Not professional at all I had too let the workmen use my tools they even left a mess on the floor and in my toilet I don’t know what they got up too but it was also all up my walls I had too pay for cleaners too come clean it

I've purchased 11 x pairs of Delamain porcelain knobs costing approx £500 pounds and I am incredibly disappointed at the level of quality of the product. The screws that have been provided to install these knobs are rewally low quality that have damaged upon install and subsequently have damaged the base of the knobs meaning they now need to be touched up with a pen. Really disappointing given the price paid.

I bought a pair of Carlisle Brass cabin hooks from a retailer. The screws quickly rusted so I contacted Carlisle Brass to see if they had any spares. Although I got a fast response and my query seems to have passed through several departments they were unable to help. I guess their products are Chinese made, next time I'll buy an unbranded product for a fraction of the price.

Bought 5 sets of door handles, arrived in good time, well packaged, excellent quality also the customer service was second to none, only name on the invoice was Roxanne, brilliant, so hope that was who I spoke to, I would recommend this firm, products and service.

Don't be fooled by their 10 year warranty, it's not worth the paper it's written on.

About a month after fitting their door closer CDG003, the unit started making a grinding noise inside. Most probably due to insufficient oil filling during manufacture. Instead of offering to check/fix the unit, they kept pointing to fitting details which would not affect the internals of the unit in any way. I should have heeded warnings from other buyers who had experienced similar issues with this product and this company.

Below was their final response in which they wanted me to go back to the retailer 'to see if it would replace the unit'. This is the response from a company that issued the 10 year warranty in the first place!

"Please refer to the troubleshoot attached for Door Closers.
If you still have an issue with the closer after following all the attached steps, please contact the stockist you purchased it from with your proof of purchase to see whether you would able to get a replacement under the warranty"

Not particularly happy that our black nickel handles only lasted around 5 years before the plating started coming away and was ready to leave a 1-2 star review. After speaking to their technical support it seems black nickel is not a great finish for hard-wearing and longevity which is a lesson they have learned and don't sell them any more. I would have hoped they would have taken some responsibility over this but after 5+ years, I guess I can say I have had some reasonable use out of them.

So in summary, the product was 1-2 stars but the company was 4+.

Bought five interior door handles on offer. They sent two, back ordered the other three. Waited several weeks before contacting them. They weren't interested in sending the rest. Needed five matching pairs for the downstairs. Had every excuse, so contacted amazon who were only willing to refund me the three that didn't arrive, so now I have two pairs I have paid for that I can't use as I needed five matching ones. Happy days.

Carpenter fitted seven door handles using wood screws rather than bolt through fixings (which it turns out were supplied with handles). All of the handles came loose over the following year or so. I called the Carlisle Brass technical helpline to check sizes required and instead they sent me out replacement fixings free of charge. Highly recommended.

Absolutely Amazing Customer Service. I needed a spring that had broken when my husband took off the door handle to paint the door, I telephoned Carlisle Brass and they sent out 2 springs super by super quick postage. Many thanks to Carlisle Brass colleagues who were very curteous and helpful. I highly recommend your service and efficiency.

I contacted Carlisle Brass enquiring about a replacement door part for my son. The property is a New Build and the part was not listed on the main website. After speaking with Adam, he identified the part and arranged for it to be sent out.

I had not dealt with Carlisle Brass previously, I would definitely recommend this company.

Absolutely fantastic after-sales customer service. I needed some screws to re-fit some old Carlisle Brass handles and Phil was super in finding those and getting them to me in double-quick time.

I purchased a Ixion bathroom door handle as a replacement for an old handle. The old handle had a cam latch to operate against the thumb lock. The Blister pack from the Carlisle Brass stand at my local outlet had everything in it apart from a new cam latch - the base plate was longer than the one being replaced.
Carlisle do not supply new cams to fit their handles yet their pack contains a new thumb lock.
DO NOT BUY THE CARLISLE BATHROOM DOOR HANDLE FOR YOUR BATHROOM/TOILET DOOR AS IT WILL NOT LOCK
