This company is terrible. Received the laptop we ordered in September 2017, but it did not suit our needs so we sent it back, which we had to pay for! We emailed them the tracking number, which they say they needed in order to issue our refund.
I emailed to ask when the refund would be processed, and the guy there James responded in such a rude and disgusting manner. I was totally shocked...1 week on we still have not received our refund. I cannot believe that a company in this day and age can operate like this. JAMES is so rude! I don't understand how you can tell me they issue refunds in 3-5 days, but will not say when the refund will be processed!!

I wish I'd have read the reviews on here before ordering from this company. Wanted a cheap laptop for my son in law so he could complete his electricians course online. Received the laptop promptly but it was faulty, no sound. Clearly it had been sent without being checked as this is a blindingly obvious fault. Had to return it myself and pay for the privilege. It has been received back by them and signed for but a refund won't be issued until I send them evidence it was delivered. So they now have the laptop but won't give me my money back. Please avoid under all circumstances.

I bought a laptop with 3 years warranty. It broke down after less than a year. For 2 months I've been trying to get in touch with them, but no response.

I believe it is a scam.

OMG! I really thought online companies like this had been consigned to the dustbin of history. But no, Cheap Laptop Company is proudly keeping the flame of ghastly customer service, non-existent or grossly misrepresented inventory, difficult to non-existent communications and barefaced lies alight. On inquiring where the laptop I ordered was, several days after it was supposed to arrive 'James', customer service superstar, offered the following: "I can't tell you where it is as my tracking system is not working for some reason." Really? I'm sorry but even if your "tracking system" has been taken out by a thermonuclear strike you can still find a computer somewhere and input the tracking number on the courier's website, or just give it to me and I'll do it. The real reason is, of course, that the laptop doesn't exist. It's a phantasm, a chimaera, a wisp, a dream, an image only. It will never arrive. Something might arrive, or not. Cheap Laptop Company are cowboys, grimly clasped to the bucking bronco of increased consumer power and online reviews. Frankly I'm amazed they even have a Trustpilot account. I have requested a refund but have zero confidence this will be done. I'm going to have to take it up with the bank. Like I haven't got enough to do. Cheers mate. I hope you fall off and never get back on.

I ordered a laptop from them 04/09/17 and emailed them to be told was out for delivery on Friday. Friday came no email to state otherwise asked for tracking information all day to no success I ordered this laptop for a customer of mine for her wee boys birthday that was on Sunday. I now have an angry customer as I can't provide information of its arrival and I'm now having to get PayPal involved. On a customer service point no answer using the telephone number and no answer using email I spoke to James who doesn't seem to care about customer service and answering the emails because when I did get the reply they were having a supplier issue . In other words they don't have the laptop.I will be contacting trading standards regarding the way they are operating. And hopefully people will see this company as what they are rip offs . Please do not touch as you will either never receive the laptop or get the wrong one I will be contacting the bank for a visa dispute .

Bought a Dell laptop from them. Received completely different model with apologetic letter inside saying that due to high demand I am getting alternative even though at the moment I was paying it clearly stated "in stock". Sent it back convinced that refunds take 3-5 days. 18 days later and after numerous emails money reached my account. Postage cost me £13 but according to their "companies policy" only £10 can be refunded. Money I am still waiting to come back.

Worst experience of my life! Avoid at any costs as you will never going to get what you buying. Only one thing you will get is a HUGE headache.

I ordered a Lenovo Thinkpad X220 I5 with 4gb on Friday and it arrived Tuesday lunchtime - earlier than promised, the laptop is spotless (as new) and the processor, memory and OS is just as promised.
The one issue is that my 'Free Laptop Bag' was missing which I will take up with them tomorrow.
Other than the bag for which I have to deduct one star, I am very pleased with the laptop and the service I have received.

I have ordered an HP laptop and instead of that I received a Lenovo ThinkPad in very bad condition ,dirty and when I contacted them they replied they send the Lenovo for better ,I asked for my refund but they want me to pay the expenses to send back the Lenovo.Not to trust this company.probkem still not solved,seems it's their tactic .

The laptop arrived one day late despite me paying for fast 3 day delivery. It was very difficult to get hold of support by phone or email. I asked for an additional 120 Gb SSD on top of the original 500 Gb HDD. Instead I got only the 120 Gb SSD. Thus a net loss of 380 Gb. The laptop is well used and probably not worth the 380 pounds I paid for it. I advise not using this company. Very unprofessional.

