CarSupermarket.com Stoke were great because its the best customer experience we have ever received , from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcomed and valued , we were greeted by the salesperson and he introduced himself as Jack , we had already arranged to view the car and Jack had it ready for us , he shown us all around the car and inside , as we have never driven an automatic Jack explained everything in detail from starting and selecting the gear , we went for a test drive and as my wife is a nervous driver especially driving something new and completely different to our current car Jack to us to an area which was perfect for my wife to have a drive and feel comfortable and now after nearly a week she loves driving the car , i have to say that we have not bought a car for a while and this was quite daunting as it was a quite an expensive purchase for us but with all the help we received it was made very easy indeed , after we purchased and got the car home we had a few questions about things on the car , so i got in touch with Jack and nothing was a problem to him he answered everything we needed straight away , all in all our experience was fantastic and i would not hesitate returning , we are so glad we chose to drive from Manchester to Stoke to view and purchase the car , so a big thankyou to Jack for a pleasant experience as these days you do not normally get great customer service

The experience was great. We were approached by a member of staff. They were very helpful. Went through loads of options for different cars and had a lot of patience. They were not pushy and gave all the options so we could make an informed choice. I have always had a good experience and a good service from them. That's why I have bought the last four cars with them.

My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
Before purchasing the vehicle, I specifically asked about its condition, including whether there were any warning lights on the dashboard, whether there were any mechanical issues, and whether there was anything else I should know before making the journey to collect it. I was reassured that there were no mechanical issues.
I also specifically asked whether there were any warning lights on the dashboard and was told there were none. I was later present when my partner telephoned the dealership and, during that conversation, we were told that there had been warning lights but that they had been cleared. Those two conversations were completely inconsistent.
When I collected the vehicle, it had very little fuel, so I immediately put £50 of diesel into it which is understandable.
During the very first journey home, white smoke came from under the bonnet and warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. I immediately reported the issues to the dealership and arranged for collection from them. They said someone would come and inspect the vehicle, diagnose it and take it.
When someone from the dealership attended he explained that he was not a mechanic and would not be inspecting the vehicle and diagnosing it, but did proceed to look under the bonnet, he commented that there appeared to be virtually no coolant or water in the vehicle, identified what appeared to be an issue with the heating/cooling system, and stated that he would not drive the vehicle because it was unsafe even though they had allowed me to drive all the way back to London like this. Recovery had to be arranged instead.
Unfortunately, the customer service throughout was just as disappointing as the vehicle itself.
There were repeated delays, poor communication and a complete lack of proactive updates. I repeatedly had to chase for information, and when we explained how inconvenient the delays had been after waiting in all day, we were asked:
"Why is it an inconvenience?"
No apology was offered.
After returning the vehicle, I asked whether I could be reimbursed for the £50 of diesel that I had put into it immediately before the faults became apparent. My partner was told:
"What do you want me to do? Come and take the fuel back out the car then?"
I found that response completely unprofessional and dismissive.
I exercised my right to reject the vehicle and returned it to the dealership. Despite this, I spent weeks chasing both the dealership and the broker for updates because nobody seemed able to tell me what was happening.
Despite repeatedly requesting it from the dealer, I was never provided with the dealership's inspection report. This meant I was never informed what faults they identified, what repairs had been carried out or whether any additional issues had been discovered.
I later received a message from the dealership stating that they had carried out a 200-mile test drive, that the vehicle was "ready", and asking whether I was "still interested". Despite this, I was still not provided with the inspection report or any details of the work undertaken.
While I was still waiting for my finance agreement to be unwound, I also discovered that the same Nissan X-Trail had already been relisted for sale on Auto Trader. I found this surprising given that I had still not received the inspection report explaining what faults had been identified or what work had been carried out before it was offered for sale again.
If you decide to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, my advice would be:
Read every document carefully.
Don't rely solely on verbal assurances.
Ask plenty of questions.
Take an OBD diagnostic scanner with you and carry out your own checks before buying.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. The issues with the vehicle, the poor communication, the delays, the dismissive attitude and the lack of transparency throughout the process have completely destroyed my confidence in them.

I had my reservations about big franchise dealers but I was pleasently surprised by my experience.
All the sales people in the shop and on the phone were nice and friendly, car was sold to a very good cleanliness standard, no excessive pushing for optional extras. Price was reasonable and competitive.

My experience at CarSupermarket.com Newcastle was memorable because the salesperson was very helpful and helped to explain everything to me. He even helped me to access the documents online that I was struggling with. He helped me check the car and explain some of its features. I was most impressed that he helped me to register the v5 as well as road tax. I call this going above and beyond for a customer. Definitely impressed.
