Transphobia callcentre service representative

Transphobia callcentre.
Let me explain.

We call them to report all cards lost or stolen in Belgium. Includes ID cards, and credit/debit cards. The report is then used to make an official police report. The CSRs have access to our addresses, name, previous name, and DOB.

On 26th May 2022, I called to report my card lost. I provided the CSR my postcode, DOB, and last name. Also they have my mobile phone number. This brings up the data, which includes my name and unfortunately my dead name.

The CSR asked me to confirm my first name. He the told me that my name was Caitlyn! I told him he was mistaken and he hung up. He was making a reference to Caitlyn Jenner. He refused to provide the CARDSTOP service to me.

Unfortunately we can only use CARD STOP in Belgium to report our cards lost or stolen when the banks are closed.
