I just bought total $40 robux gift card at July 23 2025. And today when I write this, I still not receive my robux yet. I paid that via PayPal and as I check my transaction history on PayPal it said pending. Now I didn't want the robux, I just want to refund. Payment declined

Bought roblox giftcards first one went fine, second & third one didnt get through, "payment declined". Took my money and didnt receive a refund or an actual reason why it didn't work. Reading the other reviews, I can kiss my money goodbye. Big mistake

Update: added 1 star because I got my money back, can't give a better review since the service is just not working well.

Repeat: If you're buying a branded gift card, check if the vendor is CashStar. Steer clear if it is.

I repeat here an earlier critical Trustpilot review regarding my experience with CashStar. The product was a Delta Airlines gift card.
I posted a 1-star review about a week ago relating my experience with Cashstar. After the review was posted, Cashstar followed up with a series of verification requests through Trustpilot, which I responded to within 24 hours. Received the following from CashStar after they had "elevated" the complaint:

"Hello,

We were unable to process your order.
For cardholder protection reasons, the exact cause of the processing issue cannot be provided, but you can place a new order.
We recommend placing the order using the same information as the last one.
Please note: Your card issuer may have placed a pending hold on your funds in anticipation of a purchase. Pending holds do not indicate charges that need to be paid; they simply temporarily reduce your available credit.
The pending hold will expire according to your card issuer's timeline.
Thank you,
Gift Card Support

They recommended placing another order, so I proceeded. I held my breath for a similar rejection. Guess what - this time something changed!
The order wasn't rejected immediately. I received the following immediate response which sounded promising:

"Thank you for your purchase.
Your order number is: #XXXXXXX
We'll be sending you delivery confirmation soon, along with complete order details for your records.
Order processing may take up to 3 business days after order has been approved.* An email with the tracking details will be sent when the order is shipped. These Cards will be shipped active and ready to use.
*processing may take longer during peak times
Thank you,
Delta Gift Card Team"

And the basis of this derogatory review is because less than 2 hours later, I received the same, disappointing email:
"We're sorry. We were unable to process your eGift Card order from Delta.
Settled charges will be refunded to the original form of payment. Pending authorizations do not represent capture of funds and will expire according to the policies of the financial institution.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at deltagiftcards@ delta.com or call 855-741-1208 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, seven days a week. Please refer to order number #XXXXXXXX
Please keep this message for your reference.
Thank you,

Delta eGift Card Team"

Conclusion: Buy a gift card from CashStar at the risk of disappointment, aggravation and a bunch of automated responses. This company totally FAILS far as gift cards are concerned.

€80 gone, been trying to get money back since 2024!!!!

I bought a giftcard but didn’t receive my order, i have been emailing you guys since October last year. This is insane €80 just vanished. You guy are ridiculous. Took my money, sent nothing.

Unbelievable. CashStar has one single job: take payment and email a code. They failed completely.

I was forced to use their service to buy a Roblox gift card on June 14th. My payment went through in seconds. The actual gift card? Never showed up. It's been days. It's just not coming.

What kind of joke is this? You can't just take people's money and not deliver the product. That's not a "service," that's theft. I'm now stuck in a support loop trying to get my money back.

Zero stars if I could. Avoid at all costs.

Lululemon gift card partially stolen

I read a review of someone with a similar experience. Lululemon issued me a gift card for $83.83 before I could use it someone else had redeemed it. I contacted Lululemon and they issued me a new one for $85.00 within 2 days someone had redeemed it for $82.88. Lululemon will not help me anymore. I would like to solve the issue. Any ideas?

This company is terrible

This company is terrible. They contract with companies to sell company gift cards. They send you contradicting emails confirming your order and that the gift cards will be mailed. Then another email saying your order was declined. It’s not easy to get someone on the phone and when you do they can’t tell you why it was declined and that I’d have to wait several days to see the credit or follow up in 3 days. What a scam!

Buyer Beware CashStar.com is fraudlent gift card processor. If you purchase a gift card for someone who cannot access their email account, they will not issue a credit, even if you provide proof of purchase and accompanying documentation. They will give you the runaround by telling you to go back to the merchant. Class action lawsuit needs to be filed.

Scammed

Purchase egiftcard for playstation. When purchasing, company did not state anything about countries that you cant redeem it in and let me order with a Canadian card. meanwhile, when I get the gift card, it says I cannot redeem in Canada. I called customer support 3 times. 1st time all I got was someone breathing on the other line and a tv in the background. 2nd time they said they can't help me and said call PSN. 3rd time I was finally given some help and the lady said I will get a refund within 4-48hrs. I hope that actually happens because i wasnt given any other information. Such a scam to allow you to purchase a gift card with no terms provided, but then when you receive the email with the card they want to provide 2 pages of terms and conditions. Really disappointed. $60 down the drain. Should've read these comments before, but I just got the website from PSN themselves so I thought it would be fine. Buyer beware.
