I had Worst experience with car 24.car24 is really a big scam.first they assure u about car condition n make us to pay extra 40000 for warranty. Within 20days I got major issue of transmission issue , clutch , steering.They made me replace steering n clutch cost around 35000 with my money and still there is a problem in AMT transmission cost around 1 lakh n they say it doesn't come under warranty.i just faced all these problems in 20days.they just sell defected vehicles .they don't even response to ur calls n messages..I suggest every one don't go for car 24

I had a very disappointing experience with Cars24.

They conducted an inspection of my car and then asked me to pay ₹499 to proceed with bidding. However, the price I received was shockingly low — almost comparable to cars that have done nearly twice the kilometers of mine. There was no logical justification or transparency in the valuation.

What made it worse was the customer service. The support team lacked professionalism, showed no willingness to engage or negotiate, and didn’t address my concerns meaningfully.

Overall, the process felt misleading and not worth the time or money. I would not recommend Cars24 based on my experience.

Followup on 29th March:
That said, after I raised the issue publicly, the Cars24 social media team did step in and refunded the bidding fee as a goodwill gesture, which I appreciate.

I would like to raise a complaint regarding my experience with the CARS24 platform.
I received a call from customer care stating that my car inspection would be done free of cost. Based on that, I agreed to proceed. An inspection executive from CARS24 visited and inspected my car. After inspection, he informed me that:
My car condition is very good
It will be sold quickly
Later, he told me that the inspection was completed, but to submit the report, I need to purchase the Pro Seller Pack. He clearly stated that only after making the payment, he would process and submit the inspection report; otherwise, the inspection would be cancelled.
Trusting his words, I paid ₹824.82 (₹699 + tax) for the Pro Seller Pack.
However, after the payment and report submission, my car was given a low rating of 3.4, which is completely unexpected and unfair considering the actual good condition of my car.
When I contacted the inspection executive, he said that he had given a good report but the company reduced the rating, and asked me to contact the company directly.
This situation is very disappointing and feels misleading.
I request:
A proper explanation for the low rating
A review and correction of my car’s rating
Clarification on why I was asked to pay after being told inspection was free
Full refund of ₹824.82, as I was misled into purchasing the Pro Seller Pack
Appropriate action regarding this misleading process
I hope for a quick resolution.

Quoted very less price than market price. Inspection guy charged Rs. 899+ gst saying car pricing will be displayed all India basis. The dedicated customer executive spoke very rashly and cut the phone. Now customer call centre executive had blocked my phone no. Very bad service.

Had an Effortless buying and selling experience . It is a reliable and easy to use app .

I purchased a car from Cars24, and at the time of purchase, they sold me an warranty plan. However, they never informed me that the car already had an active manufacturer warranty.

Whenever I faced any issue, Cars24 support simply denied coverage, saying the problem was not included in their warranty. Later, when I visited the authorized service center of the car’s manufacturing company, I found out that my car was already covered under the company’s warranty.

This clearly shows that Cars24 misled me and sold a warranty plan unnecessarily. They claim to have proper inspection (PDI) reports, but in reality, it seems they don’t verify things properly and just push warranty plans to customers.

I requested a refund for the warranty, but the car24 team refused. This feels like a complete fraud. The ironic part is that the same issue, which Cars24 denied, is being properly fixed at the manufacturer’s authorized service center.

My advice to others:
If you are buying a BS6 car, always check and opt for the manufacturer’s extended warranty directly instead of buying from Cars24. The company warranty covers more parts and provides reliable service through authorized service centers, unlike Cars24’s limited and unreliable network.

Very disappointing experience.

I had sold car CHEVROLET SAIL GJ05JE1193 to cars24 on date 1/10/2024 at Bharuch, Gujarat location. The person who made transaction was Mr Pintu Rajput. He has informed that RC will be transferred in 6 months duration. Till date close to2 years my RC is not transferred, getting overspeed Challan of Rs5k till now, car after selling is badly handled and overspeed challans not paid for more than 2 months. Sold car without RC transfer is driven recklessly and I am getting harassed due to frequent generation of RTO Penalty challans

I have sold my car in on 20th July, 2025. Till date the RC not transferred to customer. Worst part is that the car is running in Hubli without RC in their name. No information from CARS24 regarding the transfer. DO NOT DO ANY TRANSACTION THRU CARS24. Ater 9 months I am struggling to get the update of my car

I had a very disappointing experience with CARS24. Initially they showed me a much higher expected price for my car and convinced me to subscribe to their ₹699 “exclusive category”, claiming it would help me get a better deal. However, once the process started, the final price offered was much lower and nowhere close to what was promised.

