My stay at Cabana 220 served it's purpose. A week and a half working remote from the beach. Condo was exactly as described. Had one little hitch during my stay and it was addressed immediately. THE STAFF at Carolina retreats. TOP NOTCH. Very friendly, very professional. Over the last two decades we've gone with different companies in the past. After my experience with Carolina retreats, we will ONLY do business with them in the future. Ladies, thanks for the best experience!! Look forward to coming back soon.

Our recent trip to Surf City on Topsail beach was excellent! The beach rental was perfect. The team at Carolina Retreats was responsive and communication was easy. We love the beach house - location, furnishings, and the ease of access was terrific. We look forward to our next trip and will definitely plan to book with Carolina Retreats again. A "shout-out" to Angel - you are a great asset and enjoyed working with you!

We loved the perfect location; just steps from the ocean! Perfect gathering place for our family! Having the separate ‘apartment’ on the lower level gave great space, too! We hope to come back next winter including even more family members❤️

I wish I could say our experience was positive. Many things went wrong including not being able to unlock the screen door, roaches, ants, flies. There were screws in the driveway which we picked up. The Wi-Fi had the wrong site, but neighbor fixed it. Some of the chairs were very loose, and overall the house did not seem maintained. Not the cleanest. No keys for the room the washer/dryer was in. Eventually someone from the rental company brought them, but we were not home and did not know they were coming. Fortunately, a neighbor accepted them.
On a positive side, the deck on the ocean side was great, and we love the location on the south end.
I wish the rental company had been more responsive to our calls. I realize it is difficult to be fully staffed in the off-season, but it was still frustrating.

Regular service, basic customer service. They work on weekends but not in holidays, so when I need some help me with issues, no one appear. But finally they fixed my travel date. Thanks anyway.

We found the staff very welcoming! The room was clean and well organized. Check in and out very easy. Not our favorite bed it was super firm.( However I have never met a person who likes the same bed) We certainly enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous view!! Our room had beautiful views and was conveniently located to everything. It was modern, up to date and clean. We had a super time and appreciate the great service.

Love the remodeling they have done and it will be great once complete.

Clean condo with supportive staff.

Company was awesome to deal with. Very efficient with communication and we even got a call from a real person the day of check-in to make sure we had all the info needed to get into the property. The house was good. Excellent location and the fenced yard was great. Some attention to detail on the inside would be beneficial - molded shower head, drain and return vent were a turn off. The neighbor to the right was not friendly at all but you can't pick your neighbors!

Super convenient & extremely clean! Very comfortable stay!

Worst company ever! Promised 100% refund. Only got 47% back….. yeah duh we didn’t stay! You stole $847 of our money when we canceled 5 months in advance.

Temperatures were in the teens at night during my visit...no working heater in the room.

This property was clean, bright and well appointed. It is very centrally located to many great spots and is very quiet. Beautiful views of the Intracoastal. While additional pillows and sheets were available for the unit, there were no pillowcases to be found. I did not bother reaching out to the Management Company handling the rental as I found them to be difficult to communicate with on several occasions. They were very slow to answer specific inquiries on multiple platforms (messaging, text messaging, email, telephone) regarding adding an additional night, availability of early check-in, etc. I was ultimately offered an early check-in for an additional fee but declined as the fee was almost half the cost of one night’s stay. So, bring your own pillows and don’t expect strong communication, otherwise, lovely place.

We enjoyed our stay at The Beach House OKI. It was super convenient having the slider doors to an outdoor space for our dog to use and we had the best spot right across from the beach access. We look forward to coming back soon!

Tv did not work, lightbulbs needed replacing, lack of towels and no return phone calls after leaving four voicemails.

We needed a short term place to stay and were very pleased with the Beach House. Very close to restaurants, and beach access. The rooms were very roomy and spotless. They let you bring up to 3 dogs, we only have 2, but it was a great size for them. Amanda was very helpful and great to deal with. We will be back for sure!
