A technician came in this morning to replace our 17-year old dishwasher with a brand new Bosh model. He was very courteous, effective, with great attention to details, and very competent. He overcame a few challenges replacing an old technology with a new one with great success. Overall a great experience.

They diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and repaired the broken pieces only to learn that the drum was leaking and was irreparable...after the fact. We're out $200 for labour plus we have to buy a new washer. Very disappointing.

My bottom-freezer mounted refrigerator was leaking water on 2 occasions over a 2 week period and I needed assistance with it. George came (June 30) and was very knowledgeable and corrected the issue. The appliance works great now! He was extremely competent and had a friendly manner ! I would recommend his services to anyone !

I don’t give 5 Stars easily or often but will give 5 Stars when it is due as it is here. My online request for service was followed up the same day with a phone call from the Dispatcher to discuss my issue and book a service appointment. Rony arrived promptly on the day and time of the appointment (wearing a good mask and gloves given Covid 19). VERY impressed by Rony: he was courteous, very interested in the problem I was having and knowledgeable and informative about potential issues that he would explore. Rony worked quickly to test out my machine and target the issue and the repair that was needed. Rather than feeling like I didn’t have a clue, Rony treated me with courtesy and respect and kept me informed all along the way. What really impressed me was his knowledge and sincere interest in solving my issue and fixing my appliance. I was left feeling that I had received honesty and value for money from this company and I will not hesitate to call them again.

Pavlo was amazing. We will always use this company from now on because of him. He was quick, efficient but also very friendly and informative.

$170 for 20 minutes seems excessive. I was told by the office when I booked, that the estimate of total cost would be $70 no matter what which would be deducted from total price of fixing a dishwasher that would not drain if I went ahead. But I was not given an estimate of total price before the job was finished and for 20 minutes of excellent work (done well and to my satisfaction) it was $170 plus tax (which was reduced to $ $169.50 including tax when I complained that it seemed too high). This amounts to $450 per hour! I was never informed that the cost would be this much or what it would be until the job was finished. There needs to be better communication about what a good job will cost if the hourly rate is going to be so high.

Called on a Thursday, tech (Vladimir) came out on Saturday morning and looked at unit to see problem. He described problem, had the solution to fix and scheduled a time on Monday to come out to fix. He arrived on time and had the unit fixed in a timely manner. He was very detailed in explaining what he was repairing and the cost. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend to others. An amazing technician and someone very particular about the quality of his work.

Excellent response (on a long weekend). Phoned in the AM, technician arrived mid afternoon, spent 40 minutes with our 30-year old washer and got it up and running with a temporary fix, with the permanent solution to follow later this week.

I called yesterday for a leak under my fridge. I had a technician today at 10am. He did the repair in 1.5 hour. I was impressed, especially as I did not expect to get someone during this time of coronavirus.

Dispatcher was friendly and honest. The technician showed up during the slotted time, made the correct diagnosis, picked up parts and had my fridge up and running the same day. Quick, honest, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Pavlo was excellent. He was responsive and accommodating, even coming on a Saturday (twice) so that my partner and I did not have to miss work. He was knowledgeable and honest, and of course, very capable. Our washing machine is running like new again. I will definitely use Pavlo and Capital Appliance Repair again in the future
