How about no contact? I have contacted them several times by phone and email but hear nothing in return.

Have this year bought 2 computers from this company both working well excellent value. Only reservation 1 computer had short lead from charger to plug.

Appalling!!!
Send ancient laptop, nothing like the image, it didn’t work properly. Emails were bad mannered and often didn’t respond at all. Refund took 11 days from receiving it back.
Ignorant! Bordering on fraudulent.
They haven’t refunded the £17.95 it cost to return the laptop either. Con artists.

The laptop I bought seems fine so far (Dell Latitude E6230) and they sent the free bag as promised. However I needed to claim the VAT back through my business but there was no VAT invoice, receipt or delivery documentation. They give a phone number but it always goes to answerphone which asks you to email instead. I sent two emails, no reply. Then they bombarded me with standard sales emails offering more laptops! In order to gain their attention I replied, not mentioning my receipt problem and someone called David emailed me asking how could he help. I guess he thought I was ready to buy again. So I repeated my request for a VAT receipt and he clammed up, no further communication.
I can't believe they are not VAT-registered, and if they are, why not say so?
This lack of communication does not bode well for claiming on a guarantee. There is no written evidence of a guarantee anyway.
I was going to give them two stars because the laptop seems ok, but the final straw was that the spam emails started up again. I can't believe the rudeness.

Didn’t get the laptop case, but the laptop itself is brilliant. Nice cute little thing, really happy with it.

Update: Realised the laptop does not hold it’s charge, will only work with the lead. It also has quite a lot of scratches underneath. It works, though. So i am hoping that it carries on. Did not get case though. There was a problem with my payment and although I informed him that he will get his payment, he has threatened and bullied me, telling me he is calling the police as I have committed fraud. Which is completely false. I think he wants the payment through quickly as he suspects the computer faults will make themselves obvious. In two minds as to what to do now, His bullying was over about twenty emails. Am so shocked at the way he behaved. I have been in business for a long time and I have never met anyone like this before.

Update, the computer has failed. So now I know why the bullying tactics. Do not buy from them at all.

Leave Well alone, this company does not honour guarantees, and doesn't answer Emails sent ,A most unreliable company.

I would advise anyone thinking of buying a laptop from this company to think again. They are absolutely appalling. We purchased from them over a month ago and returned the laptop within 7 days and we are still waiting our refund. They are extremely unprofessional in their approach and communication with them is awful, they simply ignore you. It cost us nearly £27 pounds to return to them and the product we received was not the product we ordered and it would not even work when we received it. Overall this company and their products are rubbish so stay well clear of them and purchase local and from reputable companies if you can. We are currently taking the matter further with Action Fraud and The Ombudsman so take our advice and avoid this company at all costs.

It was the wrong laptop.He said it was a free upgrade after I emailed him to complain.i said I was sending it back and he told me it had to be recorded delivery tracked ...which I did. I was told there would be a 10% restocking fee and I told him that wasn't right!.I paid £140 with a £10 discount ,+ £9 for 3 day delivery!
I got my refund after about a week but he only refunded me £125.10....so obviously took the 10% restocking fee which is out of order as they sent me the wrong laptop. It was rubbish as well!
Oh. And I also had to pay £14 to return it......so I am £30 out of pocket!
Never again......

Scary stuff. Based on the many recent poor reviews i have decided not to deal with Cheap laptop company.

I want to cancel my order soon as I saw the reviews, I phoned them no answer, emailed them no answer.

I ordered a refurbished laptop from this company and when it was delivered it was damaged, filthy, the keyboard didn't work and on boot up the hard drive was repairing. When I asked them to collect this they said that I would be responsible for sending it back. I did this, at a cost of £26.60 which was signed for by them, I still have not received a refund. I then went to another company for a similar refurbished laptop and it couldn't have been a more different experience.Try Refreshed By Us, great company and highly recommended. I urge you not to use Cheap Laptop Company unless you want a laptop which looks like it has been dragged out from under a students bed. PS - I begrudge giving this company 1 star.......

I ordered my laptop and it came within 5 working days. It died a few months later under warranty. I contacted them by email and they replied quickly with instructions on how to send it back. They even phoned me to ask me a question about it. 3 days after returning it, I received a new unit with my existing hard-drive. Very good customer service on my end

I bought a used Dell from the Cheap Laptop Company in January and a week ago it died. I contacted the Company by email and they were straight back to me the same day giving the return instructions. I had to pack this and pay for the return but this wasn't expensive. They received the Laptop last Tuesday morning and it was returned working perfectly with a new Hard Drive this morning (3 days later).
I can't fault this Company and would recommend them for both initial value and ongoing customer support. Well done guys!

Canna fault the Customer Service Dept. of this company.
Following an order being placed for a laptop I was forced to cancel it. The laptop arrived and was returned as directed by Customer Services. Today I'm informed that a full refund has been received into my account.
Thanks to their staff chap (David) who replied to me e-mails by return. And to the Company for such a friendly experience.

Ordered a Dell Latitude E6430 with 120gb SSD due to fast chip set for around £220 - is equivalent speed to more modern Dells for around £800 - price was very good, communication and customer service was very good and the machine itself is exactly what i wanted - very fast and able to multi task with ease and it has minimal (1 4mm crack and a bit of a scuff) cosmetic damage, nothing important is damaged , it looks good, performs well and comes with 1 year warranty - would definitely recommend and would use again

I ordered a Lenovo Thinkpad T410 with extra RAM to make 8 gb and 3 day delivery. While waiting for delivery I took a look at the reviews here and was horrified by all the bad write-ups and thinking I'd made a dreadful mistake. I could not have been more wrong. The laptop arrived by the third day, well packed, with the extra Ram installed, and is a truly lovely machine to work with. The keyboard is really great, the screen is very good and the computer is fast. The machine is very solid but lacks an inbuilt camera and I've had to add bluetooth and an HDMI converter but it has many compensating features which are unusual in a laptop and is an absolute delight to work with. So although it is an older, refurbished model I am enjoying using it in preference to a brand new, very good lightweight laptop with an SSD, which will remain my travelling preference because it is much lighter.

Sold us a computer that doesn't work and refusing to take it back.

Do not buy from this sham of a company. Sends wrong laptop , no apology, you have to pay to send back. Takes ages to get your money back. Very rude and abrupt. Plenty of jobs going in supermarkets etc so should pack this in and go and do something you might be able to do. STAY CLEAR.

Two phone numbers given on their two sites but the automated voice asks you for an email address for them to contact you which they do not do. They also do not answer emails sent to their two addresses - I have now requested a 'chargeback' from Paypal as my purchase has went faulty under 'guarantee' - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DO NOT BUY HERE or from their other site - Refurbishedlaptopsdirect

I had excellent service very happy with the lap top, after reading all the bad reviews after I bought it i was a bit worried, i had no need to worry.
