Very disappointing for long term customers

Wish I could give more. Its very very rare to be able to buy anything for rrp since all of the pre orders for new releases went to invite only. I've been a customer for a few years, yet the invite to purchase does not take that into account at all. I get next to no invites and 99% of the purchases Im able to make are for above rrp items. Yet Im seeing people new to the hobby getting invitations to purchase on regular basis. Very discouraging for a loyal customer. Other sites seem to take purchase history and loyalty, Ive suggested this once before and Im suggesting it once again.

The challenge we face is that demand for many Pokémon products significantly exceeds the stock available to us, meaning that even with a product drop system in place, many customers will unfortunately miss out on invitations. We understand that this can be especially frustrating when you have supported us for a number of years.

We appreciate your feedback regarding loyalty and purchase history being considered as part of the invitation process. This is something that has been suggested by a number of customers and forms part of the ongoing discussions around how the system can continue to evolve and improve.

The product drop process was introduced to give as many customers as possible a fair opportunity to purchase highly sought-after products at RRP, and we continue to review customer feedback after each release to see where improvements can be made.

What a great buying experience

What a great buying experience. Saw a game at an event and had a browse online. These guys had it so I ordered it, I thought I made a mistake and Andy replied in next to no time! Amazing customer service and on top of that they shipped it the same day, I got it the day after. Can’t get any better than that. Will definitely be a customer here again when looking for games in the future.

Pre-Order

I purchased a pre order and they took my payment as pending, i never received a confirmation email. I followed up and was told they all sold out and I would have to wait for the product drop. Money was return but very unwilling to help.

Unfortunately, during periods of exceptionally high demand, it is possible for a transaction to fail to complete before stock sells out. In these circumstances, a pending payment may appear on your account, but no order is created and no confirmation email is generated. Any pending funds are then released back to the customer by the payment provider.

We understand how disappointing this can be, particularly when trying to secure a popular pre-order item. While we are unable to allocate stock to orders that have not successfully completed, we are continually reviewing our systems and processes to improve the customer experience during high-demand product launches.

Cancelled my order randomly

Cancelled my order randomly without communication. Went to buy again, stuck on the processing payment screen then OOS. Allowed many others to purchase.

The product you were attempting to purchase was released during a period of exceptionally high demand, with stock selling out very quickly. In these circumstances, it is possible for customers to reach the payment stage while stock levels are changing in real time. If a transaction does not successfully complete before stock is exhausted, an order is not created and any pending payment authorisation is automatically released by the payment provider.

We appreciate that this can be disappointing, particularly when you have already invested time trying to complete a purchase. Demand for some products currently far exceeds the quantities available, meaning we are unfortunately unable to fulfil every attempted order.

We apologise for the frustration caused and thank you for your feedback as we continue to improve the experience for customers during high-demand releases.

All round excellent

Use this place alot: Great website, good preorder system (I have used several times), wide range of stock (including my niche interests), responsive 'can-do' staff, quick delivery, careful packing. Not been in person, but friends say they have alot of events. Folkestone near motorway: I am tempted to go look in

Random my arse

Went on website to register on what they call product drop . I actually said notify me on 8 different items and received no notification on any . Was told it was random but haven’t heard 1 person get it random plus you would think that there was a good chance of getting 1 out of 8 . There still advertising this same product drop even though they have no stock . I think it seems to be a marketing ploy or they just supply big hitters so random involved

Demand for some Pokémon products is significantly higher than the stock available, with many thousands of customers often registering their interest. Unfortunately, this means that many customers who sign up will not receive an invitation, even if they have registered for multiple products.

To be clear, invitations are not reserved for particular customers or "big hitters". The purpose of the product drop system is to provide as fair an opportunity as possible for genuine customers to purchase highly sought-after products when stock is extremely limited.

If a product drop remains visible on our website after invitations have been issued, this may be because additional stock is expected, a future drop is planned, or customers can still register interest should further opportunities become available.

We understand the frustration of missing out on popular releases and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Delivered fast but terrible packaging and would not advise them to use their logo on their packaging as someone has tried having a peak into the box at some point in it’s journey to me.

Pretty rude customer service and…

Pretty rude customer service and ridiculous return policy. Wouldn’t let me return an item I got a second copy of for Christmas even though it was still shrink wrapped and had their own label on it. I still had a receipt for the original but they couldn’t care less. The manager literally just ignored me and gave me the silent treatment on the phone for about 20 seconds. It was so rude. I was also lied to. I have returned an item to them before and exchanged it without a receipt and they were fine with it a few years ago but this time the manager said “yeah we have never let anyone do this since the day we opened.” I have spent potentially over a thousand pounds in this store over the many years I have purchased from them but now they have lost my custom with their rudeness. Nevermind, there are plenty of other stores I can use instead online.
