We had many reservations when booking through Catalonia Holiday Lettings, from the multiple websites and being based in Denmark - all of which were unfounded.

We scoured the Internet for decent reviews, but found no information on the company whatsoever, other than an old Tripadcisor post asking similar questions to us, from many-a moon ago.

We took this as a good thing as we were certain any bad experiences would be out there for all to google - and I'm glad we did.

Our booking process was simple, our holiday home stunning and extremely reasonable.

Don't hesitate. Just book.

We booked a property above Banyoles with 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. It exceeded all expectations. large grounds with low level zip wire, slide table tennis, badminton and table football not to mention the pool, shaded terrace and 2 BBQs. All queries prior to arrival were quickly responded to and the owners of the property couldn't have been more accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company or property to anybody.

Booking process was easy and problem free. The house was better than expected. The owners were available daily to ask if we had any questions. The house and the surroundings were perfect for our reunion of 3 families.

Our experience with Catalonia Holiday Lettings was outstanding from beginning to end. From their extensive listings we found Casa de Montseny, a perfect house for our family of 8 adults and 5 children. Located in the delightful village of Viladrau, it was an hour from Barcelona, less than that from Girona, and in an area filled with one lovely village after another. The house was beautifully maintained and very comfortable, and the pool and lawn kept our children happy when we weren't on the move. The owners were available to answer any questions we had, but were never intrusive. Lisbeth and Bertel's recommendations about things to do in the area were invaluable, and they responded quickly to any questions we had. They are gracious and friendly, and I recommend their company with enthusiasm. Our children and grandchildren agree.

We have just returned from a brilliant holiday at Casa de Cuana - about 15 minutes outside Girona. This property was amazing - it had everything we needed for a party of 13 including a tennis court, private swimming pool, table tennis, lovely large grounds and a beautiful outside eating terrace with BBQ. The house itself has been beautifully restored by the owners and has so much character and plenty of space for everyone. It is in a perfect, secluded location along its own private drive. The service we have received from Catalonia Holiday Lettings has been second to none and we would thoroughly recommend them and this property.

I started my search for a Spanish holiday house (for 10 adults & 2 children) through a generic portal. I soon found that the properties that caught my eye AND matched my criteria were all dealt with by Catalonian Holiday Lettings (Lisbeth & Bertel). That immediately alerted me to the fact they only dealt with a certain quality of product. From finding the right property to fit our (at the beginning changing dates!) didn't faze them at all. All communications were dealt with swiftly and efficiently, as was deposit payment and additional instructions/directions, etc. Our group has been lucky enough to stay in some fabulous places and Castell del Puente was no different. A lovely old stone building with a shabby chic interior - the whole place had a very homely feel. Iris met us, showed us over the house, fetched a child's bed and came exactly on time at departure to see us off safetly. The pool was perfect, a very short stroll away with the added bonus of the pool house (complete with seating, kitchen, dining table, shower and wc's!). It was almost too much of an effort to walk back to the house each evening! Still, back at the house we made full use of the built in BBQ and various outside eating / sitting areas into the small hours every night. Great location (35 mins north of Girona), lush green and wonderfully isolated. Without hesitation I would (a) recommend using Catalonia lettings and (b) hope I have cause to use them personally again in the future. Thank you so much Lisbeth & Bertel (and your team) - I can now see why you fell in love with this part of the world.

We booked an apartment in the fantastic Casas Estamener-Piso building in the quiet village of Perafita and from start to finish it was a great experience. Communication with Catalonia Holiday Lettings was quick and extremely straightforward and Elizabeth and the other staff in the bakery could not have been more helpful. We had a wonderful relaxing break made perfect by the terrace looking towards the Pyrenees, the fabulous pool, and the availability of the bakery and deli just downstairs when we wanted to stock up on Cava or just about anything else!

I would definitely use this company in the future as their high standards were evident throughout.

Booked Masia Escalope for a family holiday (4 adults, 2 children). Beautiful location - accessible but with beautiful forest views all around. Very well maintained pool and a superb shaded area equipped with table tennis and other games. We only left the villa to shop all week. The booking was very easy through Cataloniaholidaylettings and the info sent in advance was really detailed and useful (directions better than satnav). We would love to return and would highly recommend this booking company.

We were looking for a place that could accommodate approx 22 people for a special birthday we found it in Mas Corbena. Great location great service and Bertel and Lisbeth were incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests had a great time as did we. Tae lady caretaker on site was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Look for war to using Catalonia Holiday lettings again.

We needed a property for a family get together/ holiday with 8 bedrooms and found one on this site. They were accessible, helpful and very quick to answer any of our questions. They had a good knowledge of the local area and of the property. Even when we had to change the dates of the holiday they negotiated with the owners for us. We had a super time in a splendid place. It was everything they promised.

Dealing with a foreign company is not usually easy but this simply was! From booking through to payment and directions and recommendations in the area it was fantastic. And as for the property....we have travelled the world staying in some great places and houses but Mas Carabassa beat them all. The quality of the house- including superbly comfortable beds and the cleanliness were exceptional. The property description did not do the house justice. The surprise of a tennis court and mountain bikes was a very welcome added bonus! Pep the owner who met us on arrival could not have been more helpful. Without hesitation I will be using Catalonia lettings again and would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting a quality holiday in a superb location for an amazing price. We will definitely use them again! Great company with great properties...go on take a look and then book!
