Booked in for a test drive , no car !

Booked in for a test drive , as soon as I got there I could see the place was poorly managed when shown to the back entrance right into the office by a worker who was having a cigarette outside and proceeded to blow the smoke right into my face ! Inside wasn’t much better , queues at reception and 1 worker struggling to manage it- waited 15 mins past my appointment time and was taken back into the office only to be told that the sales man I was meeting ‘ hadn’t turned up ‘ and ‘ no one knows where he is - we thought he was out on the drive with you ‘ !?! Worse than this was then told that the car I’d booked to view was at a completely different site and that they could get it there in 25 minutes from another location ( highly unlikely ) - nice enough staff who tried to help but their systems and process appear disconnected - didn’t want to waste any more of my time and didn’t like the chaotic vibe in there ! Won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Will use again. Thanks

Only talked to staff over the phone and was unable to see vehicle or test drive so had to take staff at their word. They were all great and vehicle was as described over the phone so trust was a huge part of this deal for me. Only reason I gave 4stars and not 5 was due to the car being delivered a day earlier than agreed which meant me having to leave work early but heck, it was worth it. Thanks again all.

After writing a poor review I think it…was right for praise when praise was due

After writing a poor review I think it only fight to say when things have been put right. Mash in customer services got in touch after my review and I informed him of the problem and he said he would sort it. After he was given some incorrect information by ah office, I was able to provide him with the evidence to support my claim. He kept me informed of the procedures taking place and not long after my issue with the company was resolved. The company would do well to employ more dedicated employees like Mash.

Bought a car from Car Planet Watford in…

Bought a car from Car Planet Watford in February and have been extremely disappointed with the aftersales service. The engine warning light came on, the oil level dropped significantly.

Despite repeatedly contacting them, messages were often read but not answered, and I spent days chasing updates and promised callbacks that never came.

My biggest issue is not just the fault itself, but the poor communication and lack of support when reporting what could be a serious mechanical problem. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

Avoid them at all costs!

I purchased what I thought was my dream car from this dealership and initially couldn’t have been more excited. However, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare.

I was driving home from Watford to the very top of Scotland when, shortly after leaving, the low oil warning light came on (big oil leak)– despite being told the car had received a “fresh service” before collection. Based on what happened, I seriously question whether this service was actually carried out.

When I contacted the dealership, I was told to take the car to a garage through their warranty provider. Unfortunately, the warranty proved to be practically useless, as many garages don’t even deal with it. I also felt pressured into taking out the RAC warranty during the sale.

Due to these issues, I exercised my legal right to reject the vehicle within the first 30 days. The dealership agreed to collect the car, but since then I’ve been given excuse after excuse about finding someone to travel to Scotland to collect it. This is particularly frustrating considering they had no problem telling me during the sale that they could deliver the car to Scotland the very next day for an additional £1,000.

Communication has now completely broken down, and I am having to involve my finance company and legal action to resolve the matter.They are just holding me back from my refund to find another car for my young family ,hoping I’ll change my mind.

Extremely disappointing experience. I would strongly advise potential customers to do their research before purchasing from this dealership.

VERY POOR AFTERSALES AND INABILITY TO…

VERY POOR AFTERSALES AND INABILITY TO RESOLVE A SIMPLE ISSUE.
I Agreed purchase subject to a damaged key being replaced and a few other minor issues.
Was told car was ready however when I arrived to collect I discovered the key was not working , was waiting and waiting for them to make a decision on the key as it could not be repaired , was there 4.5 hours trying to get them to replace a key that I established from a google search could be done the next day. While I was waiting car got damaged and then had to be taken away for 4 days to be repaired and returned. In this time they failed to get the key replaced. I agreed to come back a week later as I was away at a specific time however I chased the day before to be told " We have arranged someone to come out however it won't be this week, they will be in touch next week"
This was the last straw for me as they have constantly failed to provide what they advertised with the car, keep making lame excuses and don't seem to be able to make any progress with my complaint.
I have given them the option to reimburse me for the key, the car not being as stated as now been repaired from damage they were responsible for, the delays without a car and general time wasted avowing to chase and find out what is going on. I even said I would call a key replacement company to meet them at their premises so it can be carried out and they can pay them direct, a service that was next day.
In addition they are also unable to update me on the paperwork that was meant to be supplied with the car and at their other site.
I should be a priority but I am still waiting for the second key and when it will be replaced and they are not answering my question about the cars paperwork.