Ordered late Monday evening and arrived Wednesday morning.
Device arrived as advertised and in great working order.

Bought a laptop from them and was sent a completely different laptop with no invoice or paperwork to verify the make and model of the laptop that I had actually paid for. On emailing about this, I was told that the laptop that I had ordered was actually out of stock at the time of purchase and so I was sent a different one instead. I was asked if I really needed the specific make/model that I purchased since the laptop that I was sent was supposedly a like-for-like replacement - it was a completely different brand of laptop which had a lower hard drive capacity than the one which I purchased. It also did not have the upgraded RAM which I paid for as an extra.

I arranged to send it back for a refund to which I was told that the postage cost would only be refunded up to an amount of £10. It cost me £12 to post it back. I was told that the refund would be processed within 72 hours.

12 days later, I had no sign of a refund so had to email them again to ask where it was. Thankfully, it was then refunded very promptly. I asked when the postage costs would be refunded to which I was told that they are done separately and can take up to 10 days to be returned. It is now 3 weeks later and I have still not been refunded for the postage costs.

From reading other reviews, it is clear that the company operates by sending out laptops that are different/cheaper to the ones that have been ordered on the off chance that people may accept it and they get to keep your money. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

BEWARE - he uses a fake paypal page so you can't claim your money back. I was sent a laptop which crashed after a week and told they would only pay £10 towards a recorded delivery return. I'm not expecting to get my money back so I'm taking legal advice. The phone number is a fake - it's never answered. Please don't go near this cowboy.

Terrible experience with this company. The sent me a dirty damaged laptop which I immediately returned in the same condition I received. After rude and bad service they promised to refund me the money - they did not. It took over 6 weeks and a PayPal dispute to get them to pay. I have nothing good to say about this company unfortunately.

Waste of time and money, They didn't send me what I ordered. Looks like the stuff they sell are picked from garbage.
They send you whatever they have in stock, no matter what you have ordered.
Return, refund all mess, you have to chase them to get a refund,

I was a little apprehensive when readings reviews about Cheap Laptop Co but went ahead with my order anyway and I am very pleased I did.
I ordered the laptop (Dell E5430) on Wednesday evening and it arrived this morning (Friday) well packaged and well within 48 hours of placing my order even though I did not request or pay for express delivery.
The laptop is exactly as described in terms of installed hardware and software. The advert did mention some cosmetic marks to the casing but I cannot see them at all.
The laptop started up without any hitches and I have been installing various apps without problem. Also been watching Sky Go plus other streaming, again no problem.
Before I ordered I did ask a few questions on the laptop via email and these were answered virtually by return email.
I have ended up with a terrific laptop at a fraction of the price so with my experience I cannot fault Cheap Laptop Co. So; unless the laptop packs in and have no reason to think it will, I can only highly recommend this seller and hopefully your experience turns out as good as mine.

Avoid this company - they "sell" products they clearly do not have, and send you something different - could call it a scam, based on the number of reviews I've since read all saying they did the same thing?! I "bought" a refurbished laptop and was sent an absolutely filthy scratched ancient one with a standard printed note saying due to overwhelming demand they no longer had any that I'd ordered and were sending me an "upgrade" instead (joke?!!!). No contact details provided. When I found contact details on website, they didn't ever answer phone. Emails were replied to - told I could return it but only if tracked. Only when I asked them to confirm they would pay postage (based on failure to supply what I'd purchased) did they say ok, but only up to £10 - impossible to send this ancient thing the size and weight of a pile of bricks by tracked delivery for £10. They did finally agree to refund up to £15 when I argued the toss - managed to get it just light enough to send for £15 by removing some packaging tape. They received it (signed for it) Thursday, I didn't get a refund til Tuesday (after two more emails chasing it) but no postage refunded. Queried this - told it has to take 10 days to refund postage separately. Best thing is - they're still "selling" the item they don't have.

Paid for fast delivery within 3 days but never arrived.Contacted but no reply advertised with free laptop bag but it also never appeared.Phoned but no answer,customer service non existent.Had to buy a laptop due to urgency and now have two.

NASTY HORRIBLE PEOPLE. NASTY NASTY OUTFIT. CANT GET THROUGH TO THEM. RUDENESS. WRONG ITEM, MALFUNCTIONS. YOU END UP LOSING MONEY. Just save up and buy band new from a proper company like Amazon, Argos or PCWorld, and their product will last you for years, with good customer support. Or buy 2nd hand computers from people like the cheap laptop company time and time again over the same period..
