Not as good as it seams, still cheaper
It's cheaper than the actual airline prices, sometimes up to 5/6 pounds but the discount they originally promise you at the beginning of the booking process is reduced at the last step of them booking, almost always, so do take that in consideration. That is indeed a bit annoying and misleading, but there is still a certain convenience.
