Absolute deceptions, please refrain from purchasing anything from these websites. I remitted £5.95 in March 2025, and they subsequently withdrew £39.90 in April 2026, with an attempt to debit more in... See more

Initially report done for £5.95 - great job, then 2 days later my bank inform me that they have highlighted a potential fraudulent activity payment of £39.90, well let me say this, it isn't a potential fraudulent activity....it is fraud!
Had to cancel card with my bank (just before Christmas, thanks for that) and I now have the joy of updating all companies I do pay with that card with additional details.
This company is a joke and I can only echo the other posters giving 1*, if I could have given less I most certainly would've knowing now what a scam this is, I am also now questioning the veracity of the £5.95 report I have received for a car for my Son.

As per other customers have stated.
£39.99 charge coming out of bank which I never signed up to.

As per everyone else. This company is a scam, simple as that.

Very dissatisfied. This company tried to withdraw £39.9 from my bank account even I emailed them and said I have no need for any subscription and zi never asked fir subscribe. Instead to cancel this they said is written in terms snd conditions which I never seen on their website or I approved. Complete lack of transparency and poor attitude by staff and the management. That's no wonder how many people are dissatisfied. Avoid this site as is only stealing moneys and have nothing to offer the information provided is poor and unuseful.

Do not recommend, keeps trying to take out a monthly subscription of £40 when I only paid for a single check, absolute scam!

If I could give no stars I would. I paid for a service, which I received, but then they attempted to take almost £40 from my bank. I did not authorise this payment. BEWARE!!!
I have since communicated with the Company who have rectified things, which I appreciate. I would like to advise everyone to make sure you read all the small print and check/unchecked all relevant boxes

Total scam company. They lure you in with a 5.95 vehicle history check and the following day they charge you with 39.90 without warning. They also save your card details without permission, hence my bank blocked it as fraud, so getting a new card to avoid any further transactions from those fraudsters.

AVOID. TOATL SCAM ! paid for a vehicle check £5.99 (basic rubbish) then after 4 months I noticed £39.99 being taken out of my account. It’s not clear enough from when you purchase you’re being signed up to a subscription, no confirmation email etc. Managed to get x2 payments back which was hard work as their customer service is shocking! AVOID

As per lots of other customers I have been trapped by this service - £5.95 for a single search with no information of any use then £39.95 the following day That would recur monthly!!!
Please Please avoid this company - the website is designed to trap you - They are unsympathetic and will never refund you

Absolute con. Make sure you read the terms. Charge you £6 then 48 hours later take nearly £40 for a subscription you don't sign up up. Spoke to them on the phone, no cooling off period so £40 wasted.
Stay away.

Avoid check my car its a Complete scam. They offer a low cost vehicle report for 5 pounds. A few days later they claim a subscription 39.90 a month.

As others have said, used this service to check history of a car before I purchased it for £5.99. Then I get charged every month £39.99 which I wasn’t aware of whatsoever. Complete fraud

Really need a Zero star.......
DO NOT USE... if you read the summary of this company at the top of the page it pretty much sums up my experience with this company.
Only used once to purchase a car. The information I got was not massively helpful but I only paid £5.99 so didn't think much more about it and used another car checking service. Realised a month after I had a £39.90 payment taken. ...
At this is tried to call the company and the person on the other end of the phone was not very helpful after being put on hold for 10mins to check my email i used to try and find my subscription. At this point she couldn't find my subscription and asked for my last 4 digits on my card. Absolutely fuming at this stage she told me to take a screen shot of my transaction (which you cant do as its a banking app) and send it to somewhere but I couldn't tell what she was saying. At this point I said I was cancelling the payment via my bank and she hung up.

Do not use this service. You can get this information for free. They will take money from your account because of a subscription which is not made clear.
This came as a top search result on Google when searching car vertical. They even have car vertical in their text. I should have read the URL properly. They have refused to refund me. This company's service was not even worth 1 pence. AVOID!

**UPDATE**
I have changed my review to 2 stars from a NEGATIVE 1 because after emailing the email supplied, I have since had my subscription cancelled and refund of 2 months payments returned. Should their practices change in the manner of how they make the cancellation procedure transparent and clear, my opinion may change again. Appreciate the refund, but you have an AWFUL lot of wrongs to still put right.
Can't give it negative stars unfortunately. So you sign up via the offer, and make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. The password I used to check a car in the first case, and the one I use to log in, and change my password is suddenly NOT the one to cancel? Why? So I have paid £120 despite asking to cancel, just wish I had checked the reviews first! Crooks...that's all....petty thieves. Almost forgot, do not respond when you send a message via their own portal either.
