Be aware of Carhartt WIP!
I recently ordered two wallets from Carhartt WIP, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. After almost a week of waiting with no update, I had to contact Carhartt WIP myself to inquire about my order, as I had not received any dispatch email or notification about delays.
When I reached out via email, I explained that my order had no updates despite paying £6.50 for shipping and highlighted that the delivery address I provided is temporary. The representative who responded apologized for the delay and mentioned that my order would be shipped the following week.
This response was incredibly frustrating for several reasons:
I was not informed in advance that my order would be delayed.
There was no mention of a refund for the shipping charges, despite the clear inconvenience caused by the delay.
The representative completely ignored my concern about the temporary nature of the delivery address, which I had explicitly mentioned in my email.
Overall, this experience has left me very disappointed with Carhartt VIP’s lack of communication and poor customer service. I expected much better from a brand of this reputation. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their processes in the future.

Placed an order 8 days ago. Haven't even had email yet to say dispatched but they've happily taken my £91. Have emailed asking to canx the purchase but that has been ignored, as has the message via their FB page.. in comparison I ordered from Levis 2 days ago and I've already got the items and I had about 5 emails from them keeping me updated.. customer service is as important, if not more important, than the product Carhartt WIP could learn a thing or two from Levis.... still nothing from Carhartt so I have no idea if I'll ever see my items or get a refund. ?.

So slow
6 days ago I ordered 2 items from Carharrt, & 2 items from Urban Industry. The items from Urban Industry were delivered 2 days ago (& it would have been 3 if it weren't for New Years Day). The items from Carharrt haven't even been dispatched yet. It's over 2 years since I last ordered from you because my items never arrived on that occasion & I had to claim a refund. Your tardiness in processing my latest order is already making me regret the decision to buy from you again, as I anticipate more problems from UPS with delivery. I used to work for a company that shipped goods worldwide & we avoided using UPS for very good reason!

I had a problem with my order not appearing. I believe this was due to the courier. I have amended my review as it was dealt with speedily and my £ returned. A very professional rectification.
Terrible Shopping Experience – Would Not Recommend
I ordered two pairs of jeans online from Carhartt because I felt overwhelmed and intimidated by the cool staff in-store. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a huge mistake.
When the order was processed, Carhartt somehow uploaded my address without the flat number. This led to an absolute nightmare. I was on the phone with UPS every single day for a week trying to sort it out.
After nearly a month of back and forth, I finally got a notification saying the items had "arrived," but they were stolen within minutes of delivery. While I understand this is primarily a UPS issue, it’s clear from other reviews that Carhartt has an ongoing problem with their courier service. Perhaps it’s time they consider switching to a more reliable company.
I’m now stuck in the middle of a frustrating process to get my money back and am in communications with UPS and Carhartt directly daily, filling out multiple forms.
This has been the worst shopping experience of my life. For anyone thinking of ordering online, PLEASE don’t bother. I ended up purchasing the exact same items on ASOS, and they arrived the next day.
Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Great service handling
I have just experienced a marvelous service experience from Carhartt. There was an error in the garment I've ordered and they took it back and got another different one instead. After the quick reply and service proposal they made me really happy and the trust in Carthartt was back!!

My package was stolen within an hour of being delivered and their response was to basically say I was totally out of luck. I cannot believe an online retailer has such a terrible policy about this in 2024, especially a place dealing in relatively higher end stuff. I was looking forward to getting more items from them in the future but will now definitely never do so and hopefully no one I know will either.
Edit: I reached out to their customer service based on their reply here and provided additional information but received no response.
Edit 2: I reached out again based on the reply here and was told the same thing, that they cannot help.

Excellent customer service…
I accidentally ordered two of the same shirt due to a glitch on the website. I emailed customer service immediately and within hours received a lovely reply saying they would refund me and cancel one of the shirts. For a company of this size at this very busy time of year to get back to me with a solution so quickly was FANTASTIC!!! Thank you for not making it stressful. EXCELLENT customer service. A special thanks to Maddy who was dealing with me.

Bad QC and wrong material description on website
Received two jackets from them. One was full of stitching errors, with threads popping out everywhere.
The second one, wasn't made from the materials displayed on their website - that stated the jacket was made with 100% cotton. In reality, after checking the tag, the jacket is made with animal products, like wool.
Contrary to what the response from Carhartt says, the OG Santa Fe Jacket still doesn't list wool.
Other jackets, like the Detroit Jacket (Winter) also contain wool and it's not listed on their website - English version.
