This is is a scam website. I too was contacted by "Thomas" who would only trust this repost and then would definitely buy my car. So other people know he contacted on the number 07465 278 080. Don't give them your details or money
Selling a car on gumtree, I had a text from Paul on 07465 278251 saying he would buy the car but needed a report from Car Check Lab. I sent him one from a different reputable company but he rejected it and insisted I use Car Check Lab. Not sure how this scam works but it certainly is one. Also see other 1* reviews about this. Needles to say I did not pursue the sale or the report.

Can’t believe I got stung on this… put car up for sale on gumtree…a supposed very interested buyer confirmed travel plans to view the car but requested a car check lab report prior to purchase which I provided at a cost of £40….

If you have a car for sale they'll phone up and ask that you get their inspection report done. With that kind of scamming you cannot possibly trust any service provided by this company.

I am selling my car this person got in touch wanted to buy.after initial condition and any issues questions he asked me to Send him cl report for the car this was very strange it's the buyer who gets the report,I sent him the report from DVLA and another free check company,he insisted that I get the report from carchecklab and he will pay me back when he collects the car,carchecklab price 33 pounds way to high comparing to other companies.I was suspicious what if he doesn't turn up I loose my money.I strongly believe it was inside job to

A scammer insisted that I used Carchecklab.co.uk even though I had sent him a report from Carscheck.uk. The two sites provided almost identical reports but Carchecklab.co.uk charged 32.99 whereas Carscheck.uk charged just over half as much. Tustpilot reviews show Carscheck.uk has 13 reviews all saying scam. An identical site to Car Check Lab called Inspectionyard.co.uk has 29 reviews all stating that it is a scam. Carchecking has 923 reviews all one star. Checkmycar has 1592 reviews all one star. The person who scammed me, "Thomas Wright", used phone number 07465 278 080. According to the Trustpilot reviews of Inspection Yard other scam numbers used include 07446 450 287, 07465 278 262, and 07465 278 251. Unbelievable.
