auto renew costlier than manual
I was sent an auto renew notice for my car hire excess insurance. The cost for my full year had gone up slightly like last years did. Again, like last year, I checked out the price of a new policy and again, like last year, it was less expensive than the renewal quote with the added advantage that I could ‘delay’ the start of the policy a month or so as I’m not going away until a month after the renewal date.
Hmm. I thought that new customers were now not allowed to get better deals than loyal renewers?!?

A straight forward site and process to get insured against excess payment and other sundry items. It did not automatically pick up the MSE discount code the first time I tried to pursue a quote, which is why I docked a star on the rating.
