Charlotte at Chapter Law provided an excellent service. She was also honest and with everything we asked.
Everything was carried out on line which suited our work life.
When we had questions they were very quicky answered. Never once did we think they were taking too much time to complete the various stages.

Chapter Law recently acted on our behalf in the purchase of a property. We found the conveyancing solicitor to be professional and considerate, taking time to explain things in layperson terms. She made sure we were kept informed of progress and was prompt in the provision of advice. Due to her efforts, we were able to exchange and complete on the same day which was crucial for our needs. We would definitely use this company again.

I became a customer on the recommendation of AP Morgan Northfield. My first sale (which fell through at the exchange) began well with the app updates and prompt contacts from the team. But as time went on I would go several weeks without any updates. I found that a lot of the staff had left the company so there was little continuity.
I cannot fault Chapter Law for the second sale (which did complete). They have certainly improved immensely.

On our recent purchase buying our new house, Jennifer has been great in rushing things through from exchange to completion, she worked so hard sorting things out so quickly. Very pleased with how it turned out!

Absolutely dreadful experience with Chapter Law, we used them only because AP Morgan had recommended them and I wish we hadn't.

All started well, we sent everything that was needed and they asked for more information about a gift, which we provided. They then called and asked for more information on the gift so we organised to get them everything they'd asked for. We then had a other call to say they weren't sure everything they'd asked for would be sufficient. The main man then called my husband saying he's dropping the case as its too complicated for his team.

I called and him, hoping to find a resolution but he was not willing to speak, he kept reiterating his mind was made up, it was too complicated and he wouldn't be taking our case. He also refused to tell me when our deposit would be refunded into our account until I really pushed it with him and he then agreed he would let us know by COP that day (Friday). The arrogance of the man was unbelievable, he said he understood we were upset but he was just as upset losing commission. I had to explain that at 36 weeks pregnant, I think I was more upset with the stress of having to find a new solicitor.

Friday he called my husband back and said we'd have the money by the end of that day, we didn't. I called first thing Monday morning and the lady explained it hadn't even been processed with the admin team.

We found another solicitor quickly, explained the entire situation and they said Chapter Law were overcomplicating the entire thing.

Excellent service good communication, Malcom couldn’t have done anymore to take our sale through to completion without any major problems. Thank you .

My case was managed by Caitlin at Chapter Law who I must say has been the best I've dealt with when it comes to communication and keeping me informed. The case wasn't without it's issues but I found Caitlin to always be on top of things and pro-active with her communications to me. I never had to chase for information. Couldn't recommend more highly! Thanks for all your hard work.
