I would have given a 5 star review if I had been able to get through to the service by phone quicker. I had left messages, sent a communication and had phoned all morning to no avail. Once I did get t... See more

Once again an excellent service
Once again an excellent service. We had a wobbly tap and this was fixed within a couple of days of reporting it. I was texted when the plumber was on his way he attended on time and effected the repair with no hassle other than to go and get a part he needed. Highly recommend this service.
Annual boiler service completed today
Annual boiler service completed today, efficiently and safely. Booking process was easy via the office, Martin the engineer arrived on time as arranged and the service was completed within 45 minutes. Great work see you next year! 👍🏻 Thank you Careclub.
Great service, efficient and understanding
Engineer rang me before visiting the property., as requested. They were visiting my mother and she has dementia. It meant I was able to explain her condition and how she would be without her knowing (i gave power of Attorney). They then rang after the visit to explain how they had resolved the problem. Very helpful and pleasant manner.
Plumber was efficient and conscientious

A pleasure to welcome her into our home
Very efficiant service
Very efficiant service. Called on a sunday job done and finished the followinh day.
If I could give a zero star, I would (part 2)
And on it goes........
Tuesday 24th March
I received a call from you saying that the engineer could come out that day with the parts to fix the sink. I was out that day and said Wednesday or Thursday would be better. The person I was speaking to said she would call me back later that day to confirm. Nobody called back.
Wednesday 25th March
You called me to say that the engineer (Scott) would be coming round on 31st March between 2.30 - 5 (nearly a week later)
Tuesday 31st March
I had by now enrolled on a course and had to leave early missing an important test which I had to rearrange at a later date. I was home by 13.30 in plenty of time in case Scott came at the earliest time. I waited until 5pm. He didn't come round.
I called you and she explained that he was having difficulty getting the parts.
By now, I'm banging my head against the proverbial brick wall. I got a call on the 24th saying he could come out that day. I suggest you invest in a better communications system between your head office and engineers because between the lot of you, no one seems to know what is going on..
I asked when he would be coming round. She said she will have to check with Scott and continued to tell me that she's working until 7pm and would update me before then. She didn't call back. More waiting around.
Wednesday 1st APRIL
I phoned customer service and was told you are sorting this and it will not be ignored. I was informed that he would call be back before 7pm with an update. He didn't call back.....Why should I be surprised?
Thursday 2nd April
Customer service phoned me to say that the parts to fix the sink can't be found (I thought he had them on the 24th?) And that I would need to replace the sink which I would probably have to pay for myself. There must be tens of thousands of Belfast sinks out there and it's impossible to find the waste pipes for all of them? Wow.
This actually threw me and I told him to call me back later as I had some thinking to do.
If these parts are so difficult to find, why did 2 "reputable" experienced plumbers think that I could find these parts and fix it myself.
I decided to go to my nearest plumbing suppliers, a 4-mile round trip on foot as I had no car that day. I didn't have the parts to show them as Liam had taken them so I measured everything and drew it. I explained the situation to the guy in the shop and said that you probably won't have this as these parts are very difficult to find. He went into the back and placed the parts in front of me. I was in the shop 3 minutes. I got home and fixed it myself. Cost of parts £10.80
I phoned you later that day and spoke to a different person. He obviously had to catch up on the issue. I asked if the only option was to replace the sink and he said yes it looks that way. I then told him that I had fixed it myself earlier. He said ok and asked whether I still wanted to order a new sink....Oh my god!
Due to this shocking service, I asked for a refund of my subscription fees and refund for loss of earnings. I also had to pay for the parts that were supposedly included in the package. They have informed me that I will receive nothing. I also need to repair my kitchen floor.
I cancelled my direct debit in March and since then have recieved letters and emails threatening to take me to court if I don't pay the last 2 months of the yearly contract. I phoned them today about this and they have "very kindly" written this off.
Use this company at your peril
If I could give a zero star, I would (Part 1)
Shocking service and being fobbed off and ignored from the start. Here is my experience with Care Club and Rightio.
Thursday 19th Feb
Logged job online. No message back saying that you had received the request and nothing showing on my account so I submitted the request again online.
Friday 20th Feb
Checked my account and still no indication or correspondence from yourselves that you had received or actioned the job so I had to phone to see if you had received it. The job was then actioned.
Thursday 26th Feb
