Pathetic service with cell c
As a cell c customer with 4 contracts you will not be able to do a simple SIM swap with their pathetic systems and services. I have made over 10 calls and either I didn't pass authentication I didn't have the right SIM card. They systems didn't generate the questions and by the way I'm still waiting for the team leaders to call me back twice they promised and still no call. The evidence doesn't lie I have all recordings pathetic
Horrible Customer Service
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible customer service! I get phoned to inquire if I am renewing my contract after I have told them multiple times that I won't be renewing my contract. Today I get phoned by one of their call center agents, I couldn't hear a thing as some guy in the background is yelling and laughing. I had to ask the guy to repeat himself 5 times.

On the 28/03/2023 I was mugged and my phone was taken. I called CELL C to block the phone using my box with the IMEI number on it the same day. The phone was blocked using my Identity number and other personal information as well as my number and device description. An ITC number was given by CELL C on the same day I went to the police station to open the case. The case number was given and on the 01/04/2023 I went to CELL C in canal walk with my Identity document and the box as well as the affidavit with the case number. They assisted me to claim from CELL C INSURANCE DEVICE on the 0
3/04/2023 I did a follow up. Cell C insurance device they advise that they will not be able to process the claim as the IMEI number on the box does not match their IMEI number on their side. This was shocking as they blocked the phone from CELL C using that IMEI no and gave an ITC number. My phone box also has that IMEI number. They advised that I must take a picture of the box including the IMEI number I did that but still they refuse to process the claim as they advise that IMEI number does not belong to the Samsung galaxy I own. This is frustrating and confusing as I followed the process on my side and blocked the phone the same day and they did not alert me that day when blocking that the IMEI number does not belong to the phone. They even went as assisting me processing the claim. Now I am stuck with no phone and yet they deducted the money for contract as well as the insurance on 20/04/2023. Please assist what can I do. People please be aware of CELL C when doing business with them. They are calling me now do an upgrade as I'm due for another upgrade and am not sure if I will renew my contract with them after this mess. I cant even go to other networks as I am still paying them for something I don't have. It has been a month now
Canceled account years ago but still Getting R5 billing
A canceled my account with cell c a couple years ago. I have not used the Sim card or phone in years. I recently started uses my old phone as a back up at home. And to my utter shock they have been sending me R5 billing for no reason. I do not use their services and have no contract with them. I know calling customer service would not help since I don't have an active account and honestly their customer service is pathetic based on previous experiences it took me 4 months just to get them to cancel my account and stop billing me. I have no idea what to do and who knows how much money has been stolen from me.

Cell C customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I have written to CEO with no response after being shunted from pillar to post by customer service call centre agents. I cannot escalate to a manager anything and despite them cancelling my Sim erroneously, charging to have my number ported back, unable to reimburse me R6500 for a contract they erroneously cancelled with a sim swap, they still have the audacity to send a junior agent to call me for a security check and tell me I failed that after I passed 5 other security checks. Start by being accountable to your customers!!!! Best part is after this circus of being a loyal customer for years, I am told I need 30 days to port my number to MTN. This is after they cancelled my contract accidentally, cancelled my internationally roaming accidentally, ported my number back after I complained but put me on a contract that I did not sign for and then have the audacity after 10 calls and 40 hours of fighting getting nowhere...wait for it..telling me that you cannot port to another service provider as you are on contract now and have to go on prepaid??? What is worse, you have no head office number listed as numbers provided by Telkom are disconnected. You have no access to an executive to deal with the numerous complaints on social media? Your customer service call centre is there to screen and squash calls by giving referance numbers but never resolving queries. Surely, your organisation should have transparency on your website to show how unresolved queries can be handled by an executive or referred to the ombudsman/board?

What a useless service provider I pity myself for joining this network one of the worst networks I have ever used. I think it the third time I experience sim card crash now and I am using a dual sim card phone with an mtn network working fine but cell c sim card kept on crashing and I am using my cell c number for alot of my personal business. I am so ashamed of being a cell c loyal customer let alone I have been changing my cell phone numbers for quite sometime now and they will tell me they can't bring old sim number back even when I try doing sim swap uhh even now they will not help me with this crashed sim card no matter what . I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with my recent experience while attempting to purchase a new cellphone from your company online.
Last week, I placed an order for a Samsung Galaxy A53 in black, and I was informed that the phone was in stock and available for delivery. I was also told that the phone would be delivered to me the following Friday. However, when Friday arrived, I did not receive the phone as promised.
When I contacted your company to inquire about the delay, I was informed that the phone was out of stock. This came as a shock to me as I had been informed earlier that the phone was in stock and available for delivery.
As a result of this misinformation, I am left with no phone and have been unable to use the device as intended. To make matters worse, I urgently require a phone for my daily activities.
In light of this situation, I would like to request that you provide me with a Samsung Galaxy A73 as a replacement for the A53, which I had initially ordered. I will accept this device from your company, provided it is currently in stock and available for immediate delivery.
The only reason I signed up for the A53 contract was because it was the only phone that was available in stock, and I require a device urgently. I trust that you will understand my frustration and take appropriate steps to ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Care???? Nope. a Very Big frustration. They took money from my bank account, and I logged a query; they sent a message saying the problem was solved. It was not. They said they phoned to explain why they took more money as agreed upon. I never received a call from them. I called them again, but they could not give me any answers as they said I was not the account holder. They could not verify me. Ridiculous.

Cell C steals your money by deducting early debit orders (NOT AS PER CONTRACT) and causes banking costs. After almost 3months of fighting today, I got an SMS to state that they will not refund me my banking cost which THEY caused. Please people find other service providers.
