The car we booked was new, very clean and it was 22 Euros a day, which is VERY GOOOOD ! We had no stress with paperwork and eveything was smooth

Customer service is excellent. Great staff providing a pleasant easy experience for hiring a car at this company, the team is friendly, professional, knowledgable and efficient. I'll definitely rent again from them again.

Worst customer treatment.
Price policy of Caroutis is a shame for every serious working enterprise in Romania. To every car rental company you pay full days. And even agreeing to return car earlier - voluntary - the day is paid. Today I returned the car to Caroutis in Bucharest instead of 6 a.m. at 12. Even the car was paid till 12, they asked to pay a full extra day. A full day charge for 6 h what were paid already. Good that many other companies understood already that stealing money from customers is not a good business model.

And after writing e-mail as recommended by Caroutis Team as response on this comment: it is obvously that there is not any understanding, not any will, to respect a customer. Threfore once more: price policy of Careoutis is unique, not acceptable and a reason not to rent a car there! (update 15.09.20)

We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience, but unfortunately we were unable to find your reservation. Please help us with more details and a reservation number at the email address customerservices@caroutis.com. If you have made an online reservation and have selected certain dates (both for pick-up and return/drop-off) the price offer is made for that period. Therefore, any other change subsequent to the signing of the contract must be announced at least 24 hours before the time and date entered in the contract as the time of return, as these may bring additional costs. We at Caroutis, offer our customers a buffer period of 60 minutes compared to the time last in the contract as the return dates, our system generates a fleet utilization report after which we can confirm or not other reservations. For this reason we ask our customers to notify us either in writing on reservations@caroutis.com or by telephone of any change that may occur after signing the lease. The representatives of our company are very well trained and we are sure that they inform and explain the terms and condition to customers every time they sign for taking over the car.