Engineer visits (Liam). Tightens a nut to fix a minor leak but says he doesn't have the parts to repair the main problem, the pipes connected to the belfast sink.
He tells me that it would be cheaper and quicker for me to get the parts myself and fix it myself. I said I thought parts were included in the policy and he said they weren't. I hadn't read the policy for a while so took him at his word as....so I thought....he should know. I said I would do that as I needed the use of the sink quickly. He held the pipes in position and took a photo and closed the job as repaired.
Saturday 28th Feb
I check the policy and see that parts are included and covered in the policy.
Monday 2nd March
I called you to have the policy details confirmed and it was agreed that parts are covered. I explained what had previously happened. The person I spoke to said Liam would be back with the parts.
Tuesday 3rd March
Liam returns just after 5pm. He asks what's wrong now. He had no idea that he had come back for the same problem and he didn't have the parts to fix it. He said that he had been pulled off an unfinished job in Skipton fixing a toilet. He was complaining that he would have to buy the parts himself as parts normally had to be ordered and checked local plumbing suppliers that were still open. He said the nearest was 6 miles away and he would have to drive in rush hour traffic. He then told me that after this, he would have to return to Skipton to finish that job. He was consistently complaining about the hours he had to work. I suppose I felt a bit sorry for him and agreed to wait until he ordered the parts thinking it would take a few days. He left. Sink not fixed. He took the parts that needed replacing with him.
Thursday 5th March
I phoned your office for an update and was told that Liam would be ordering the the parts the next day. Why weren't they ordered on Wednesday?
Friday 6th March
When Liam was looking at the waste pipes, he disconnected everything. As my 2 sons and I are not plumbers, we don't know what is connected to what. My son puts in a load of washing and left it to go. Liam had left the bottom part of the pipe disconnected. We then found out that the washing machine waste was connected to the sink waste pipe and because the bottom part hadn't been put back on, my kitchen was flooded ruining part of my laminate flooring. I connected this back up so that we could continue to use the washing machine and dishwasher.
Monday 9th March
I phoned for an update. The person said that they would have to contact Liam to ask. They said they would call me back later that day to let me know. Nobody called me back.
Friday 13th March
After waiting 3 days for a reply, I called again. Please see above as to what happened next. Nobody called me back even though I said nobody called me back last time. I hope you realise how frustrating this is.
Saturday 14th March
I was contacted by you to inform me that Liam had left the company and that another engineer would have to come out to assess the issue again......back to square 1. 4 days short of a month of contacting you about the job. This visit was arranged for Monday 16th between 08.00 - 12.20.
I am currently on Universal Credit and do ad hoc work on a zero-hour contract basis and need to do all the work I can get. I was contacted by a company I work for on Sunday to work on Monday to cover sickness. I turned this down as the engineer was coming and I desperately wanted my sink fixed.
Monday 16th March
Waited in for engineer to arrive. Waited until 1pm. He didn't show. I called to see what was happening. I was told that he wasn't available that day. Why was I not contacted about this? He must have known that morning that he wouldn't be coming out to me that day. Utterly shocking customer service.
Now I hope you can imagine how I was feeling about this whole issue by now. Nearly a month since I contacted you, First engineer unable to fix it, ignored by people who said they would call me back, waiting in while no one was coming, turning down work in order to wait in. I'll leave it to your imagination as to the expletives I was using at this time.
Tuesday 17th March
2 engineers come round and assessed the problem. Again, they said it would be cheaper and quicker to fix it myself...here we go again. I explained the care package to him. He said he would have to order the parts. Deja vu.. They left.

Care club are a good company to join to look after your plumbing
The guy sorry that came to fix the tap was very good at his job. He did a great job and took his time to do it right.
I would recommend him as a exceptional good plumber
Good job, eventually.
The plumber was very professional and helpful. Explained the problem and his solution. However I waited 5 hours on one day for a no show, the second day appointment between 8-12, another no show. Eventually arrived at 13:00. The job sheets and invoices are very short on information as well. Amounts charged are also very high.
Great plumber
Great plumber! He spent ages replacing the silicone on my shower tray and was very careful to make sure it wasn’t leaking any more. 🥰🥰😪
quick responders, excellent work done.
The engineers visit was booked easily and very promptly, Mike kept us informed of his arrival and was on time. Clearly a very quiet efficient gentleman, did the job in good time and was polite and apologetic at the end because he had missed a bit of water to clean up. First impressions of Care Club are extremely favourable. Glad we joined them.
