HORRIBLE staff & very low quality…

HORRIBLE staff & very low quality products and work - a "permanent" make up- combination brows for which I have paid nearly 200£, lasted for 1 WEEK!!! I could have just coloured them at home and would've lasted longer! I wouldn't recommend to anyone, keep away from these ignorant, rude and entitled type of people working there. I have contacted them after I had noticed that mostly all the colour has faded from the brows, not just becoming a lighter tone - like they state it's part of the"process of healing", but GONE for good, like it was mainly nothing done to them. For that price?? They should state the price is for a WEEK worth of results, after that no one cares about you as a customer, you're being called rude names and state you were informed upfront, DARLING NO ONE IS INFORMED UPFRONT that a colouring(if I can even call it that) of brows costs 200£ and would last about a week and would go ahead with the procedure. YOU ARE JUST LYING to customers that it will last months, whereas the reality of what your salon offers under the name of permanent make-up is more or less a 20£ threading and colour of the brows like in an Indian salon for brows. DISGUSTED

I feel this review is very unfair Alex,

It has been just a week since your treatment and as explained to you the intensity of the pigment does change over the 4 weeks of healing it is very common for clients to lose pigment in the first few weeks after the treatment however this does return when the skin has fully healed after a 30 day period, it's at this point that we invite you back for a top-up to perfect the brow.

This was explained to you prior to your treatment accompanied by documentation supporting this.

We are here to help however we can not accept abusive or aggressive behavior.

Appalling customer service

I had an eyebrow lamination done at the salon, staff were friendly and treatment was ok. The same day I noticed a lot of redness on and around my eyebrows which I thought was normal. I woke up the next day and my eyes were swollen shut. I am now a week on and I’m still suffering. I’ve tried to contact the salon via Instagram, email and even called where I left a message and my phone number and no one has still got back to me. I’m absolutely disgusted.

Lip Filler

Very good staff, positive and friendly. Regarding my lips - They are amazing! Work carefully, cleanly. The hyaluronic acid was applied evenly (without lumps), my lips are smooth, beautiful and natural. After the procedure, an hour later I did not feel any pain or discomfort. Thank you!

The best lip fillers!

I have been coming to Charmelle for 2 years now and every time I am blown away by the service. Charmelle really takes the time to get to know her clients and engages in detailed discussions to gauge exactly what it is the customer wants. I also bought my sister along who got really nervous and faint during her treatment (she hates needles) and Charmelle was so patient and calm, pausing until my sister felt ok to continue. The salon is so clean and the the staff are friendly and helpful. I have had dermal fillers elsewhere before I found Charmelle and none compare to the quality she provides. Thank you again.

Damaged Skin from Laser Hair Removal

Absolutely DISSATISFIED!! Skin was left DAMAGED with white spots lacking pigment after laser hair removal treatment!!

I contacted support to try to remedy the situation and the clinic manager was sarcastic and rude! She insisted that I had a condition that was on her waiver even though I had the opposite of what she was explaining. Not to mention that a waiver does not protect them against their own negligence. She said unless I sent pictures (of a very intimate area) she didn't believe me. She then said that I had declined to have it assessed by her staff, when actually the UK went into lockdown preventing me from attending. After that she simply stopped replying!!

SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!

I was not given a refund even for the remaining unused treatments but do not want to return in case they damage my skin further.

Hannah was lovely and made me feel…

Hannah was lovely and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She was very attentive and made sure I was happy with my eyebrow . I had a little problem with scheduled time but was rectified. Overall, the experience was great and will definitely use again.

Unprofessional customer service: All 5 star reviews are probably by the team

I have had the most unpleasant experience with the “customer service” team. I was communicating with Jessica over *email* and had sent some photos of my lips for an enquiry, she said she will have those checked by the semi-perm makeup artists - there was no response so I emailed again, she said the picture doesn’t load so I sent another email. Throughout all of this I was really patient and polite. After a few days there was no response so I emailed for a follow up as I thought they might be busy - no reply since. I reviewed this on google and very shockingly the owner stated that I have been replied to via online chat when it is through email that we have communicated. She also misses out the part where Jessica *stops* replying to me - which was the whole point of my review. Instead of an apology and some accountability I am being blamed? Why would I make this up? If I was being communicated with why I would I leave a negative review? I am also pretty certain the 5 star reviews are submitted by the team because there is no way such dishonest people can provide 5 star customer experience. Save your time and go to somewhere pleasant like Harley street who pride themselves on their customer service.

So happy with my experience at this…

So happy with my experience at this salon!!! I’ve been having the body contouring procedure on my stomach- done by Kelsey. I am so impressed, as I’m already starting to see results. I’m only halfway through my course and I have noticed a noticeable difference- I’m getting slimmer and my skin is getting tighter! Cannot wait to see the finished results once I finish my course. Would definitely recommend Kelsey for this, really lovely girl and very knowledgable too.

I did pigmentation with Hannah and I regret so much. I was all the time telling exactly what I wanted and she didn't realize, she kept doing totally different. I left almost crying...

Loved it

Loved it. Very accommodating. The hydrofacial was good as it was my first time she made me feel very relaxed. Didn’t see a significant result but I guess I have to complete more sessions in order to to see full results. Overall I’m pleased with the service

To whom it concerns -

I have asked you to take me off all mailing -

I booked an appointment after 3 weeks of speaking to various beauticians - paid the deposit - chose a time and date online - to be constantly contacted daily for no real reason - and then appointment cancelled as i was not happy with being messed around.

Poor customer service - I was told they couldn't accommodate me - WHEN I ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION i wasn't given one- i went to Birmingham - very good SPM artist. brow ability or what
- if the service is like that before hand - god knows what assurance is given afterwards

TAKE ME OFF YOUR MAILING SITE - REMEMBER YOU DON'T VALUE MY CUSTOM - TYPICAL

As you are aware we had just reopened after a worldwide pandemic and 3 quarters of our staff where still furloughed meaning our appointments where limited,  we are all trying our very best to adjust to a new normal with our clients in mind.

You were called 2 days after your booking was made to explain that your technician of choice would no longer be returning to work until October(Due to health issues) and that your appointment would need to be rescheduled by 2 hours with a different technician or cancelled with a full refund of your £25 deposit.  You were extremely rude to me on the phone, personally attaching myself unnecessarily and refused a 2-way conversation.

We have tried our best to accommodate you with a months notice to change you appointment by 2 hours or an alternative date which you refused both options.

We go out of our way to give our client the best service possible however it very challenging if the receiver refuses all efforts.

We generally appreciate all feedback however in this case Archana your feedback would be completely unfair and unwarranted.

At a time where the world is on its knee, we should try to be more understanding and kind to one another.

That being said the team and I are glad to hear that you found the right brow technician for you and we wish you all the best.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I would give this business 0 stars if I could, I saw the nice reviews and thought I’d try the business but I received pain and no remorse, extra pressure added on and refusal of refund when a complaint was raised, save your money and go elsewhere!

We are sorry to hear that you deemed the treatment uncomfortable as our clients generally feel minimal discomfort I will say that your technician was continuously checking in with you to ensure you where ok in which you repeatedly reassured here that you felt mimium discomfort during he whole procedure and where happy with your treatment. As mentioned to you in your consultation and in the documentation you where provided client can feel uncomfortable at time due to the nature of the treatment however our technicians do our best to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Great experience

I recently had dermal fillers here for a second time, both time’s I was treated so well and with such reassurance and kindness (especially as I was quite nervous!) I never felt rushed or unwelcome and will definitely be coming back and recommending to all friends and family as I absolutely loved my results!
