Great service and easy transaction!

There was no pressure to buy the car, best price was offered up front. Was cheapest and best value for similar cars on market at time of sale, and beat other pricing by about $1,500.
Macauley from Carzoos was greatto deal with and extremely organised. Even after the sale followed up with us and the car! Great and easy experience all round!!

A Disappointing Experience.

So disappointed. Absolutely wonderful customer service from the call centre, and then it went downhill. After my solo test drive (they just pretty much handed me the keys) I was in love with the car. When discussing finance and warrantee options, I was told that Hyundai manufacturing warrantee wasn’t still on my car, and that the call centre had gotten that wrong. The whole experience was very transactional and impersonal but again, I loved the car.

Fast forward. I emailed to request service books because they had not shown them to me. I also requested someone contact Hyundai about the warrantee and Carzoo admitted there was still one in place. I asked to see a different mock contract without the premium warrantee addition but did not receive it. There was peeling issues on part of the car, and I was assured it would be looked into. I also asked if the car would be fully fueled and I was assured it would be.

Communication felt like a tedious chore. I needed the registration to get insurance and when I couldn’t get an answer from the dealership I just used the VPN from the mock contract. When I received the documents from my bank, I realised the dealership had requested the price WITH premium warrantee without confirmation. I contacted Carzoo, then my bank, then Carzoo again to fix the issue. This delayed my finance approval. In the meantime I was receiving messages asking whether I had received funds yet. When I expressed my disappointment at the lack of communication I got told I would be dealing with a new salesperson.

Communication picks up, fast forward to picking up the car and I’m put in a booth and wait 15mins. While waiting my partner asked if I got the tinting service and I had to explain to him that extra services where never even mentioned to me. Contract has parts that was never discussed, like a cut off date from 3 days prior. Whatever, because I wanted this car.

No peeling was fixed. Driving home, realised the fuel tank wasn’t full as promised. But again, whatever because I had the car, they had my money, and I just felt over it.

Then my car started making noises. Right after the return period ends, so I contact the dealership. I am told to take it to the service centre, but no number is supplied and there is no liaison. When I tried to confirm that there would be no cost to me as this is a brand new car, there was no response. Two business days later the car is at the dealership’s chosen service centre and they have been lovely but have recommended I go to the Hyundai service centre. I have received no response from Carzoos, and there will be a diagnostic fee with Hyundai.

I know this is long but I wanted to finally get this out. The whole time I felt like something to poke for money, not as a valued customer. Telling me I didn’t have manufacturers warrantee so I’d buy more is just shady. Lack of aftercare wasn’t great. But honestly I wouldn’t have posted this had the response to my car making noises been better. I wouldn’t recommend this dealer to a friend, because no matter how cute the car was, the headache is too much.

Good customer service

After a disappointing experience trying to get an issue resolved after i had purchased the car.I was contacted by Liam at garden city who was able to help rectify the problem. He was quick to organise a repair along with a hire car. Very pleased with the work done and the extra detail that they went to look over the car for any other damage to fix

Best way to buy a car..

After purchasing a vehicle through Carzoos and experiencing instant mechanical issues, I was delighted by the extra mile this dealership went to to ensure these problems were resolved and handled appropriately. Buying through Carzoos proved to be a better option than private sales or other dealerships, as most are a lot less fairly priced and would most definitely turn a blind eye to these issues after a sale.
