As I have been working on a series of linked subject matter I suddenly realised I would complete the present design and would need additional canvases. I ordered from canvas store while it was on my mind before lunch and although I was informed that delivery could be between 4 to 7 days the order was delivered two mornings later. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

Canvas Store had all the sizes I needed at a fair price.

Used to be very good but I ordered 2 boxes of canvases in September and I am still waiting for a tracking number more than 2 weeks later. Different agents answer my email queries but dont get back to me and still no tracking number. Are they all AI now, I wonder? I have now asked for a refund but no response. I will be getting my canvases elsewhere in future.

As a keen Amateur painter I purchased a pack of three very large (1 mtr square) canvasses from Canvas Store. The canvasses were made by Loxley. They arrived and after a couple of months I had painted on all three Canvases. I decided to frame all three canvases as I think they look better in a shadow frame. I set about to make the frames, two of which fitted perfectly. However one canvass was so out of square i could not fit it into the frame. I checked each corner with a carpenters set square and sure enough the whole frame was out of square. I sent a message to The Canvas Store, as that is the company I had the contract of purchase with, with some photos to illustrate the amount each corner was out of square, and also explaining that the other two canvases in the pack of three were perfectly square after painting. The Canvas Store contacted Loxley who replied to the Canvas Store, not prepared to do anything about the out of square canvas I had purchased, saying it was because the canvas had warped due to the painting and there was nothing they would do for me. So are they saying their canvases are not fit for purpose? If you paint on the canvas it is likely to go out of square? They sell them as painting canvases. Not at all happy so in future folkes always check your canvas before you paint on them just in cased you have to return them. Not very impressed as what I think is a good painting is a total loss at a cost of £40 for the one canvas.
