Keep away from Cerberus

Nevermind having the most unfriendly and useless costumer service.
The worst thing is that they'll tell you that you'll get the best internet FTTP . . . The thing is . You won't. I have my router in the middle of my house .

5G is only working once a week and I never get wi fi in my downstairs bedroom or in my upstairs bedroom.

On the other hand I can easily pick up signal from 3 different neighbors with 3 different providers .

In the garden I pick up signal from 7 routers and none of them is mine .

They also increased the price during my contract ...you know ...just because they know no one will bother taking them to court .
I won't even wait for the last 3 months of my contract to get rid of this useless company.

Stay away from this company.

You've been warned.

I'm sorry you are having problems. I can't find your details on our system but it looks like you may be associated with an order that went live in 2018. I don't see a support case raised for any wireless network or speed issues, so if you are having problems, I would suggest that as a first port of call.

If you are having wireless network issues with the router, it may be a good idea to update the firmware. If that doesn't work, I am sure we can take a look and see what is happening.

Looking at the order that may be yours, I can see that there was a promotion running that reduced the rental for the first three months. The rental would have increased after that point but we haven't made any other billing changes.

I hope this goes some way to addressing your concerns. Please do give us a call on 0345 257 1333 and we'll be happy to help. As we don't have a number for you, I am not sure of the best way to reach you.

Product is as promised

Product is as promised. Super fast broadband, excellent customer portal, customer service has thus far been good. It has been about 6 weeks, thus far no service disconnects and no dropoff in speeds. Consistent 300+ mb up, 30+ down, and low latencies (low single digit ms).

Faultless thus far

Some initial issues were dealt with quickly and were more associated with OpenReach.

Since the system started we have had no issues with bandwidth or stability; solid package all round.

Fttpod

I’ve just had fibre to the premises on demand installed after about 16 months
Cerberus have been okay but sometimes on the weekly update it seems to me they are talking about two different jobs most of the time and towards the end just as I was about to have the fibre installed the communication wasn’t the best

Great fibre broadband even though we are in the country.

So far all is excellent. Delay in initial installation was caused by Open Reach who seem so pedestrian in their management’s approach to providing service to the end user. Aneta at Cerberus kept on top of things and pushed as much as she could which was very helpful. System up and running now. Delighted to have fibre broadband even though we live in the country.

Decent network but with a lot of hidden…

Decent network but with a lot of hidden things if u don't scan your contract properly. Main gripe was the Crappy Zyxel Router that comes as standard when ordered, i spent so much time complaining about drops n disconnections till i smashed the router in frustration. I purchased a replacement TP-Link AC1750 & all has been smooth and perfect since! So if you are ordering with the Zyxel router, be prepared for drops and issues with it.

Also at the end of contract, there seems to be a termination fee to pay, all hidden in the tiny print of course. Anyone using this provider after going with more popular providers will be shocked with this charge, so be prepared!.

Cerberus did a good job

Cerberus has done well managing a slow and difficult FTTPod installation. I would recommend them even though the entire FTTP process is painful.

FTToD order

FTToD order, very happy with communications from Cerberus. I think over 9 months I only had a handful of missed updates. The updates they give are always a week or two behind, but thats clearly OpenReach giving them a delayed status update.
Connection speed good so far, brief conversions with tech support good. At this point(only a week or so after going live) I would certainly recommend them.
