Horrible experience. No way to speak with a actual person. Every email takes days for anyone to respond. They don't send out gift cards in timely manner. Still waiting after ordering on Black Friday... See more

Same issue as others with Lululemon gift card. Lululemon only says to call Cashstar. They do not take calls from outside the US. Two purchases made with different payment methods both immediately received "unable to process order ".. one is pending on credit card, the other payment posted via PayPal. Only saw these reviews after... I had seen from reddit others claiming it was legit. Is there any hope for me ???

Its already been almost 2 hours since i purchased a simple 10$ Roblox Giftcard. By now i still didn`t receive it. The first email is unable to process or something like that and then i got an email for it confirming that it went thru. Well it took money from my mothers bank and didn`t receive any giftcard with the code attached to it. This is taking to long and i just needed it for something quick.
As of now 06/02/2025
I received my refund but not in totally. Received the 10usd but in the bank it says like 40 ron which is like 9 usd or even more. Basically they ripped my mom off a dollar.

I tried today to buy a $300 roblox gift card. When I "Bought it", it sent me a order receipt and seconds later I receive a email saying "Unable to process your digital gift card". When I checked the status of the gift card it said returned; however, when I checked my bank, I saw no pending refunds. I decided to give them another chance with a less amount and the same thing happened. Don't trust this cash grab company!!!

Ordered a gift card from Nordstrom that I didn't received. I was told to call Cashstar. Called twice and both times I got put on hold for over 20 minutes and then the call disconnected.

I wasted 560 dollars, on PSN gift cards. They charged my bank account and did not deliver any gift card. I need my money back or preferably the actual code, I don’t know why but I used them in the past and purchased a 10$ gift card and 75$ gift card and all went smooth and received my codes but this time around I put too much trust in them and got screwed. Please I need my money back, you can’t just take money without delivering the products while I am being redirected from PlayStation website

I’m extremely frustrated with the way @PlayStation / Gift Card Support has handled my issue. I accidentally purchased a USD gift card while based in Europe — and it turns out I can’t redeem it because of currency restrictions that weren’t clearly communicated at checkout.
I reached out for help and was told I could place a new order in euros and then cancel the original one. That seemed fair. But now I’ve received the exact same copy-pasted response THREE times from a support rep (Alexis S.), refusing to acknowledge my situation at all.
It feels like the support team is either not reading my messages, or they just don’t care. I'm not asking for a refund — just to exchange the unusable USD card once I buy the correct one. That’s not unreasonable.
This kind of robotic, unhelpful customer service is unacceptable. If you sell gift cards internationally, your system should either block incompatible purchases or clearly warn users upfront.
I’ve wasted hours trying to resolve this, and I’m no closer to a solution. If I don’t hear back from someone who can actually help, I’ll escalate through my payment provider and share this experience widely so others can avoid the same issue.
Do better.
EDIT: Even Maurice who was able to react in public hasn't reached out to me. If I could give 0 stars they deserve it.

Directed by Playstation UK website to buy a giftcard & paid in pounds sterling. When I printed it out to give to recipient I noticed the redemption terms said 'Redeemable only by users holding an account registered to Australia.' Despite being sure I'd bought a UK gift card, I tried again and the same thing happened - apparently only for use by account holders registered to Australia. Bought a replacement elsewhere and asked for a refund. Customer service replied to my email saying 'Your request has been deemed solved' which it most certainly isn't. The email goes on to say 'We will escalate your request for review to my support team.' So it would seem that the 'Gift Card Support Team' just exist to reply to customers to tell them they will forward their query to another support team! Absolutely useless.

Honestly the entire company needs to get shut down. I went through over hundreds of reviews and not one of them had good results. I spent $75 on a PSN gift card with CashStar and I didn’t get a confirmation email or anything at all. My money is gone and I don't even care for the gift card anymore. I need a refund immediately.
This is definitely a scam!!

I did not received my 50 usd playstation gift card. Cash star said that they cannot process my eGift Card Order from playstation. They said that they will refund any settled charges but based on the reviews it said that cash star was a scam. Very frustating from playstation and cash star!

Absolutely Horrible i paid £10 for a giftcard, at the same time i got 2 emails one of them was the receipt and prove of purchase, second email it was about that they couldn't process my giftcard order and the settled charges will be refunded, however i did not get any refund until today, STAY AWAY FROM THAT WEBSITE

I ordered a €60 gift card from the PlayStation website and once I completed the order I got an email saying that they were unable to process my order. The email stated that settled charges will be refunded but there is no sign of a refund in sight!

It's scam with a trap.. I bought 10$ card for myself and everything went well, since everything seemed to go well, I immediately bought a card for $50 and received email with message "Unable to Process Your eGift Card Order etc".
No refund, nothing.

Bought a $25 gift card, they took my money, and never gave me anything. Bought a $20 item because I thought my first order was bugged. Also took my money and refused to give anything. Reached out to support and got nothing. If no response is given, I will reach out and manually refund and, if needs be, file legal action.

Cashstar website is trash. Do not try to handle traffic if you cant. Server was down required constant refreshing. IP address flagged for "automatic activity" from the refreshing. Access blocked. And yet. The giftcards were all "sold out"

You will notice a repeating pattern here, reading other reviews. I tried a transaction for $150.00 for a PlayStation gift card. Bank flagged the transaction, but I approved. tried transaction again. CashSCamSTar showed a succesful transaction, but never send a voucher code, and both funding holds hit my bank. Now I am out $300.00 until payday, which ain't easy for a P1MP out here on the streets. Tried customer support, no help. "we are sorry....transaction holds are not our fault, will drop off in a few business days". So I guess there model is, snatch the money, earn interest on it for a few days, then eventually begrudgingly give it back if you make enough noise.

My daughter purchased a "digital Gift card" from Cashstar for my birthday. It was a $100 for Hubbl membership. I have been unable to get this added to my Hubbl credit because "I need a physical card number with a PIN", according to Hubbl who have also been less than helpful!. My approaches to Casgstar via web site have not been answered. I am in Australia.

These people scammed me out of my money!!! I purchased through Sephora and they provided a link that brought me to CashStar. Once I paid and put in my info they gave an error message that said something. Like “unable to process please try again or call customer support” tried again and then finally called support.
NO ANSWEr.
NO RESPONSE.
NO GIFT CARD!!! 😡🤬😤
Just took my money and ran. Called Sephora and they said it was nothing they could do. Calling my bank and reporting them to fraud department at my bank and the BBB.

I thought I was buying a gift card from the official playstation store after they redirected me to this website. Without the checking the url because I felt i was still on the official store and not this scam thing.
Money deducted but they sent an automated email before even capturing funds stating that they were unable to process the order.
Should blame Playstation for this scam too
