (2/6/2024, 11:58:15 AM): You will have to replace the inks and the next ink will not last for so short period of time. Unfortunately, there is nothing else that we can advise."
3 camera's 3 different battery's 3 different chargers
I have 3 canon camera's each need a different battery and also that means 3 charger as well. My latest camera an R8 supposed to charge the battery in the camera via USB port. but doesn't.
AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE ........
AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE ......... I tried for EIGHT HOURS to get my new Canon printer installed. Their customer service is a joke. One link takes you to another and another and another until you land up where you started. Nothing is of any help whatsoever. Loads of videos on You Tube suggests that a huge number of people are having problems. I cannot even get this thing registered and without it the installation can't function. What I have bought is something that's just masquerading as a printer. It doesn't even make a decent ornament THE WORST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHT in 76 years.
I had a tricky technical issue.
I had a tricky technical issue.
I spoke to a young man from Greece, who was extremely helpful and patient - talking me through the many steps to resolve the issue, thank-you!
I was delighted to be able to speak directly with someone so well informed.
Many thanks to him and to Canon.
DO NOT BUY FROM CANON
Last year, I received a quote from Canon for an A3 scanner valued at nearly £3000. However, upon receiving the package, I discovered they had sent an A4 scanner instead. When I reached out to complain and request a return, they informed me I could keep the scanner or dispose of it. Despite this, Canon continued to send invoices and call my personal number, harassing me regarding the incorrect product they sent without prior notification, which violates my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Canon cashback is a scam
So, I purchased a new L series lens during the holiday season. Canon claimed that they would return a cashback of 260 pounds for the item that I got.
Almost 2 months later, I still did not get my money and I keep getting ridiculous reasons from their customer service.
Firstly, they asked for my Revolut account, I copied all the details. Several weeks later, it was rejected and they said that it was because it was a Revolut account (excuse me?).
I've filled in my regular bank account. I called after a month, and apparently, I only started the process after calling customer support (the Transaction status changed to "Reissued"), they told me it should arrive in a couple of days.
10 days later, I decided to call them again, now they're saying that they have some new stupid rule that I need to enter a lot of my personal data (full name, address, residence, employment, occupation, and so on), in order to proceed. Apparently, they have also forgotten to even ask me for it and only did it when I called.
This whole cashback takes forever and seems like a big scam to do it in a fishy way when it's too annoying for customers to get the cashback.
I was a big Canon fan until this, very disappointed, and still waiting for my money,
Don’t buy Cannon Printers
Bought 2 Cannon Printers the last 1 being a Pixma 3650S. The first 1 was OK. The second absolute junk. Probably printed 20 pages properly and then a whole succession of different problems. Destined for landfill! Don’t buy Cannon Printers
About ready to throw my PIXMA out the…
About ready to throw my PIXMA out the window. Won't feed paper when printing, but if I want to photocopy, no problem.
How we're stuck with this trash hardware, UX and apps in 2024 is beyond me.
Absolutely rage inducing experience.
Canon's Repeat and Save
Enrolled in Canon's Repeat and Save service for computer ink. Followed guidelines to skip January order. Not only did they disregard this, they sent out substitute costing nearly £30 more. I've emailed twice today and the only response I've had is a triumphant email telling me they're delighted my order has been dispatched 😠. Shocking customer 'service' and I'm done with them

Bought a cannon mg3600 what a pile of crap doesn't work half the time got mind of it's own eats ink just a complete waste of money trying to run a business not this junk machine I won't needs a sledge hammer taking to it don't waste your money
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
I own a Canon MG5750, from day 1 it has always struggled to feed paper, which makes using the printer a pain so have always been reluctant to use it unless for emergencies so on top of any current emergency I have the hassle of wrestling with this piece of junk
Avoid Canon printers like the plague
Wish I had read the reviews before purchase
Order Canon EOS 200 D camera
Order Canon EOS 200 D camera, website indicated that order could be canceled before dispatched, As delivery was stated 1 to 3 days I cancelled the order by email before dispatched, next thing was a notification saying order has been dispatched.
Avoid buying from Canon direct!
Really bad customer services, two phone calls before dispatch and an email, customer services were not interested or helpful.
Not delivering and asking for a review
I ordered laser printer cartridge 6 weeks ago and paid £145 upfront. To date it has not been delivered and they have sent me customer review request. The laser printer itself is average. They take the money and do not deliver. You need to be careful about this company; it is wrong to assume that name of the company matters
Order lost in post … Canon cannot cope with this!