This feels like a misleading marketing strategy designed to attract customers with inflated price estimates and then pressure them to settle for a much cheaper offer later. On top of that, I kept receiving repeated calls asking me to accept the lower price.

I paid the fee based on the expectation they created, but the entire process felt manipulative and not transparent at all. The pricing shown at the beginning should be realistic instead of being used as bait to make customers pay for premium services.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious before paying for any “exclusive” services unless CARS24 improves transparency and honesty in their pricing process.

Agents are too busy just selling their in-app subscriptions. First they’ll sell you the Pan India auction where no one other than the base Cars24 quote comes. Then you’ll get another call to buy the Direct Customer to Customer option that shows a fake number that is 30-40% higher. By this time they’ll take ALL possible information including your Aadhaar, PAN, Loan details, Bank account details etc. ready to be sold. Before anything even happen, they would have taken 2-3k from you along with all your data and car photos.

I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling experience I have had after purchasing a vehicle from your dealership, HR26EF5812, about six months ago.

Upon reviewing the vehicle, I discovered that it has an accident history, and the pillars have been repainted. Additionally, I feel that the financing terms provided were not reasonable, especially considering the high rate of interest. It seems the dealership has made it difficult for me to secure a loan from another bank, creating a situation where they demand additional payments for every little issue arising from this purchase.

I believe this situation needs to be addressed, and I would appreciate your prompt attention to resolving the concerns related to my vehicle and loan. I highly advise potential customers to be cautious, as my experience may reflect wider issues of trust in your services.

Very useless company this cars 24 is fraud my vehicle hyundai i10 sports i decided to sell this car in cars 24 they told 25k to my car it's very too much and he is telling ur car is scrap very wrost and, I spent 824₹ for telling the cars price but it was very wrost service i didn't expect from cars 24 i bought from here and I selling this car also same company ( warning please don't pay to cars 24).

i have placed an PDI order vide ref no: 772533705119HN dt: they have submitted incomplete report. when we are raising an e-mail ticket will be generated but not response from cars24. even after 2 days of receipt of report they are not responding for your quarries. we are unable to reach cars24.

Yesterday a guy came in to inspect our Scorpio. I paid a little over 1000 for pan India presence. I was told the car will be up for auction and it'll take around 7 days. Suddenly I start getting calls from cars 24 haryana that are you interested in an XYZ price which seemed attractive. Meanwhile the car is not up for auction on the app. Today I get a call to pay up more than 1200/- to put up an ad to list the car for sale! The man was aggressive and told me that my car profile will be removed if I don't pay up. All this within 24 hours of inspection. This is absolutely unprofessional and the pressure tactics make you feel very suspicious and insecure about this whole process.

I saw their ad on TV of lifetime warranty, never imagined anyone could give lifetime warranty on used cars, and luckily I wanted to buy a 2nd car for my family, my wife jut learnt how to drive and got her DL and now she is ready to cruise on NCR roads,
Coming back to cars24, I booked i20 asta an went to test drive this tuesday, they have opened up a new hub in old Delhi Gurgaon road, it’s good looking but little rough around the edge as you can see works hasn’t completed fully. I was greeted by their sale staff and they check my number on their computer and I took a test drive, they had few other i20s but they were too old and not automotive one I wanted, I got done with mh test drive, experience was smooth and loved the car, it was like falling in love soon after tou got on board, when I inquired about lifetime warranty, it was available on that car, but they charge extra for it, it’s 1000 annual after 1st year of comprehensive warranty with a caveat that I get serviced in their center, I find this bit odd but considering I won’t get this anywhere else, I went fo it. All in all; s great experience at cars24. I got my car home just yesterday, let’s see how it rolls.

Extremely frustrating and irresponsible experience with CARS24.

I registered on CARS24 to sell my car and received a bid through their platform. After I accepted the bid, their team instructed me to pay the remaining loan closure amount to the CARS24 account so the process could move forward. Trusting their platform and instructions, I transferred the amount immediately.

Shockingly, after the payment was made, I was later informed that the bid I had already accepted was cancelled from their side. This clearly shows poor coordination and careless handling of customers.

Later I received another bid, but the price was much lower, so I rejected it and sold my car elsewhere. The real problem started after that.

CARS24 assured me that the money I paid would be refunded within 24 hours. But now it has been more than two weeks, and my money is still not refunded.

Even worse, their customer support has been completely unresponsive. I have contacted them multiple times, but there has been no proper reply, no accountability, and no resolution.

Holding a customer's money for weeks while giving false assurances about a 24-hour refund is completely unacceptable. This experience shows a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and responsibility toward customers.

If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will have no option but to escalate this matter through consumer forums and other public platforms.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting CARS24 with their vehicle transactions.
