I presented at the Careers in Sport Headingly event and it was great to be in front of an engaged, intelligent and motivated audience. These events are very valuable to any individual wishing to pursue a career in sport.

I delivered at 2 sessions for CiS. They are doing a great job in 'paying it forward' for the next generation of graduates who want to work in sport. Their passion and insights make it a memorable day for everyone and I felt privileged to support in any way I could

Fantastic to be involved in all three Careers in sport events this spring! Great to meet delegates all interested in exploring a future career in sport and share my journey but also the important role sport can play in social impact. Really hope to be involved again in 2026!

I attended all of the Career in Sports events and each and every one of them was very well structured and organised. The events gave the students great insights into all different areas of sports and as an exhibitor, gave us a chance to educate students in our area of expertise where they may not have had the chance to hear about elsewhere.

It was eye-opening to see what other roles are in the sport community, apart from mainstream ones.

Okay, the only good point was that the staff and exhibitors were nice. But that was it; sadly, there were only 5 exhibitors. There weren't many networking opportunities, at least for my specific field.

The Careers in Sport event at Aintree was a fantastic event for me, being in the early stages of my sports journalism career. I studied journalism at university and since graduating I have struggled to find full-time employment, however yesterday I picked up some very useful tips that I will implement in my job hunting. The speakers all offered something different, adding a different layer to the day. The periods of networking during the day were also great to be able to chat with people in the industry. Overall, I could not recommend the event more to people in the same boat as me, or those who are considering working in sport. A truly inspiring day!

This experience was so informative. The speakers all had different jobs in the sports sector which allowed us to understand many different points of view. I gained valuable insights into personal branding and the challenges of entering the industry. On top of that, I was able to connect with some interesting people.

Provide fantastic insight into the careers in the world of sport. They provide the knowledge, insight and inspiration to students/athletes/volunteers to forge a career for themselves by presenting a plethora of opportunities and career paths.

Everyone was friendly and inviting with discussing all kinds of careers and interests. the event had a broad prospect of speakers, talking about different aspects around sport. There was availability for questions and conversations multiple times during the event to get in touch with certain people round the room. It included certain experience opportunities to explore and apply.
