I cannot thank Century 21 enough especially Peter Lott. We had a few bumps along the way but Peter was always on the end of the phone for us and worked tirelessly to ensure we got our little bungalow which we absolutely love. We used this company for our buying and selling and would recommend them to anyone.

Bedford Branch Absolutely Useless

Absolutely useless. Bedford branch under new manager but remain completely void of organisational skills, fail to respond to phone calls, or emails. Still sending quite threatening sms demands for rent payments, despite the fact property was vacated and appropriate notice given at the end of tenancy. Have tried repeatedly to get them to stop but they ignore all efforts. They just don't give a damn. Do NOT use these agents. Read the reviews, they are almost universally slated!

Reading brunch! No quality, just excuses!

Reading brunch! So agent assume that previous tenants did not know how to use central heating (well as he), so is fair to not maintenance it (just switch it on) and be sure that property is in right condition for tenants and landlord. As he said I’m not engineer. He inform us that everything is fine it’s just tenants can’t set it. People who live in that flat before was an older couple with poor English so they betrayed their trust. Now we 3th months during winter without help from them carrying the radiator from room to room. Unprofessional low quality sad stain on company opinion. In contract you got duty to maintenance the garden and take responsibility for all equipment which they do not check.
I’ll believe it’s a scam.

PETERBOROUGH OFFICE

We recently rented a property with Century 21, I could not be more impressed with Ben and Nicole, both have gone out of there way to assist our move at such a stressful time. All emails / phone calls answered and dealt with virtually immediately. We had a minor issue with the cooker hood and shower and a tradesman was knocking at the door within an HOUR! I would highly recommend using them....

Weybridge office

I used the weybridge office and Grant and Jo we’re very nice and always communicated with me regularly. They kept me up to date on the sale of our house and we’re always open and honest.

Avoid at all costs!

Toowoomba Office staff are rude, argumentative, openly hostile & will use intimidation/threats regularly. When asking questions you can expect to be lied to, harassed and essentially blackmailed into an agreement that won't help & Century 21 won't bother to action on their end anyway. Double check your invoices! Everything is overcharged & padded out!
Would never recommend.

Tried renting 2 properties from them

Tried renting 2 properties from them. Dont have a clue what they are doing. never ring you back and ignore emails. i even paid a deposit and they cant tell me when i can move in!!! Very poor service and its very annoying that i have to chase them up 3 times a day to get anywhere

Poor behaviour and rotten culture..Clermont l'Hérault

Dealt with their agency in Clermont-l'Hérault whilst looking to purchase a property in the area and the poor comments posted here by others are echoed in my case. Having repeatedly asked for property details to be sent to me so that I could organise visits in the area, coming from London to do so, (surely a basic function for an estate agent) I spent weeks chasing Clément (the young airheaded sales exec.) and speaking to their office to no avail. In the end I was fed a load of poor excuses and arrongantly dismissed because they are so busy. The words I choose to describe them are lazy and unprofessional. I'd be fuming if I had chosen this agency to sell my property and knew how they dealt with enquiries. Judging by what others have said, this is a company with poor behaviours and a rotten culture.

house was left absolutely spotless and in perfect condition I have a video as proof because I know what these company's are like, but yet this poor excuse of a letting agent have provided for keeping my disposit is disgusting I would not recommend using century 21 as they up the rent when your tenancy is up and pointing out pathetic things to keep your deposit, my mother is a landlord with multiple propertys and would be more than happy if she received her property back in the way i left century 21s property they give poor excuses like the smoke alarm battery is dead and a missing light bulb and dust on radiator cap and just general wear a tear which they higher a trade man from a third party company instead of letting have access to the property to fit a new battery and replace a light bulb and wipe dust of radiator cap avoid at all costs

Amateurs

My partner emailed regarding a property to let, they said they would contact her, they didn't. She rang them a few days later, still no contact from them. I emailed them and got a response within the hour. Working 12 hours, 5 days a week Its hard to view a property on an estate agents 9-5, the first person i dealt with weren't willing to accommodate this saying that 5pm is the last time they can really do and they don't work weekends. Booked for 5pm on a weekday. got the time off work to only get a call 15 minutes before saying that no one would be available as the viewing wasn't booked in properly. Re-arranged for a Saturday at 11am (even though they don't work). it got re-arraned again for the afternoon and the agent was still late. I understand that you might not make commission on a letting. but we definitely won't be going to Century21 for buying. amateur

Maidstone Branch Poor Customer Service

Briefly used Century 21 in Maidstone to try to sell my flat. No feedback on any viewings and no follow up when contacted. Very disappointing overall service. Unfortunately as I was talked into going with them as a multi agent sale it cost me with no return on my money. I wouldn’t consider ever selling with Century 21 again!

Used Hayes & Southall Century 21 branch to manage my property & had nothing but trouble & bad admin. I see from credit checks online that they do not pay their suppliers so can't believe that I'd trust them with my house ever again!!

Be careful very underhanded dealings

Be careful very underhanded dealings, we paid 5,400 upfront for renting a house, all references went through, we had informed wasim that we had pets verbally and also written it in all documentation, and we were told that was fine. On the day we were supposed to receive the keys they breached their contract, which had been signed in their office, witnessed by Waqar and other members of staff and signed by the landlord and ourselves, we did not get the keys and are still awaiting our money back. We have had to pay for legal advice and now have to take the matter further.
Not trustworthy at all do not hand over money to these people

this company, steer clear !, bad experience, pushy all the way, with only their own gain at heart,really inexperienced staff,id been with this company to sell my house 1 yr with nothing positive, soon as i exchanched to the nxt company i'd sold my house within a wk, goes to show.
