Terrible Quality and Deceptive Practices

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase from Carro Moda. The company advertises its garments as linen, but the items I received were made from a very cheap, poor-quality fabric that is nothing like linen. The product pictures on the website are completely misleading and do not accurately represent what you receive.

To make matters worse, the customer service has been abysmal. I have emailed the company five times to resolve this issue and have been met with nothing but stalling from representatives named Mohamid and Eman. They seem to have no intention of providing a resolution.

Due to the deceptive nature of their products and their lack of a response, I have filed a complaint with Trading Standards. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company if you want the quality and service they claim to offer.

Absolutely agree with everyone else's reviews on here of carro moda. They stole £35 from me, in return for a piece of nylon crap - supposedly a dress - I don't know of anyone to whom it would fit! Extremely low quality shit. Didn't even resemble the ad. Wasn't even the same colour! Offered to refund 15p/c, which went up to 20, then 30 per cent refund. Of yes, I could have returned it at my own cost (£20!!!), what a complete & utter sham. They pretend to be in Sweden, but they are Chinese. Please don't be fooled.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes in January to try sizes, took about 6 to 8 weeks to arrive. Paid £25 to return 1 pair recorded delivery & they were returned to me on 6th August!!!!! No refund!! Supposed to be in Stockholm but actually China. DO NOT USE!!! Complete fraudsters!!

Please read reviews before ordering from this company. I ordered a dress which looked lovely on their website. What I received was a horrible nylon thing. I emailed to say I’d like to return and refund. They are making this extremely difficult. They want proof of purchase and various other things!! But they obviously have this already. It’s a disgrace. Scammers

Ordered linen set. Polyester piece of crap arrived and claiming they won’t refund me

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered a dress that arrived late and was very poor quality. I asked for a refund and they tried to bargain to give me 20% refund. Instead I returned it to the address provided but when delivery to them was attempted there was no answer at the door. They have not replied to my emails so i am £38 worse off. I feel totally ripped off.

I wish I can give them a no star rating.
This is a dubious company. First they refused to cancel my order some minutes after I realised that I would receive my order late and then delivered it two weeks after I was told it was on its way.
Now they are saying I have to pay almost the amount of the money I bought the sneakers for return.
The sneakers is does not look like what’s in the picture. Very cheap material.

Don’t buy from them. They are fraudulent.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This company is a total scam, they are Chinese, do not trust them. I ordered what was supposed to be a linen dress. The article which I was sent was an extremely thin polyester thing which would not even have been any good as a dishrag.
Total waste of my hard earned money. They would not refund or accept the article back. This company does not do any good for people’s perceptions of the Chinese race.

Still waiting for delivery after 17 days. Don’t order from this site. Refunds cost minimum of £15

I ordered 2 linen shirts. I received 2 pieces of rag! A pair of very badly made polyester cotton. I wouldn't wear them to do painting in.
The first response was quick but after that....
They refused to pay postage even though they said if the wrong item had been sent. The contact no is invalid. Do not be fooled by the UK email address and the address in Sweden. These are people in China after your money.
I have returned them at my expense. They cleared customs 2 weeks ago.

Should have read the reviews first ! - the product was a very cheap material and almost nothing like the picture or the description on thier website- I attempted to send it back on the 29th Jan 2025 as per their returns process, cost me £15.25 . I emailed them regularly as they said it was "in customs" - they apologised all the time but nothing happened. Today, August 5th 2025, my postman gave me back my parcel ! I feel like this is a massive scam - dont buy from this company

I very much regret NOT reading Reviews for this clothing website.
I have read all other Reviews and had exactly the same experience of feeling I had been scammed!
AWFUL and CHEAP Quality of Polyester Tops .. described on website Shop to be LINEN. Based on this blatant lie, this Online shop should be REMOVED/BANNED from UK websites.

My Tracking of 'delayed items' appeared to be despatched from a Chinese Warehouse!!
Has a UK Customer Service contact email address - somehow, I don't think so!!

Caromoda website states based in Scandinavia - not so. China based company who will not give a returns form and offer rubbish options instead. Their website states 30 days easy return for their swimwear. One of their excuses is that they will not accept back for hygiene reasons. But do not say this on their website. They have just given a 20% refund which I did not agree to. I now see that they also have a website called Mysa-London.co.uk which has all the same one star comments as Caromoda. This company is a scam - one person who responded has said to report to Action Fraud in the UK on 0300 123 2040. I don't know if this will work but this sort of outrageous scamming needs to be stopped.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a shirt and what I received was a really poor quality alternative, nothing like the one I ordered. 6 weeks later and following many email exchanges, I have not received what I ordered, nor a refund. A complete and utter scam.

What a load of rubbish.
The dress is ordered took weeks to arrive and looked like it had been in a ragbag, full of fluff and dust and creased beyond anything I have seen before. It was advertised as Wallis.
Do not buy!!

I ordered 7 XXL size linen shirt.
I received 7 SMALL size shirts
I provided photo evidence of the ill fitting items and attached their return policy to no avail.
They want to charge £10 extra per shirt for replacement.Or offer a refund for 15% of the value paid for less expenses!
Their telephone line doesn’t exist

BE WARNED! STAY AWAY! This scummy company is the absolute pits, worst purchase decision I have made this year and what have I ended up with? a pile of crap clothing that is not the colour I ordered. They refuse to reimburse me unless I take a 15% reduction of my original payment and pay to send their crap, trackedand paid for by me, to an address in China. NEVER!!!!! I warned you Carromoda, I will now name and shame you everywhere!!!!!

How is this company still able to trade?
Ordered a linen dress and received a 100% polyester one.
After lots of emails .. with very slow responses they offered a 30% refund
Contact your bank or credit card company to report, if you have made the mistake of ordering from them
This company needs to be stopped, it's a scam!

They deserve negative stars if those existed. They're the worst and they pretend to be UK supplies whereas they're based in Hong Kong 😳. I ordered from these people thinking they are based in the UK. Only to discover from the bank account name that they're actually in Hong Kong. Of course the delivery took weeks and when they said they had delivered and the courier (Relay) didn't bother to get it to my door. When I contacted them they told me to contact the courier. I didn't not arrange for delivery directly with the courier in the first place
Please don't buy anything from these guys. They're a scam and from other reviews you can prove that. I wish I had read there reviews before.

I wish I could give no stars and had visited the Trustpilot page before placing my order.

I thought I was ordering a linen dress but when it arrived (after weeks) it was 100% polyester.

I have sent multiple emails and initially the responses came, until I challenged and expressed my dissatisfaction.

I am out of pocket and with a dress I do not want.

Do not order from this site, they should be closed down.
