I took my car to Carspect for a routine inspection. Before the visit, there were no issues and the check engine light was not on.

Immediately after the inspection, the check engine light appeared. When I contacted Carspect, their response was both dismissive and unhelpful. They even said, “We wouldn’t have approved your car if we saw the engine light on.”

This clearly shows the light was not on during the inspection, and only came on after they had been handling the car. Yet they took no responsibility and made no effort to help.

Be careful — in my experience, there is a risk they might handle parts of your car during the inspection and if something goes wrong, they will not take responsibility or fix it afterwards.

Poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I will not be returning and cannot recommend Carspect to anyone.

As you might see on the reply from carspect, they told me to send them an email about it, well I did July 29
where I stated all the details and attached documentation, is now September 19th, few months later still no reply to my email. I long gave up and went to an awesome car service and paid out of pocket to get these issues fixed and serviced.

I have used other stations in Hudiksvall but this is bar far the best. Excellent customer service, a thorough but fair examination of vehicles and trailer. Left knowing my vehicles are safe to drive,
Would not go anywhere else.

I went for besiktning to Carspect's Ringön branch with my old (2008) but well maintained Honda Civic. The staff who inspected the car said the brakes were stuck on the left side, front and back. I then said that the car brakes were serviced from Honda's official workshop at Olskroken just 4 days earlier and I've not had any issues.
To be fair, sometimes my brake pads touch the discs, but it releases when the car starts moving. However, he seemed surprised that brakes were serviced and also added that the brake discs were 'Red' when he drove the car before getting it up on the lift.
This seemed impossible during the 1 minute he drove the car, unless he was driving with the parking brakes engaged.
He then quickly added to get the brakes checked and 'come back for ombesiktning'. When I drove home, i still felt no issues with my brake.
One working day later, my car cleared the ombesiktning without any extra repair/check..obviously because I went to another company for the besikning.
So I'm not sure if it's inexperience with older cars or if this is part of a scheme to get ombesiktning fees. Either way I'm not going back and don't recommend the Ringön branch atleast.

Had a wonderful experience here. Everything went as expected and the staff were super helpful at the Svågertorp branch. It’s very convenient to be able to sit and wait and have a coffee while the inspection is being done.

They don't like old car
When i bring the car, the person started the conversation with why i drive an old car. They don't like to receive cars older than 10 years. Don't go to the place if you have a car older than 10 years

I booked in april for the 22/5. so a month in advance, and got of from work and everything. Carspect just moved my apointment to the 23/5, where im not off from work. I booked with another company now. will not use carspect again

Really poor service! No wornder there are so many empty timeslots. Use another place!

Carpect Växjö is making wrong practices.

In first control they said that cover of adaptor connecting the electrical connection to trailer coupling is missing and second control they are saying that cover of main connector also needed. Adaptor is connected to the main connector.

Technician at shop says to talk to customer support and customer support says talk to technician

too few people, had to wait to be checked in- its the same people who do the inspection and the checking in. I have watched these inspections for years and this one just looked so amateurish/not qualified. Cheap appearance to all their machinery/personell etc.

The service is good! But around the building Carspect Malmö Eriksfält, Fosievägen 30, a lot of trash Around the building. Looks like no one care about it. Does Carspect management think trash in territory attractive for customers? 😂
