It was my beloved Mums funeral very recently. All of my requests and enquiries were dealt with sympathy, care and professionalism ...especially from Claire, who took away the stress from an otherwise distressing time. She was understanding and patient of my needs and my family's at a deeply emotional time.
The service was just as I had hoped and the visual tribute was executed perfectly and was deeply moving for all family and friends. The Cremation was made part of a loving integral part of a farewell to our loved one and flowed cohesivly from the church service rather than being just a process.
The only small criticism was that there is not enough time given to families in between the exit of a family and the ensuing entrance of the next service. It gives the feel of a 'conveyor belt' which definitely detracts from the personal intimacy for loved ones who have just committed their relative or friend.
The general concensus and comments were that 'one out/ one in' is de personalising and abit disrespectful.
Apart from that we were more than pleased with the service.

Trying to organise all the elements necessary for the funeral to take place, and not living in the UK, the help given was excellent.
As far as the funeral was concerned all the arrangements were exemplary.

The service we received here was exceptional during a very sad and stressful time. Michelle and the team showed such compassion and kindness to us. We now have Dad and Mum together again in what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary year. Thankyou.

A superb facility, both in terms of staff as well as quality and environment location. A very personalised service with nothing being too much trouble and great attention to detail. When considering the emotional aspect of times when needing to use, I cannot recommend highly enough. Definitely 5*.

'Nice' crematorium but they charge too much to display photos on TV. .... something where they just have to press a button.

As a civil celebrant I have attended a number of funerals at Cardiff and Glamorgan Memorial Park, from small family services to gatherings of 150 plus.

The chapel and grounds are immaculate and bring a real sense of peace and calm to a difficult occasion. all the he staff are incredibly helpful and have a wonderful balance of empathy and professionalism, nothing is too much trouble.

We recently held a family service at The Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium & Memorial Park and I cant speak highly enough of the staff or the location.

The grounds, memorial gardens and chapel are immaculate and bring a great sense of peace to a very difficult occasion.

On the day all our needs were catered for quietly, professionally and with care ... thank you, you really did make a difficult day a memorable occasion and a helped pay a fitting tribute that all our family will remember