Interesting to read reviewers comments about products etc. I can’t even do that, as I’m still awaiting delivery of the lens I ordered after nearly 4 weeks. Tracking info dried up before UPS admitted they’d actually lost it! Canon said they’d escalate, but after emails and a phone call they have today said they will refund my money… as long as I return the product to them. Doh, it never arrived! Their process cannot cope with this, however. Next step is a Section 75 claim via the credit card company. Avoid Canon at all costs!
Canon printer TS6200 ink cartridge failures
My Canon printer TS6200 has become a useless pile of junk as the own brand cartridges break way too often on the front clip (4 times so far) so the printer "doesn't recognise the cartridge" and I can do no printing. It's a useful place for my coffee mug and it gathers dust; else it's a total waste of money.
Purchased a Canon Pixma MG3600 3 months…
Purchased a Canon Pixma MG3600 3 months ago - BIG mistake! Although a nice looking printer - don't be fooled. Printing is slow, especially two sided which is agonisingly slow with huge pauses between sides as if it's broken. Driver wont install as it hits a dead end when it asks to use the usb cable (but no cable is provided) and there's no usb slot to connect to on the printer anyway. Working out what the buttons do is hit and miss - there are no explanations. I tried to scan a document and ended up pulling my hair out in frustration. THERE IS NO SCAN BUTTON!!! WHY NOT?? I had to look up youtube videos and they don't know either. Apparently, 3 options to do this but all are way too complicated. I tried uploading the CANON app - which is a ball-ache to use. No instructions and the CD ROM failed to install. Even though this is wireless - it still requires a wire to start it off (but it's not provided.)
CANON - try making it easy for your customers and put SCAN beside a scan button - others do it and it's simple to use. Unless you sort these bits out, I wont buy CANON again.
Canon pixma tr4550
Canon pixma 4550. Had it about a year, eats ink at £60 a go, get about 80 pages from that. Only use black and white but have to replace both. Keeps bleeping and telling you wrong paper size loaded even though it isn’t. Temperamental, 50% of the time it simply doesn’t work. Paper difficult to load even following instructions to the letter. Worst ever printer and it now where it belongs. In landfill
I WILL NEVER BUY CANON AGAIN
I see why they have such bad reviews!
I myself just had a similar experience.
I have just purchased a new Canon printer GX7050 that won't stay on for more than 5 minutes even though I've set it to never turn off. The pleasant lady at Canon asked me to unplug the printer at the socket then to press the on button 5 times. No error code came up after turning it back on. So, because I purchased it from someone else other than Canon that's all she could do for me. No more help!!!
Such poor customer service
TM-200 Don't buy this unless you have a no limit credit card
Biggest waste of money ever.
Printer is now about 2 years old. Cost about £900 plus vat
When I bought the printer it produced good quality work like I expected.
I didn't use it very often and when next came to use it said print head failure.
Printer was just out of warranty and I argued with customer services several times and they eventually replaced the print head free of charge. I was told that if I don't use the printer the head dries up and fails, I couldn't find any reference to that in the instructions. Once the machine logs a fail on that print head no amount of cleaning, replacing etc. will clear the fault.
Fitted the new print head only to be told no ink left. So the original cartridges had only printed about 2 square metres.
£360 later and the printer is printing again.
Whenever I print I always lift the front cover to check all is OK, rather than printing until it drops out the front, what use is an inspection window if you can't see through it?. If there was a light in there it would be great. On one job I noticed the paper was curling front left hand side. As soon as you lift the cover the printer stops, so I reached inside to straighten the edge so it would feed correctly. The print head suddenly moved striking my hand and after that always came up with hardware error. So back to square one we need a print head, this time I wasn't going to pay £300 on a print head so I got a cheapy from China at £65, fitted it and it said wrong print head for this model, fitted the old faulty one back in and it is accepted only to say maintenance tray full. At this stage I have only printed 20 sq. metres and still on my first set of bought ink. £60 later new maintenance cart fitted and message says no black ink, I had a spare so this went in, another £80. Now on a test print I get bad results, error code suggests head management sensor unit and won't recognice any print head. Ink levels are right down at minimum already
Canon want £262 plus vat before they even look at it, parts extra
When I replaced the maintenance cartridge I weighed it against the new one, it was 314 grams heavier. Based on the weight of water that would be 314 ml of ink, that's 2.5 of my new cartridges wasted for whatever reason.
Worst printers on the market!
Worst printers on the market!
Gave them fair chance as purchased twice in a row.
There won't be a third and i will now refer to ALL Canon products as inferior.