Taslim Miah you should be ashamed of your company and it seems I am not the only one with very similar issues of poor customer service after sale, I just wish i had read them before I purchased a car from you.

Their website says " Why Buy from Car Planet?" I am sad to say I find this a very true statement and my advice is read the reviews and avoid this company.

The service was horrible

The service was horrible, I would not recommend anyone to provide a vehicle through Car Planet. The vehicle had lots of mechanical issues, flat tyre, it was delivered dirty smelling of cigarettes after I was promised that it went through a 360 degree full checks. The staff are not friendly I this is the 3rd time I send back the same car for similar issues

It was good with Talha, but other staff members are rude arrogant, they haven’t informed everything about car, because after few days we got penalty post that to pay road tax. They said have done ever

I would like to share some feedback regarding our experience on the day we collected our car from Car Planet Watford.

Overall, we were happy with the service provided by Talha before the purchase. He was professional, helpful, and pleasant to deal with.

However, our experience on the collection day was very disappointing. The staff member who was dealing with us (unfortunately I do not remember his name, but I would recognise him) was rude, dismissive, and appeared uninterested in helping us. While we could see other customers being assisted promptly, we were left waiting for over more then three hours.

We had our young children with us, including our daughter, who was only six years old at the time, and both children had school the next day. We repeatedly explained that we had been waiting a long time and kindly asked if our paperwork and handover could be completed as soon as possible. Despite this, our requests seemed to be ignored. The staff member kept attending to other matters and other customers while our collection remained unfinished.

We even asked other members of staff to speak with him and request that he complete our handover, but there was little improvement. We had planned to visit our place of worship after collecting the car to give thanks to God, but because of the excessive delay, our plans were significantly affected.

What disappointed us most was not only the waiting time but also the way we were spoken to. We felt that the staff member was rude, arrogant, and lacked basic customer service skills. We did not feel valued as customers, and the experience left us very unhappy.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers do not have a similar experience.

Run far away if you are considering…

Run far away if you are considering buying a car from this dealer. What they do well - show used cars and take deposits. What they don't do is due diligence on details such as does the car really have a full service history. Neither the Buying or Sales teams will check the paperwork they're given when they buy it, no, even before handing it over to its new owner. So now they've sold you a car thats not as they described it and you've got to deal with the aftermath of hanging on the phone for an hour to talk to the Aftersales team, fill in a questionnaire why you want to return the car, and sit waiting for a response from them, not just for the cost of the car but also for the years warranty they sold you, as it doesnt come with a year, but now of course you no longer need because you no longer consider the car or company trustworthy. Don't look to buy a car from Car Planet, Croxley Green depot. I also came across a chap picking up his newly bought car. He'd arrived at 10am as agreed and was still there at 1.30 arguing with them because his car should have had 2 keys but they're telling him he has to drive to Barnet, their other depot, to get it, now its his car its his problem. That's the level of their customer after sales care and service. If you go ahead and buy be prepared for it to take anything over 2 hours, I was their for 3 hours, just to sign for my car and pay the difference. The only positive thing about that was it gave me time to ask for hard copies of the paperwork in which I then spotted their error.

Terrible company stay away,poor…

Terrible company stay away,poor customer service,empty promises,they take your money and then avoid all issues,passing the bucket,never ever dealt with such people ,not honest business,i will be going to small claims,shame on you car planet,
Car planet try to justify their actions an conduct but they abused by taking full payment,and then make me wait i week to receive car,when i collected,it was not charged not valeted and had only 2 miles of petrol ,just enough to get to petrol station,despite endless promises that this would all be done,Adding more insults the car was damaged at the rear,which was just done my car planet,after calling manager if took photos and promised it would be sorted,i have this in writing,but despite numerous calls ,unreturned calls,total avoidance they refuse to amend their miskake,if this is not abuse ,then tell me
