Excellent service and friendly staff

The ladies at the salon were all so lovely ! I called to make an appointment, the day I went in and they booked me in with Josie … I have never had such a fantastic hair cut! She listened to what I wanted .. gave some suggestions… and was so kind and friendly !

I just want to start by saying I really regret having to submit this review. However, I was there for a colour correction a few days ago and while the stylist was lovely and pleasant, after a few days of looking at it I am unfortunately not quite liking how it turned out. I came in last week to have a consultation with the stylist to discuss a colour correction as advised by your front desk as I wanted to go from a level 4 to a level 5 or 6. When I met with the stylist, she recommended doing a balayage instead as bleaching would dry out my hair which I agreed to because I trusted her expertise. My issues with the result are as follows:
-My 4 hour quote was for a colour correction instead of a balayage with 50 percent off. I wasn't going to fuss about not changing the quote to a balayage because it was a deal and maybe she needed to spend more time then usual for that service. I did not care about the price so much, I was just excited to have lighter hair. She did spend 4 + hours on what seemed like a typical balayage but I'm not sure it could be called a colour correction.
- My hair was down past my shoulders and I asked for it to be "cleaned up/trimmed maybe like 1.5 inches at most because I was growing it out. The cut is nice but it seems like more than 3 + inches was taken off the length in the front. It's important to note that I was just in to see Salvador in December for a trim and he did not need to take off much off the length so my hair can't be that damaged.
-The outcome of the colour is pretty but it looks more like foils than a balayage with tons of contrast with a little bit of light and lots of dark hair on the bottom.

In conclusion, this result is not what I was looking for and does not much look like other balayage that has been acheived on my dark hair in the past. I do know it is a process to go lighter and it can take a few appointments so I'm not dissapointed with the level, tone or colour used on my roots but I am wondering why it looks as streaky as it does and why wider areas of colour were not used to acheive that painted kind of look. I also have what feels like a chemical burn on my ear from product that is quite uncomfortable. She did try to wipe off a few times with a towel but I think we needed some water too.

I just want to say again that my stylist Josie was lovely and I really hate to do this because she worked so hard. She was pleasant to work with and I know she tried her best but unfortunately every time I see my hair, I dislike it more each time. When it comes to the length, perhaps there was a misunderstanding how much I wanted cut but it did take over a year to get to the length that it was so it is a bit of a bummer. If you agree, my hope is that perhaps another stylist could fix it if possible because it seemed like there was a disconnection between myself and the stylist. Otherwise, not sure if we could work out a partial refund and maybe I could get it fixed elsewhere before my trip. If you could please advise what my options are, it would be much appreciated. Thank you

They charged me extra $15
For extra colour my hair is not even super long plus I walked in. I never heard of someone asking for $15 for extra colour when you’re already charging me for long hair my hair is just below the shoulder which is long but it’s not until my waist to charge for extra colour. She just got some colour in second round and applied on the tips of the my hair and charged me extra. What the hell.

Martha did a great job giving me the cut that I asked for..I was also impressed that I was brought in at my appointment time.

The hair on both sides wasn’t at the same level, and she cut my daughter’s hair too short. She didn’t listen properly to my daughter’s request. I had to show her that the hair is not at the same length on both sides.

Stylist said he couldn’t lift to hilight because of existing colour. Upon researching it is possible to do. Second time in the last week that we have been disappointed with the service at this location.
Have had great service previously here and can’t express how disappointed we are.

Tianna is fabulous! I came in because I had gotten a haircut elsewhere which I didn’t like and Tianna did wonders! Will definitely be visiting her again.
