Everything went smoothly re delivery and the 2 guys did their job perfectly. Maybe think about electric stair climbers for delivery guys as they had 60 steps to get to my (top) flat. (Cooker and washing machine)

I was very pleased to be awarded the energy grant of £150 in 2025.
Also then applied and was granted an updated appliance as my tumble dryer was 25 years old and no longer working.

I had a really positive experience with Charis. Through one of their support schemes, I was able to receive a free washing machine and tumble dryer at a time when I really needed help.
The process was straightforward, and the support made a big difference to my household. It took a lot of stress off during a difficult period, and I’m very grateful for the assistance provided.
I would definitely recommend Charis to others who may be eligible for support, as their schemes can have a real impact on everyday life.

A Valuable Lifeline
Unexpected bonus after applying to the EDF Support Fund was being invited to apply for a new energy efficient kitchen device.
Since moving into my flat the only thing I hadn't yet bought for myself was a cooker. I applied, thinking that it wouldn't go anywhere as there would be more needy cases ahead of me.
To my surprise the application was successful and the cooker was delivered and installed last week.
Big help and expands my limited menu greatly for future grocery shopping. The only negative is that I could only have a white cooker whilst my other appliances are black but it's cosmetic only!
