I have been using castr for over 3 years now at my church. At first I was very apprehensive due to my limited knowledge. BUT castr is very user friendly and we have not experienced any major hiccups. I would definitely say use castr!!!

I had to request a refund, It seems as if they do not know what they are doing. It could have been a great relationship, but it just seemed hard to get answers for what I needed.

if it have a free plan it was a worthy competidor with restream. Now only paid plans rule there so it quit the trustfull competition by themselves

I am genuinely pleased to have been given access to the TV Playout Beta account. The service has proven to be quite impressive, meeting our requirements even in its Beta stage. The functionality provided is commendable, especially in the context of livestreaming.

While the service has performed well overall, it's worth noting that being in Beta, there are areas that may still require some fine-tuning. However, these observations are minor in comparison to the service's overall effectiveness.

In particular, I appreciate the reliability and quality of the livestreaming capabilities. The platform has demonstrated its potential to be a robust and dependable tool for our needs.

I wish I could give them NO stars. I started using them when Vimeo threatened to raise our price. Castr agreed to convert a year's worth of hour-long live streams and even import our chapter markers from each livestream and gave us a guarantee that if it didn't work for us I could get a refund and move on. Seemed reasonable so I purchased the annual at $1250. Our results testing their livestreaming were awful. Our screenshare quality was extremely poor using their OWN recommended OBS settings. Then when it came time to update our web site with all of the new embed codes, the videos showed up on our site as tiny thumbnails and the chapter markers were not present. It obviously WAS NOT working for us so I asked for a refund and they fought us tooth and nail. After disputing this with my credit card company, it looks like we may actually get the refund. I will update this review if we do not.

Castr has the right price-quality ratio. Plus, we can stream to it with SRT. Castr off-loads our local systems by doing the various encodes for us in the cloud.

Castr is amazing. We’ve loved the ability to have our two churches use it in different venues at the same time - all under one account. It’s saved us some money. Our experience has been amazing. We wish we had the studio features for other times when we want to host interviews etc.

If we had an issue, you could live chat with support and they will go step by step to resolve the matter and stay there till the issue has been resolved. Awesome.

Castr works great for sharing our Sunday Services on line. The website makes printing invoices for reimbursement very simple. Castr has been wonderful to work with, I recommend them for your church!

Experience is good. It works nice and always. So a fine relaxed feeling when streaming funerals. It would be nice if i received a message when the account is almost finished so I can update it in time.
