The overall service was amazing

The overall service was amazing! Ben and the team are very supportive & professional. They got me the car from Tasmania to Victoria - although it took a while, it was worth the wait - delivery was smooth and quick.

The vehicle is sparkling clean and very well looked after. really recommend Carbar.com.au

There is no reward to your Loyalty

If you are thinking of using CarBar then I would seriously consider your alternative options.

I was looking for a long term lease so, one of the main selling points of CarBar for me was, the longer you keep the same car the company would reward your loyalty by reducing the weekly amounts as the car got older.

Seems a straightforward principal that if you keep hold of an ageing car then the price goes down as a reward for your staying with them and the company not having to lease to someone else.

This company do not know the meaning of the term loyalty, at the start of my deal I was advised what the price would be in years 1, 2 & 3, which to me shows they have already factored in 3 year projections to their business.

I have just got one year into my lease and received news from the company that my weekly payments for years 2 and 3 are going up by over $200.00 a month.

Not only will I be paying more in year 2 than year 1, but I will also be paying more in year 3 than year 1 for a car which is now 2 years older than when I started.

If this is anyone's idea of loyalty, then I clearly don't understand the definition.

Shocking company with shocking principals.

Car was advertised for sale through the…carsales.com.au

Car was advertised for sale through the Carsales.com.au and was advertised by carsales with full inspection. I purchased the car online trusting that the inspection papers were correct. However they were not and there was cleanliness problems in the vehicle and approximately 50 paint chips over the front and bonnet of the car. It also took over 3 weeks for them to put the registration into my name despite being told it had been done. It took numerous unanswered phone calls and then the carbar Melbourne office did the registration. They are not interested with the issues of the car and have and dont like to take after sales phone calls. Im still not sure at this stage who was the most dishonest over the deal carbar or carsales but I imagine it is both working together. My online enquiries since have also revealed that I am not the only person who has been conned and I guess wont be the last.

Good Sale SERVICE but very UNFAIR!

I like the car subscription and the facility to get the car and the service during the period I had the car.
The process of delivery and exchange car is very unfair.
Despite a loyalty of 2 years with the company and using the same car, the company decided to charge me for car minor damages regardless of the fair wear and tear as mentioned in their contract (with no proof that I was the one who did this damages as there was no photo taken at the delivery (only at their depot and not even same angle) but there was photos taken only at pick up) - they did not even give me the time to take my own photo at pick up. So their excuse is I signed the agreement contract so I was aware of car conditions.
Anyway, my point of view is they care about selling which they do well, but they don't care about loyalty which is a shame.

My advice is be extremly careful with car condition when you receive it, note everything you can ad take your own photos even if the delever guy is in a rush and even if it rains... otherwise that may cost you money!!!

Avoid Carbar!

Avoid Carbar!
If only 0 stars were an option
After notifying car bar 16 times over a 48 day period that my car was in need of repair and unroadworthy due to bald tyres and later a chipped windscreen (that spread across the entire windscreen over weeks)
I could not get a response or would only get a promise of a call back that never came !
I was told I could not authorise new tyres or repair myself so was left with an unroadworthy unsafe car.
I had to enter into a new lease just to get a roadworthy car at my expense of a further $1393 but was then charged for both vehicles because I handed the original car back in an unroadworthy state!!! I was expected to pay for new tyres, new windscreen and both leases ongoing until fixed.
Carbar have been unresponsive until they thought I owed them money and have hounded me to the point of harassment since.
Carbar had my debit card details on file from a previous lease years ago so took it upon themselves to take money from my account without consent after I disputed the costs and lack of service.
Stay Away or get away from this company as fast as you can!

Good experience

Good experience, with genuine sales people. Easy process to finalise the purchase. SJ followed through on the agreed terms of sale, and was attentive.

Down Under

Communication from the team was great and car was delivered as promised at the right time. My only negative is that the car I originally selected and paid for was not available

The Carbar app wasn’t the greatest to navigate & took time to load details.
The service once everything was finalised was very hands on & I had a great representative Ben Coates liaise with me regularly & I am very happy with my new car.

Great selling experience

I sold my car to carbar. Everything they said on their website they followed through on. They made the process really easy to work through and I was very happy with the result.
