I've just bought and received a laptop from Cheap laptop today. I am very pleased with the product.
Got it before time schedule.
There was a minor misunderstanding concerning the order which we discussed throughout tree emails and they immediately corrected the mistake.

Purchased a laptop with this company without doing adequate research. Their site actually showcases a number of outstanding reviews from Trustpilot, which in hindsight is very suspect - as is their alleged 5-star reviews on google, which you cannot click to read.

My laptop was advertised as coming with Office 2016 and a free laptop carrier case. It came with neither. When I contacted them regarding this, they tried to charge me for Office 2016 and only reluctantly agreed to send me the carrier case as advertised. I was sick to death by this stage of having to deal with such untrustworthy practice and promptly sent the laptop back to them for a refund. That was a month ago and I am still waiting for the promised refund - even when I agreed to their deduction of a so-called "10% restocking fee".

Do NOT, whatever you do, have anything to do with this company. It will be, as I have learned, a complete waste of time and money.

*** DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE *** Laptop not working and in poor condition and would have needed over £200 of repairs just to get it into working order, irrespective of it obviously being very old and also covered in scratches. Poor/non-existent customer service refused to refund. Fortunately purchased through Paypal and able to recover my costs!

Purchase arrived swiftly and I switched on then off as a quick test. Later switched on, wtth no success. Emailed them and received a reply to telephone their service number, with the promise that their operative would talk me through the possible fault and, in the event of no success, would arrange a replacement. Telephoned the number provided and received a auto message that the discourse would be recorded for security purposes – the line then cut off. I telephoned again and exactly the same thing occurred. Emailed them again and Dave replied regretting the problem but he couldn’t telephone as outgoing calls were not allowed. He could not refer me to anyone nor did anyone else respond to me by email.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

How I wished I'd googled them and found this website first.

I bought 2 laptops from them, 1 failed witin a week.

On getting a replacment battery which was the problem I then found out they sent a different model to the one chosen on their website and they don't even know what model they had sent. Subsequently a wrong battery was sent (laptop was with a customer so I couldnt physically check it) which does not fit.

They now want to charge me £40 for a replacement battery and although they have a phone number on their website (that goes straight to a message asking you to contact them by email) they advised that they cannot take phone calls. How strange in world with a billion plus mobile phones!.

Currently waiting for a response about sending the faulty one back but I fear no reply will be forth coming.

I can't fathom an scenario that if someone asked me to specifically do something and that I chose to blatantly ignore it that somehow it wouldn't be my fault.

It sums them up really.. I cant fathom how they dont even know what product they have sold.

This company wasted my time and kept my money held by PayPal until my funds are to be released only on February 8th. I made I purchase of a HP Laptop and sadly it did not arrive, when I tried to call them it was going to an automated voicemail all the time (Unknown where they’re truly based) and after 48 hours they sent me an email with an apology and a fake parcel force tracking number - After checking with the courier I was told it was not a valid reference. I was panicking at this point and realised this is a bunch of jokers who regularly do this kind of things ( after reading their online reviews).
I went online and email them to advise I want to speak to someone and straight reply read “We’re unable to call you” but you can ask us what you need via email.., This is when I cancelled the order and asked for acknowledgement but it never arrived. Alarms were raised and I called PayPal to make a claim and have to wait for my funds to be released.
Sadly, 3 days after the claim was opened and I spoke to “David” at this company and received no answer, they sent me a laptop (albeit in very bad shape) - PayPal had forced me to return this item even though I cancelled prior to any kind of proven processed order or confirmed dispatch and I only signed it as I thought it was my new purchase with another Seller but it was indeed from these Cowboys.
If you treasure peace of mind and an effortless service you will stay well clear of this Company - as the hey do not give a s***
Surely, if you’re one of the lucky customers that all goest well you’ll be looking forward to your item but if things go wrong (and trust me, there’s a good chance something will by the way they do business - You will be very sorry.

I ordered a refurbished Dell laptop from the Cheaplaptopcompany at a very competitive price and they sent me a very good machine which is even above spec in that the hard drive is larger than advertised. I'm very pleased with how my transaction went and would recommend the company to others.

Admittedly I had to wait for a reply to my initial email, but I returned laptop which was received by them on 25th January and today 31st it came back fixed under warranty. So from my experience on purchase and after sales service can't fault them.

I wish I had checked trustpilot before buying from this ....

My laptop arrived OK but was missing parts and the license key to activate software did not work.

That was over 3 weeks ago and despite me keep chasing and they promising to fix its still all outstanding, I just hope the computer does not malfunction

Company based in Ireland (God knows where about) but using a UK landline... Their sole phone line is always unavailable (always says leave a message) and they never respond through the only email address they have there.
Purchased a laptop which was advertised entirely different from the true specs. Complained and contacted several times, they always ignored emails, calls or voice messages. Now will have no other choice but take this with Trading Standards and shut their business for good!

