This company won't admit to making a mistake but makes the customer feel like a fraudster.
Its a very long saga which you can read about on previous trustpilot reviews but may I just say that I have discovered that it was one of your employees who took my address details down incorrectly and caused endless bother, culminating in me having to make an 8 mile round trip to verify my address.
Anyone can make a mistake and I don’t think that this would have bothered me if it had been admitted to. Unfortunately I was made out to be the one giving false information about my address.
Please note that in future it would be very courteous of you to explain that an error has been made on your end rather than making the customer feel like a fraudster which is what you did with me.
Incompetent staff
Hi, I just really need to share my bad experience with carphone Brent cross and the staff who served me which I don't remember the name but they are just Incompetent, I can say all of them!!! I bought a Samsung on a contract on 30 Nov and even today 5th Dec the SIM card is not activated.so I went to the shop asking why this happened?and they give me a phone no to call costumer service o2...called and they said the person who did the contract didn't activated the SIM..so I know Brent cross is very busy but even the second person checking didn't realise that the SIM card was Not activated by they own system?!! This is so disgusting and I don't recommend to no-one...because of work I will have to go back on Saturday.. so I paid but didn't use it for more then a week! Embarrassing for the manager and the company with incompetent staff!!!

So I contacted Carphone Warehouse for comment on the following issue regarding their price of Motorola phones.
Carphone warehouse offers
Moto G5 for £169.99
Moto G5 Plus for £269.99
However if you goto Motorolas own website you can see the phones are listed as
Moto G5 for £169.94
Moto G5 Plus for £249
They also offer the new and upgraded s model
Moto G5s for £219
Moto G5s Plus for £259
So I put it to Carphone Warehouse that their price for the G5 plus is £21 (give or take a few pence) more expensive than on Motorolas own website and to make it worse - The new upgraded version the G5s Plus is still £11 cheaper to buy from Motorolas own website.
Shipping is free in both cases so no extra costs to be added.
Carphone Warehouse gave the stock response of - We do not talk about ours or other companies pricing. Prices can change without notice.
So Carphone Warehouse must have a very poor deal and/or relationship with some phone manufactures if they cant give the same price offered on the manufactures own website!

Mis sold Id contract
I was missold this contract in sept 2016 by the manager at carphone warehouse in Stockport . I put in the usual complaints but having then read the reviews decided to just stick with it untill the end of my 2 yr contract feeling a little bit confident in the fact that although coverage was shocking , and I had been lied to, my contract was capped . However , I have received a text stating that my data limit has expired and was going to be charged an excessive amount for extra data . I don't need or use the data which was explained to the manager of Stockport car phone warehouse in 2016 , but he assured me that my account was capped and I couldn't go over the data allowance !! And so , another barefaced lie. The manager of carphone warehouse in Stockport Sept 2016 is a liar . Should carphone warehouse wish to contact me regarding this review and be informed of the full information regarding this missale , please contact me.
Mis-sold Contract, Illegal ?
Was told I wouldn't have to worry about going over my data as I'd have Uk Data Cap On, which would prevent me from this. Until I found out from a Vadaphone agent that Vodaphone had not even launched it yet. Do either Vodaphone as a provider or CPWH as a vender actually communicate with each other ? Well functioning companies should have product liaison teams right ? Shocking failed by two businesses of this size, little customer not important so long as they hush and keep paying. Well I do wonder what the law states regarding leading and mis-selling a customer a product, tying them into a contract, any advice on how to take legal action ? I have all the proof I need...The girl at the shop was lovely though, it's a shame people at the top of the chain don't value their staff by giving them decent, transparent product to sell.

Very POOR customer service.
Upgraded 2 phone contracts on 26 January 2017. Served by a young man very inexperienced with perhaps very little or no training. Left the store with my 2 phone upgrades, one for my wife and the other for myself. I returned to the store within 1 hour to change one handset as my wife did not like her new phone. This was not used or even unwrapped, but was told without any hesitation that they could not change anything to the phone once I leave the store. There is no point of sale that states this around the store or at any point did the salesperson mention this. Very disappointed that a reputable company would have such a rule.
I regret shopping here and will never set foot in another car phone warehouse shop ever again.

I ordered a microSD card with store delivery, I waited 3 days, went to the store, spent there 20min they couldn't find my order.
I called customer service, they disconnected the line 2X, I spent 1 hour after they said my order is in the store, I tried to cancel my order they said its not possible, I tried to make a complaint and they said it s not possible...
I reported this transaction to AMerican Express and they will sort it out...

RUDE STAFF
Staff don't explain refunds or returns policy's and tell you once you pay and go back and ask telling you in a rude manner that I should of read the policies online and in store and I didn't buy online and there returns policie was stuffed behind the till... so u need to be a mind reader or see through tills.... very rude staff at bury store near Tescos....DO NOT BUY OFF THEM THEY SPEND MORE TIME ON THEIR OWN PHONE CHATTING TO FRIENDS

I used CPW (In Charlton SE7) for help with my phone. The young man I spoke to is their Tech Geek & was so helpful. Initially I brought in a phone to use as an emergency one. Unfortunately it couldn't be used. Today (29th Oct) I went back & took another phone but again not functionable. I asked what phones they had that I could use & he showed me their selection. As it was only for emergency I chose their £14:95. So I'm very happy with this young man's customer service satisfaction.
A truly terrible experience
I will never deal with this company again. Attempted to buy a new phone on contract. Was given my SIM card and picked the phone up 2 days later. It took 25 minutes waiting in a queue until someone handed me my phone. The SIM card wasn't activated and I was told it would take up to 10 days to be activated. After waiting 10 data it wasn't so I went into store. I was in store for TWO HOURS whilst they tried to sort it out, but it still wasn't. Ended up walking out with no new phone and wasting over 4 hours in total. I logged a complaint but they didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Went online and bought a phone instead, which from ordering to having in my hand only took 12 hours. Avoid car phone warehouse unless you have lots of time to waste

Recently bought an I Phone six plus, the person that sold it to me was taking over his head to some old kodger as myself.
He could not talk other tha gobled de gook.
I am sure he knew his stuff, but I like to know my way about most technology.
Sorry he was a poor salesman, then after the deal, no stock in store and had to wait for delivery.
Did not have a good handover then, and no attempt to advise on set up.
I had to go back to another store a third time to get sorted, they were more helpful.
VERY DISAPPOINTED
I had ordered a Microsoft 950 xl phone with carephone warehouse on the 26/11/2015. was waiting for an confirmation email and then suddenly today 5/12/15 I've received an email of cancellation of my order with no explanations of why. I have an excellent credit check so do I not know on what they based their refusal of me buying this mobile.
They have wasted my time as I have my PAC code already for 9 days now and need to find another phone urgently.
I wll never use them again.
Shop in Brent Cross
I did not use their site however over the weekend I was in London and I walked into there shop in Brent Cross Shopping Centre. The service I was eceptional and they gave me a great discount for an upgrade. Will use them again next year for sure.
