Just stay away from Cell C
Just stay away from Cell C. Do not reply on cell c. Even on 4G a simple 9mb file takes forever to complete downloading. Watching videos online is another story... They have been fixing my problem for the past 10 years now. I am done with this useless network. They should just shut down completely.

I contacted cell C because of unauthorized debits on my account,Monki contact center agent couldn't help me telling me I have failed security questions. How can I fail 5 personal questions?
The next thing she keeps me waiting for Tshepiso the manager and after holding for few minutes she tells me that the manager will call me back.

Account moved to debt collectors without informing me. I thought I was being scammed because they had incorrect amounts and different bank from Cell C
I am truly not happy with the service received from cell C. I was on a data contract with them which i then cancelled and paid what was due to move to a prepaid contract as the value was better. In November 2021 i called them to cancel because I was moving to another service provider. They debited my money end of November and end of December becuase I cancelled my contract on the 12 which they only informed me about after I enquired. Customer service was supposed to inform me that they will debit it twice because I cancelled In the new month. When they took the second debit in December I was not sure why do I put a dispute with my bank and stopped the debit order because I had cancelled In November. After having done that i called them and they explained the procedure and i was fine with that even though I was mad because they hadn't told me before hand. I requested to pay manually since i stopped the debit order and needed their banking details. They said they would send it to me but i never received them I had to call 3 times to get the banking details. In the meantime they sent over my details to the MBD which is debt collectors without informing me and so when these people call me i had trust issues becuase i wasnt sure why they have a different amount for me to pay with different banking details (though i wasn't able to pay R250) but all i needed was banking details. When I got the banking details the third time around i paid what they said i owe and nobody informed me the the MBD was still gonna call for other money on behalf of cell c becuase they had given them my account. My credit score went down 21 points all because of this (R250 which i could have paid first time around after saying I'm not receiving the banking details) honestly cell C how does this work now? Is this how you handle accounts?
Can't get my Fiber Line released for new ISP Connection
I received confirmation of my Cell C Fiber cancellation. I then contacted the support office to ask if they can release my line for the new ISP to connect. They were unable to assist me. The cancellation fees have already been paid. I just need you to release the line... Mission Impossible!!!!
Worst service ever
I bought a R300 airtime through the app on Sunday morning. The money has been deducted from my account but I stii(Monday evening) haven't got my airtime. Called the customer care center and I was told that thers nothing they can do since it's a technical problem 🙄. I'm very disappointed and I'm definitely porting to another service provider after getting my airtime. The lady suggested that I buy another voucher while waiting for them to sort out the problems. I mean what d hell😡

Cell C is a shame
Cell C is a shame, very disappointed by their service.
I've been with cellc for almost 4e years now but what I've encountered now it's disappointing. They over billed me on my monthly billing in July 2021,since then till to date haven't received my refund and they keep on over billing me. Cellc sucks as a company, it should just be shut down because there's nothing good about it. I will never ever in my life take cellc ever again and wouldn't recommend anyone to use it

We as a company are very disappointed in the service receive from Cell C. We have been with Cell C for several of years and have a few contracts with them. In July 2021 there was two numbers billed to our account, that we didn’t authorize and these numbers were unknown to us. We immediately, after receiving the statement with the invoice billed which was paid by debit order, informed Cell C about this - there are no more Cell C walk in shops in Bloemfontein nor Ladybrand. So, we called the customer services and emailed Cell C. After numerous of telephone conversations and sending emails, with different attachments, letters on our company letterheads, the matter has still not been resolved, but just extra costs doing these calls and communications. It has been four months now; nothing has been refunded or no credit has been made for this. We did as they asked with the letters and bank statement for proof, sent everything to the complaint department and to fraud. When we phone the customer services and speak to a consultant, they do not even have access to the case references loaded for this case reported, as there were plenty of case reference numbers sent to us, but Cell C customer services consultants do not see any case references for our account. This is unacceptable to be billed for numbers that is not ours. We will never refer anyone to Cell C. We rate Cell C services - extremely poor!

Cell C system has many problems such as draining of airtime and data, but they don't accept their responsibility and fix the problems. It happened to me recently that all the prepaid airtime and data disappeared one day and they did not want to reverse. My recommendation is that keep away Cell C.

CELL C IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER EVER
I have been trying to get my data contract cancelled for the past 2 months but with no luck. Because i relocated and iam not able to visit the branch anymore i send them an email beginning of Sept asking them to cancel my contract and nobody responds back to me but what they could do is to go and start debiting me twice the amount that they should debit. How ridiculous is this, they are good at taking people's money but when it comes to customer service they suck the most. This is unethical business practise and fraud to customers. Back in September someone responded to my email requested some documentation inorder to cancel my contract which i sent to them but no one bothered to do anything with it and now today someone came back to me again requesting for the same documents. Do they realise that they some of their clients are really busy and do not have time to duplicate work. My entire life i have never received such bad customer service especially for something that is so simple as cancelling a contract. i would never recommend cell c to anyone, my entire family uses cell c but now i have to switch them to another service provider asap.

Cell c's Fatally flawed billing system
This is the final request to cancel this deal, as the following people have continued to earn your salary while they flawed your billing system at my cost. Moses Mofokeng your social media customercare,Itumeleng from sales, Wendy from escalations, Michelle from escalations. These people all promised to resolve this matter to a decimal failure and no one looked into my case to hold them to account for 6months. Disconnected without notice. Nightmare To Resolve Account Queries
My daughter's number is on my account and it has been disconnected for the past month now and even after sending proof of payments, it remains the same.
When I called them to confirm the payments, the amounts I paid weren't the same as what the assistant picked up on their system, moreover, they cannot tell me how they allocate the different payments made to the same account.

Disappointing service received from Cell C after switching from Telkom LTE to Cell C. I bought data and my money was deducted and no data credited to my sim card. Even after providing everything requested regarding my transaction with cell C. My money taken to reach revenue and profit targets yet no data provided.

Lately Cell C has been horrible. My account was deducted daily by R3 for a long time before I picked it up. When I enquired customer service said it was some mysterious subscription service. This was explicitly done without my consent. The support staff are horrible, no-one appears to be in charge. There has been a drastic decline in customer service standards. Avoid at all costs.

Can someone please fix my account today. I need my phone, insurance can't give me my new device apparently because of the following reason: "Kindly note that your policy is hot-lined and we cannot process your order". Account was debited on the 20th of September but no one seems to assist me, has been sending the proof of debit yesterday (was sent to 3 people already), what I hate more is that no one comes back to me with feedback. '***********', '***********', Called this morning, on hold for 20 minutes only to find out that neither Nthabiseng or Buthelezi has logged a case yet. Have to wait another day or 2 before I get feedback, mind do, I have no phone at the moment as insurance cannot proceed. I have been a loyal Cell C customer but now I feel they are incompetent.

My contact with cell c ended in January 04 2021 but it seems cell c company when they have your banking details their contracts are endless they will keep on deducting money monthly from your account.I regret ever taking a contract with them cause even if you call their customer service, you will be told that the system shows that the contract has ended and they can’t help me and they don’t know why am I still being charged. I have even went to their different shops to be told the same thing.