If you want to be happy, don't buy anything from this scam company. They send you the most terrible condition laptops. It takes ages to reply to your emails and they(David) is very rude. There is no sign of customer service and appreciation.

This company is just a big headache! They don't refund, they are NOT legit. They don't answer phone calls, no email reply, just nothing....

I bought a reconditioned laptop from here a couple of months ago.
Fully expected it to look a bit worn, and it did, very much so. Like it had been thrown from a car.
That said, this didn't bother me as I needed it for the office packages and general use.
Cannot complain with the communication and deliverly, I did have a couple of issues at the start, the anti virus was playing up so I had to contact that company directly, also the laptop had to be plugged in constantly or else it wouldn't work.
I emailed about my battery issue, they emailed straight back with a number to call for support, when I called support they posted out a larger battery within a couple of days.
Despite a bit of a rocky start I would use this company again.
You are getting a laptop with exactly what you want for a quarter of the price.
Do not expect a brand new looking unit, if you can get your head around that then you will be fine.

Had to put one star but it’s not even worthy of that. Had to return the laptop as it came in a terrible state. They do not answer the phone. They then said in an email they are taking 10% for restocking fee which is complete b******t. Rude in the emails. These are con artists no question about it. Going to report to trading stands

Do not buy from this company. They have a fake telephone number, do not reply to emails, they also trade under bargain laptops online, they are fraudulent, they sent me my laptop two weeks late, they sent me the wrong laptop and it is dirty, the screen has wipe marks all over it and it's has a damaged/scratched outer casing on the front and am now undergoing a PayPal case to get a refund, the company do not respond and my daughter now has no Christmas present.

The laptop I ordered never even arrived and the company refused to give a tracking number and on the (once again) revised date of delivery - a fortnight after I ordered the laptop - they stopped responding to emails at all. Fortunately I paid through PayPal so might get my money back! Avoid this company at all costs.

Bought laptop in Aug 2017. After 3 months, had a faulty screen. I then saw the reviews and panicked! Anyway, contacted company who asked me to send back under the 3 year extended warranty. They fixed issue and sent back promptly. Phew! However, it is now no longer re-booting, 1 year later. I have been contacting them via email and by phone which has a standard message (send email?) for the last five days but no response. Did I get lucky the first time, reading the reviews which are 75% bad! Not sure what to do now.

Faulty devices are provided, they lie and offer guarantees in excess of a year and failed to repair a device now for which I’ve now returned on 3 occasions in last 12 months.
To top it this off, the company will now not confirm or trained to my emails,
Yhey riny inform they will not repair the device due to the warranty now exporting.

From the outset I’ve been supplied faulty goods for which has had a recurring HDD error.

Despite returning the laptop and it having a new hard drive installed when device was returned I found the error occurred within a day or two.
Despite trying to telephone the company You can not ever seem to get to speak to them. I’ve even left voicemail messages and no one has every returned my calls.

12 months on, I have supplied s faulty laptop, spent in excess of £100 in postage returning goods back to their repair centre and now the company find they do not honour their3 year guarantees .

To top it off I want told off for returning the device for the 3rd occasion to their repair centre as approvals have to given before doing this.
Now no one will reply to my emails to confirm if they will repair the device or if they will return return the laptop back on this occasion.

I now find despite purchasing a laptop that have never worked, this company are physically thieves as well are virtual ones.

Do not buy a thing from this compsny.

I have ordered a refurbished laptop, without any previous research. The laptop arrived in bad, sticky and filthy condition. The key pad was in overall bad condition and the space bar not working at all. Nowhere near the pictures you see on their homepage.

I returned it immediately and informed the company about what I had received and that I was awaiting a full refund and assumption of the return cost.

Customer service is not only unfriendly, but outrageous. They don't use any kind of salutation at the beginning of an e-mail, nor have they ever had a proper training on customer support. Poor, frustrated people.

They also try to pinch your money if you return a faulty item, declaring it as: restocking fee. It is 10% by the way and there is absolutely no point in paying that, when they have sent a faulty item. But they try. Must be their survival technique.

I have opened a dispute case through Paypal, because they first refused to refund the entire amount and I urge you to do the same if you had a similar experience. There is Paypal Buyer Protection for cases like this. I have now received full refund, but am still awaiting the return cost to be refunded.

There are so many nice little companies that sell refurbished laptops, where you can pop in, sit down, ask questions and even try out the keypad. Just short after this bad experience with cheaplaptopcompany, I was able to find one of those nice shops and bought a great, fully working laptop for a decent price. I have received wonderful customer support and help.
